비전 AI 전문기업 씨이랩(대표 윤세혁, 채정환)은 국내 AI 산업의 디지털 전환을 선도하고 중소기업 및 소상공인의 경쟁력 강화에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 중소벤처기업부 장관 표창을 수상했다고 21일 밝혔다.
이번 표창은 중소기업과 소상공인의 성장과 경쟁력 제고를 위해 컨설팅, 기술, 인프라 등 다양한 지원 활동을 수행하고 현장에서 실질적인 성과를 창출한 우수 기업을 대상으로 수여된다.
씨이랩은 누구나 쉽게 활용할 수 있는 AI 기술 구현이라는 경영 철학을 바탕으로 소상공인 대상 AI 서비스 상용화와 중소기업의 AI 개발 인프라 접근성 향상에 기여한 점을 인정받았다. 또한 다양한 산업 현장에서 AI 적용 사례를 확대하며 국내 AI 산업 생태계 확장에 기여한 점도 높이 평가됐다.
씨이랩은 지난해 클라우드형 AI CCTV 서비스 엑스아이바 클라우드(XAIVA Cloud)를 출시하고 상용화했다. 해당 서비스는 화재 및 침입 감지 등 보안 관리 기능은 물론 고객 동선 분석과 매장 운영 분석을 실시간으로 제공하며, 고가의 장비 구축 없이 월 구독 방식으로 이용할 수 있어 소상공인의 디지털 전환 진입 장벽을 낮춘 것으로 평가된다.
또한 GPU 클러스터 관리 솔루션 아스트라고(AstraGo)를 통해 스타트업과 중소기업이 겪는 AI 개발 인프라 문제 해결에도 기여했다. 아스트라고는 GPU 자동 스케줄링과 자원 최적화 기능을 통해 GPU 활용 효율을 높이고, 고가 장비 투자 부담 없이 AI 개발 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있는 환경을 제공했다. 이는 GPU 공급난 상황에서도 국내 AI 기술 개발을 안정적으로 지원한 사례로 꼽힌다.
씨이랩은 이와 함께 인재 육성과 내부 AI 운영 체계 구축을 통해 기업 전반의 전문성과 실행력을 강화해 왔다. 올해부터는 의료, 로봇, 제조 등 다양한 산업 분야에서 피지컬 AI 기반의 AI 융합 활동을 확대하고, 현장에서 즉시 활용 가능한 AI 기술의 실증과 상용화를 추진할 계획이다.

Seelab Receives Minister of SMEs and Startups Award for Contribution to AI Industry Digital Transformation
Vision AI specialist company Seelab (CEOs Se-hyeok Yoon and Jeong-hwan Chae) announced on the 21st that it had received a commendation from the Minister of SMEs and Startups in recognition of its contribution to leading the digital transformation of the domestic AI industry and strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners.

Available on a monthly subscription basis, it eliminates the need for expensive equipment installation, lowering the barrier to entry for small business owners in their digital transformation.
Furthermore, AstraGo, a GPU cluster management solution, has contributed to resolving AI development infrastructure challenges faced by startups and SMEs. With automatic GPU scheduling and resource optimization features, AstraGo increases GPU utilization efficiency and provides an environment for AI development productivity to be enhanced without the burden of investing in expensive equipment. This is considered a case study that has steadily supported domestic AI technology development even amidst GPU shortages.
In addition, Seelab has been strengthening its overall expertise and execution capabilities through talent development and the establishment of an internal AI operating system. Starting this year, it plans to expand its AI convergence activities based on physical AI across various industries, including healthcare, robotics, and manufacturing, and pursue the validation and commercialization of AI technologies that can be immediately applied in the field.
Regarding this award, Sehyuk Yoon, CEO of C-Lab, said that it was a public recognition of the company's efforts to solve real-world problems in the industrial field through AI technology and products, and that the company would continue to expand its performance in domestic and international markets by advancing AI technology and strengthening product competitiveness tailored to the characteristics of each industry.
