㈜클로토(대표 이현석)는 국립순천대학교 SW중심대학사업단과 산학협력 체계를 구축하고, 자사 정부지원사업 연구행정 DX 서비스 ‘Hello Unicorn(헬로유니콘)’ 기반으로 AI 고도화 및 현장형 실증을 본격 추진한다고 23일 밝혔다.
이번 협력은 기업들이 정부지원사업 수행 과정에서 겪는 연구비 집행, 증빙, 정산, 사후점검 등 반복 행정 업무를 데이터로 표준화하고, AI 학습과 예측에 활용해 불인정, 누락, 지연 리스크를 사전에 줄이는 방향으로 진행된다. 클로토는 헬로유니콘 운영 과정에서 축적되는 연구행정 데이터를 활용해 기존 ‘서류 처리 중심’ 방식에서 벗어나 연구행정을 ‘예측 가능한 운영 시스템’으로 전환하는 것을 목표로 한다.
클로토 관계자는 “정부지원사업은 기업 성장의 레버리지지만, 연구행정 부담으로 조직이 느려지는 경우가 많다”며 “헬로유니콘은 단순 대행 수준을 넘어 기업이 정부지원사업을 안정적으로 수행할 수 있는 인프라로 진화하고 있으며, 국립순천대학교와 협업을 통해 AI 고도화 속도를 높일 것”이라고 설명했다.
국립순천대학교 SW중심대학사업단은 산학협력을 통해 산업 수요 기반의 실무형 AI 교육과 연구 성과를 동시에 창출할 수 있다고 평가했다. 학교의 교육·연구 역량과 기업의 현장 데이터 및 제품 운영 경험이 결합될 경우, 정부지원사업 연구행정 분야에서 현장 적용 가능한 AI를 빠르게 구현할 수 있다는 분석이다.
클로토는 이번 협력을 계기로 헬로유니콘 기반 연구행정 데이터 활용 범위를 확대해, 정부지원사업 수행 과정에서 발생하는 다양한 변수를 AI로 분석하고 기업별 맞춤 운영 가이드와 자동 점검 체계를 고도화할 계획이다. 이를 통해 연구행정 병목을 줄이고 기업이 연구와 사업화에 집중할 수 있는 연구행정 DX 모델을 확산한다는 전략이다.
한편 클로토는 최근 중소벤처기업부 주관 ‘OpenData X AI 챌린지’에서 최종 선발 AI 스타트업 6개사에 선정되며 공공데이터 기반 AI 실증 역량을 인정받았다. 클로토는 이를 바탕으로 정부지원사업과 연구행정 결합 영역에서 AI 적용 범위를 확대해 정책·현장형 AI 솔루션으로 확장해 나갈 예정이다.

Clotho Signs Industry-Academic Collaboration Agreement with Suncheon National University on AI and AIX
Cloto Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Hyeon-seok) announced on the 23rd that it will establish an industry-academic cooperation system with the SW-centered university business division of Suncheon National University and will actively pursue AI advancement and field verification based on its government-supported research administration DX service, 'Hello Unicorn'.

Klotho aims to leverage the research administration data accumulated during Hello Unicorn's operations to shift research administration from its traditional "paperwork-centric" approach to a "predictable operational system."
A Cloto official explained, “Government-supported projects are leverage for corporate growth, but the burden of research administration often slows down the organization.” He continued, “Hello Unicorn is evolving beyond a simple agency into an infrastructure that allows companies to stably carry out government-supported projects, and we will accelerate the advancement of AI through collaboration with Suncheon National University.”
The Software-Focused University Project at Suncheon National University has evaluated that industry-academic collaboration can simultaneously produce practical AI education and research results based on industry needs. The analysis suggests that combining the school's educational and research capabilities with a company's field data and product operation experience can rapidly implement applicable AI in government-funded research administration.
Through this collaboration, Clotho plans to expand the use of Hello Unicorn-based research administration data. It will analyze various variables arising during government-funded projects using AI and enhance customized operational guides and automated inspection systems for each company. This strategy aims to reduce research administration bottlenecks and expand the research administration DX model, enabling companies to focus on research and commercialization.
Meanwhile, Clotho was recently recognized for its public data-based AI verification capabilities by being selected as one of six finalists for the "OpenData X AI Challenge" hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Building on this achievement, Clotho plans to expand the scope of AI application beyond government-supported projects and research administration to encompass policy and field-oriented AI solutions.

Le projet « Université axée sur les logiciels » de l’Université nationale de Suncheon a démontré que la collaboration entre l’industrie et le monde universitaire permet de produire simultanément une formation et des résultats de recherche pratiques en IA, répondant aux besoins de l’industrie. L’analyse suggère que l’association des capacités d’enseignement et de recherche de l’université avec les données de terrain et l’expérience opérationnelle des entreprises peut accélérer la mise en œuvre de l’IA applicable dans la gestion de la recherche financée par l’État.
Grâce à cette collaboration, Clotho prévoit d'étendre l'utilisation des données de gestion de la recherche issues de Hello Unicorn. L'entreprise analysera diverses variables liées aux projets financés par les pouvoirs publics grâce à l'IA et améliorera les guides opérationnels personnalisés et les systèmes d'inspection automatisés pour chaque entreprise. Cette stratégie vise à réduire les obstacles à la gestion de la recherche et à développer le modèle de transformation numérique de cette gestion, permettant ainsi aux entreprises de se concentrer sur la recherche et la commercialisation.
