엠로(대표 송재민)은 자사가 개발한 SRM SaaS 솔루션 ‘케이던시아’가 ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, 27018 인증을 획득했다고 4일 밝혔다.
ISO/IEC 인증은 국제표준화기구(ISO)와 국제전기기술위원회(IEC)가 공동 제정한 글로벌 정보보안 표준으로, ISO/IEC 27001은 정보보안 관리체계(ISMS)를, ISO/IEC 27017은 클라우드 환경의 보안 통제를, ISO/IEC 27018은 클라우드 내 개인정보 보호 체계를 평가한다.
SaaS 기업은 다수의 고객 데이터를 클라우드에서 처리·저장·운영하므로 클라우드 보안과 개인정보 보호가 필수적이다. 엠로는 이번 인증을 통해 자사의 글로벌 수준 보안 체계와 개인정보 보호 역량을 객관적으로 입증했으며, 이를 기반으로 국내뿐 아니라 해외 시장에서도 경쟁력과 신뢰도를 강화할 것으로 기대된다.
엠로는 현재 ‘케이던시아’를 중심으로 국내외 SRM 시장 진출을 확대하고 있으며, 이번 ISO/IEC 인증은 기존 SOC2 Type2 인증에 더해 글로벌 기업이 요구하는 보안 및 개인정보 보호 기준을 충족했음을 의미한다.

ISO/IEC certification is a global information security standard jointly established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). ISO/IEC 27001 evaluates the Information Security Management System (ISMS), ISO/IEC 27017 evaluates the security control of cloud environments, and ISO/IEC 27018 evaluates the personal information protection system in the cloud.
SaaS companies process, store, and manage a large amount of customer data in the cloud, making cloud security and privacy protection essential.
