3D 카메라 및 비전 기반 인지 시스템 전문 기업 ㈜모디전스비전(대표 김대희)은 프랑스 엣지 AI 기술 기업 MountAIn과 피지컬 AI 응용 분야 협력을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 14일 밝혔다. 협약은 CES 2026 유레카 파크(Eureka Park) 현장에서 진행됐다.
이번 협약은 모디전스비전의 3D 비전 기반 인지 기술과 MountAIn의 엣지 AI 기술을 결합해 실제 환경에서 적용 가능한 피지컬 AI 활용 사례를 발굴하고 검증하는 것을 목표로 한다. 초기 단계에서는 PoC(Proof of Concept) 및 데모 중심의 파일럿 협업을 통해 전력과 네트워크 제약이 있는 산업 및 원격 환경에서 적용 가능성을 공동 검토할 예정이다.
양사는 이번 협력을 통해 모디전스비전의 3D 퍼셉션 및 센싱 기술과 MountAIn의 엣지 AI 미들웨어, 애플리케이션 인텔리전스, 시스템 운영 역량을 결합한다. 로봇, 자동화, 원격 모니터링 등 다양한 분야에서 AI 시스템의 현장 적용이 확대됨에 따라, 정확한 퍼셉션과 온디바이스 기반 판단을 통합한 구조의 중요성이 강조되고 있다.
모디전스비전 김대희 대표는 “피지컬 AI는 하드웨어, 센서, AI 알고리즘 단독으로 완성되는 기술이 아니라, 현실 세계를 인식하고 이를 해석·활용하는 애플리케이션 인텔리전스가 결합될 때 의미를 갖는다”며, “이번 협력을 통해 실제 현장에서 검증 가능한 피지컬 AI 사례를 만들어갈 계획”이라고 말했다.

ModiGenceVision Signs MOU with France's MountAIn
Modiance Vision Co., Ltd. (CEO Daehee Kim), a company specializing in 3D cameras and vision-based cognitive systems, announced on the 14th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with French edge AI technology company MountAIn for collaboration in the field of physical AI applications. The agreement was signed at CES 2026 Eureka Park.
This agreement aims to discover and validate real-world use cases for physical AI by combining ModianceVision's 3D vision-based perception technology with MountAI's edge AI technology. In the initial phase, the two companies will jointly examine applicability in industrial and remote environments with power and network constraints through pilot collaborations focused on Proof of Concept (PoC) and demonstrations.
This collaboration combines ModianceVision's 3D perception and sensing technology with MountAIn's edge AI middleware, application intelligence, and system operation capabilities. As the field application of AI systems expands across diverse fields, including robotics, automation, and remote monitoring, the importance of an architecture that integrates accurate perception and on-device judgment is being emphasized.
ModianceVision CEO Kim Dae-hee said, “Physical AI is not a technology that can be completed with hardware, sensors, and AI algorithms alone, but it becomes meaningful when combined with application intelligence that recognizes the real world and interprets and utilizes it.” He added, “Through this collaboration, we plan to create physical AI cases that can be verified in actual fields.”

Cet accord vise à découvrir et valider des cas d'utilisation concrets de l'IA physique en combinant la technologie de perception 3D de ModianceVision avec la technologie d'IA embarquée de MountAI.
