㈜아이티아이즈는 소속 임직원 최현석 수석이 기후·에너지·환경 분야 정책 발전에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 지난 12월 31일 기후에너지환경부장관 표창을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
최현석 수석은 국립환경과학원 환경연구정보센터 전산자원 통합유지관리 PM(Project Manager)으로 활동하며, 기관 핵심 정보시스템의 안정적 운영과 고도화를 통해 환경 정책을 기술적으로 지원해 왔다. 매년 인프라 개선을 통해 시스템 안정성과 보안 수준을 동시에 강화하며 공공 IT 운영의 모범 사례를 만들어 온 점이 높이 평가됐다.
특히 최 수석은 기존 인프라를 완전한 이중화 체계로 전환하고 네트워크 생존성을 강화해 대규모 장애 상황에서도 시스템이 안정적으로 운영될 수 있는 기반을 마련했다. 또한 서버, 네트워크, 보안 장비에 대한 정기 점검, 취약점 관리, 장애 대응 체계 정비를 통해 시스템 가용성과 보안을 동시에 향상시켰다. 이를 통해 공공 환경 정책을 지원하는 핵심 정보시스템의 안정적 운영 기반을 구축했다는 평가를 받고 있다.
최현석 수석은 “이번 표창은 단순한 시스템 운영을 넘어 공공 환경 정책을 기술로 뒷받침한 노력이 인정받은 결과”라며 “앞으로도 신뢰받는 인프라 구축을 통해 사회적 가치 창출에 기여하겠다”고 밝혔다.

In particular, Chief Choi transformed the existing infrastructure into a fully redundant system and strengthened network survivability, laying the foundation for stable system operation even in the event of a large-scale failure. Furthermore, he simultaneously improved system availability and security through regular inspections of servers, networks, and security equipment, vulnerability management, and the improvement of a failure response system. This has been recognized as establishing a stable operating foundation for core information systems supporting public environmental policies.
