AI 경량화 및 최적화 기술기업 노타(대표 채명수)가 아랍에미리트(UAE) 아부다비 교통청과 온디바이스 AI 기반 실시간 사고 관리 시스템 및 협력 지능형 교통 체계(C-ITS) 공동 연구 개발을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 22일 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 지난해 아부다비에서 노타의 지능형 교통 체계(ITS) 기술 검증을 성공적으로 완료하고, 11월 한국–UAE 비즈니스 라운드테이블을 통해 아부다비 전역으로 솔루션 도입 방안을 논의한 데 따른 후속 조치다. 노타는 도로 돌발 상황 검지 성능에서 95% 이상의 정확도를 기록하며 현지에서 기술 경쟁력을 입증했다.
협약에 따라 노타와 아부다비 교통청은 ▲비전언어모델(VLM) 기반 실시간 사고 관리 및 V2I 통신 기술 연계 ▲C-ITS 인프라 활용 교통 경보 및 교통 약자 보호 서비스 구현 ▲교통 관제 센터 시스템 통합 및 보안 거버넌스 수립 등에서 협력하기로 했다.
핵심 기술인 ‘노타 비전 에이전트(Nota Vision Agent)’는 하드웨어 인식형 AI 최적화 플랫폼 ‘넷츠프레소’를 기반으로 온디바이스 AI에 최적화됐다. 이를 통해 사고 발생 시 최소 지연으로 실시간 경보를 제공하며, 민감한 영상 데이터를 외부로 전송하지 않아 개인정보 보호와 사이버 보안을 강화한다. 또한 클라우드 운영 비용 절감 효과로 아부다비 교통 인프라와 효율적인 통합이 가능하다.
노타는 지난해 두바이 도로교통국과 ITS 시스템 상용화 계약을 체결한 바 있으며, 케냐 도시도로공사와 LG CNS의 교통관제 센터 구축 프로젝트에도 참여하며 글로벌 시장에서 기술력을 확장하고 있다.
채명수 노타 대표는 “아부다비 교통청과의 협력은 온디바이스 최적화 AI 기술이 실시간 교통 분석과 예측 정확도를 높이는 핵심 역할을 하게 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Nota Signs MOU with UAE's Abu Dhabi Transport Authority
Nota (CEO Myung-soo Chae), an AI lightweight and optimization technology company, announced on the 22nd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Abu Dhabi Transport Authority in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for joint research and development of an on-device AI-based real-time accident management system and a cooperative intelligent transport system (C-ITS).
This agreement follows the successful completion of a validation of Nota's Intelligent Transport System (ITS) technology in Abu Dhabi last year and the discussions held at the Korea-UAE Business Roundtable in November regarding the rollout of the solution across Abu Dhabi. Nota demonstrated its technological competitiveness locally, achieving over 95% accuracy in road accident detection.
Under the agreement, Nota and Abu Dhabi Transport Authority will collaborate on ▲ real-time incident management based on Vision Language Model (VLM) and V2I communication technology linkage ▲ implementation of traffic alert and vulnerable road user protection services utilizing C-ITS infrastructure ▲ integration of traffic control center systems and establishment of security governance.
The core technology, "Nota Vision Agent," is based on the hardware-based AI optimization platform "Netpresso," and is optimized for on-device AI. This provides real-time alerts with minimal delay in the event of an accident, while also enhancing privacy and cybersecurity by eliminating the external transmission of sensitive video data. Furthermore, the reduced cloud operating costs enable efficient integration with Abu Dhabi's transportation infrastructure.
Nota signed a commercialization contract with the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority last year for an ITS system, and is also expanding its technological capabilities in the global market by participating in a traffic control center construction project with Kenya Urban Roads Corporation and LG CNS.
“Our collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Transport Authority will play a key role in enabling on-device optimized AI technology to enhance real-time traffic analysis and prediction accuracy,” said Chae Myung-soo, CEO of Nota.

ノータは昨年ドバイ道路交通局とITSシステム商用化契約を締結したことがあり、ケニア都市道路公社とLG CNSの交通管制センター構築プロジェクトにも参加し、グローバル市場で技術力を拡張している。

Nota (PDG Myung-soo Chae), une société de technologie légère et d'optimisation basée sur l'IA, a annoncé le 22 qu'elle avait signé un protocole d'accord (MOU) avec l'Autorité des transports d'Abu Dhabi aux Émirats arabes unis (EAU) pour la recherche et le développement conjoints d'un système de gestion des accidents en temps réel basé sur l'IA embarquée et d'un système de transport intelligent coopératif (C-ITS).
Cet accord fait suite à la validation réussie de la technologie des Systèmes de Transport Intelligents (STI) de Nota à Abou Dhabi l'an dernier et aux discussions tenues lors de la Table ronde d'affaires Corée-Émirats arabes unis en novembre concernant le déploiement de cette solution à travers Abou Dhabi. Nota a démontré sa compétitivité technologique au niveau local, atteignant une précision de plus de 95 % dans la détection des accidents de la route.
Aux termes de cet accord, Nota et l'Autorité des transports d'Abu Dhabi collaboreront sur ▲ la gestion des incidents en temps réel basée sur le modèle de langage de vision (VLM) et la liaison de la technologie de communication V2I ▲ la mise en œuvre de services d'alerte de trafic et de protection des usagers vulnérables de la route utilisant l'infrastructure C-ITS ▲ l'intégration des systèmes de centres de contrôle du trafic et l'établissement d'une gouvernance de sécurité.
La technologie de base, « Nota Vision Agent », repose sur la plateforme d'optimisation matérielle d'IA « Netpresso » et est optimisée pour l'IA embarquée. Elle permet ainsi de fournir des alertes en temps réel avec un délai minimal en cas d'accident, tout en renforçant la confidentialité et la cybersécurité grâce à l'élimination de la transmission externe de données vidéo sensibles. De plus, la réduction des coûts d'exploitation du cloud facilite une intégration efficace avec l'infrastructure de transport d'Abu Dhabi.
Nota a signé l'an dernier un contrat de commercialisation avec l'Autorité des routes et des transports de Dubaï pour un système ITS, et développe également ses capacités technologiques sur le marché mondial en participant à un projet de construction d'un centre de contrôle du trafic avec la Kenya Urban Roads Corporation et LG CNS.
