의료 인공지능(AI) 기업 루닛(대표 서범석)은 이재명 대통령의 방중 일정의 일환으로 개최된 ‘한·중 벤처스타트업 서밋’에 한국 대표 유니콘 기업으로 참석했다고 8일 밝혔다.
중소벤처기업부 주관으로 중국 상해 국제전시센터에서 열린 이번 서밋에는 이재명 대통령을 비롯해 김용범 대통령실 정책실장, 배경훈 부총리 겸 과학기술정보통신부 장관, 한성숙 중소벤처기업부 장관, 주한 중국대사, 주중 한국대사, 중국 상하이 부시장 등 양국 정부 관계자와 주요 테크기업, 투자업계 관계자 등 약 400명이 참석했다.
서범석 루닛 대표는 대통령 주재로 진행된 ‘한·중 벤처스타트업과의 대화’ 세션에 참여해 중국 유니콘 기업 브레인코(BrainCo)와 함께 양국 대표 유니콘 기업 자격으로 협력 방향과 추진 과제에 대한 의견을 제시했다.
서 대표는 발표를 통해 중국 AI 헬스케어 시장의 성장성을 언급하며, 글로벌 제약사들과 공동으로 연구개발 중인 AI 바이오마커가 향후 동반진단(CDx)으로 출시될 경우 중국 시장에서의 활용 가능성에 대해 논의가 진행 중이라고 설명했다.
이에 대해 이재명 대통령은 중국의 시장 규모와 속도, 한국의 기술 신뢰성과 안정성이 결합될 경우 시너지가 기대된다는 점에 공감을 표하며, 정부 차원의 지원 의지를 밝혔다.
서밋 이후 서 대표는 한·중 투자 컨퍼런스 및 글로벌펀드 결성식에도 참석해 벤처캐피탈 등 투자사들과의 미팅을 진행하고, 중국 유망 기업들과 판로 개척 및 협력 확대 방안을 논의했다.
루닛은 2020년 상해에 자회사 ‘루닛 차이나(Lunit China)’를 설립하며 중국 시장에 진출했다. 이후 애질런트, 랩콥, 셀카르타, 로슈진단, 인디카랩스 등 중국 내 지사를 둔 글로벌 파트너사를 통해 연구 및 실험실 환경에서 AI 제품을 공급하고 있다. 또한 레전트 캐피탈, 타이번 캐피탈 등 중국 및 중화권 주요 투자사로부터 투자를 유치하며 협력 관계를 이어가고 있다.

Runit Attends Korea-China Venture Startup Summit
Medical artificial intelligence (AI) company Lunit (CEO Seo Beom-seok) announced on the 8th that it attended the 'Korea-China Venture Startup Summit' held as part of President Lee Jae-myung's visit to China as a representative Korean unicorn company.
Hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and held at the Shanghai International Exhibition Center in China, the summit was attended by approximately 400 people, including President Lee Jae-myung, Chief of Staff to the President Kim Yong-beom, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and ICT Bae Kyung-hoon, Minister of SMEs and Startups Han Sung-sook, Chinese Ambassador to Korea, Korean Ambassador to China, Deputy Mayor of Shanghai, and other government officials from both countries, as well as representatives from major tech companies and the investment industry.
Seo Beom-seok, CEO of Runit, participated in the ‘Dialogue with Korean and Chinese Venture Startups’ session chaired by the President, and presented his opinions on the direction of cooperation and tasks to be promoted as a representative unicorn company of both countries, along with Chinese unicorn company BrainCo.
In his presentation, CEO Seo mentioned the growth potential of the Chinese AI healthcare market and explained that discussions are underway regarding the possibility of utilizing AI biomarkers, which are being jointly researched and developed with global pharmaceutical companies, in the Chinese market when they are launched as companion diagnostics (CDx) in the future.
In response, President Lee Jae-myung expressed his agreement that synergy would be achieved by combining China's market size and speed with Korea's technological reliability and stability, and expressed his willingness to provide government-level support.
After the summit, CEO Seo also attended the Korea-China Investment Conference and the Global Fund Inauguration Ceremony, where he met with venture capital firms and other investment firms and discussed ways to expand sales channels and cooperation with promising Chinese companies.
Lunit entered the Chinese market in 2020 by establishing a subsidiary, Lunit China, in Shanghai. Since then, it has been supplying AI products in research and laboratory environments through global partners with branches in China, including Agilent, LabCorp, Cellcarta, Roche Diagnostics, and IndicaLabs. Furthermore, it has attracted investment from major investors in China and the Greater China region, including Regent Capital and Taiburn Capital, and continues its partnerships.

Runit出席中韩创业峰会
医疗人工智能（AI）公司Lunit（CEO 徐范锡）于 8 日宣布，该公司作为韩国独角兽企业的代表，参加了在李在明总统访华期间举办的“韩中创业峰会”。
此次峰会由韩国中小企业和创业部主办，在中国上海国际展览中心举行，约有400人出席，其中包括韩国总统李在明、总统办公厅主任金容范、副总理兼科学技术信息通信部部长裴京勋、中小企业和创业部部长韩成淑、中国驻韩国大使、韩国驻中国大使、上海市副市长以及两国其他政府官员，还有来自主要科技公司和投资行业的代表。
Runit 首席执行官徐范锡参加了由总统主持的“与韩国和中国风险创业公司对话”会议，并就合作方向和作为两国代表性独角兽公司 BrainCo 需要推进的任务发表了意见。
Seo 首席执行官在演讲中提到了中国人工智能医疗市场的增长潜力，并解释说，目前正在讨论将人工智能生物标志物（这些生物标志物是与全球制药公司联合研发的）用于中国市场的可能性，以便将来将其作为伴随诊断 (CDx) 推出。
对此，李在明总统表示同意，将中国的市场规模和速度与韩国的技术可靠性和稳定性相结合，可以实现协同效应，并表示愿意提供政府层面的支持。
峰会结束后，徐社长还出席了韩国-中国投资会议和全球基金成立仪式，会见了风险投资公司和其他投资公司，探讨了如何扩大销售渠道以及与有发展前景的中国公司开展合作。
2020年，Lunit通过在上海设立子公司Lunit China正式进军中国市场。此后，Lunit一直通过与安捷伦、LabCorp、Cellcarta、罗氏诊断和IndicaLabs等在中国设有分支机构的全球合作伙伴，为科研和实验室环境提供人工智能产品。此外，Lunit还吸引了包括Regent Capital和Taiburn Capital在内的中国及大中华区主要投资机构的投资，并持续推进合作。

Runit participe au sommet Corée-Chine sur les startups et les entreprises en capital-risque
Lunit, société spécialisée dans l'intelligence artificielle médicale (IA) (PDG Seo Beom-seok), a annoncé le 8 qu'elle avait participé au « Korea-China Venture Startup Summit » organisé dans le cadre de la visite du président Lee Jae-myung en Chine en tant que représentante des licornes coréennes.
Organisé par le ministère des PME et des Startups et tenu au Centre international des expositions de Shanghai en Chine, le sommet a réuni environ 400 personnes, dont le président Lee Jae-myung, le chef de cabinet du président Kim Yong-beom, le vice-Premier ministre et ministre des Sciences et des TIC Bae Kyung-hoon, la ministre des PME et des Startups Han Sung-sook, l'ambassadeur de Chine en Corée, l'ambassadeur de Corée en Chine, le maire adjoint de Shanghai et d'autres représentants gouvernementaux des deux pays, ainsi que des représentants de grandes entreprises technologiques et du secteur de l'investissement.
Seo Beom-seok, PDG de Runit, a participé à la session « Dialogue avec les startups coréennes et chinoises » présidée par le Président, et a présenté son point de vue sur l'orientation de la coopération et les objectifs à atteindre en tant que société licorne représentative des deux pays, aux côtés de la société licorne chinoise BrainCo.
Dans sa présentation, le PDG Seo a mentionné le potentiel de croissance du marché chinois de la santé basé sur l'IA et a expliqué que des discussions sont en cours concernant la possibilité d'utiliser sur le marché chinois les biomarqueurs d'IA, qui sont recherchés et développés conjointement avec des sociétés pharmaceutiques mondiales, lorsqu'ils seront lancés à l'avenir en tant que tests compagnons (CDx).
En réponse, le président Lee Jae-myung a exprimé son accord sur le fait qu'une synergie serait réalisée en combinant la taille et la rapidité du marché chinois avec la fiabilité et la stabilité technologiques de la Corée, et a exprimé sa volonté de fournir un soutien au niveau gouvernemental.
À l'issue du sommet, le PDG Seo a participé à la Conférence sur l'investissement Corée-Chine et à la cérémonie d'inauguration du Fonds mondial, où il a rencontré des sociétés de capital-risque et d'autres sociétés d'investissement et discuté des moyens d'élargir les canaux de vente et la coopération avec des entreprises chinoises prometteuses.
Lunit a fait son entrée sur le marché chinois en 2020 en créant une filiale, Lunit China, à Shanghai. Depuis, elle fournit des produits d'IA aux environnements de recherche et de laboratoire par l'intermédiaire de partenaires internationaux implantés en Chine, tels qu'Agilent, LabCorp, Cellcarta, Roche Diagnostics et IndicaLabs. Par ailleurs, elle a attiré des investissements de grands investisseurs chinois et de la région de la Grande Chine, notamment Regent Capital et Taiburn Capital, et poursuit le développement de ses partenariats.
