사이테크 기업 그래디언트(대표 이기형)는 자사의 과학 콘텐츠 플랫폼 ‘SOAK(Scientific Odyssey Along the Knowledge)’가 iF 디자인 어워드 2026 교육·학습(Education, Learning) 부문에서 본상을 받았다고 6일 밝혔다.
‘iF 디자인 어워드’는 독일 레드닷 디자인, 미국 IDEA 디자인 어워드와 함께 세계 3대 디자인 어워드로 꼽히며, 매년 전 세계 다수의 디자인 프로젝트와 서비스가 평가받는 권위 있는 시상식이다.
SOAK은 서비스, 시스템, 프로세스 디자인 측면에서 혁신적인 학습 경험을 제공하는 플랫폼으로 평가됐다. 전문 필진의 원고를 기반으로 제작된 영상 콘텐츠와 사용자 인터페이스를 통합 설계하여, 단순한 지식 전달이 아닌 탐험과 참여 중심의 학습 경험을 구현한 점이 높은 평가를 받았다. 또한 AI 이미지 생성과 보이스 클로닝 기술을 결합한 효율적 콘텐츠 제작 파이프라인을 통해 기술과 디자인의 조화를 실현했다.
지난해 4월 출시된 SOAK은 기초과학 전 분야의 콘텐츠를 제공하며, 키워드 탐색, 토론, 퀴즈 등 참여형 기능을 통해 사용자 상호작용을 극대화한다. 이를 통해 사용자가 자발적으로 탐구하도록 유도하는 차세대 과학 플랫폼으로 자리 잡았다.
그래디언트 퍼블리싱 워킹그룹 김병민 그룹장은 “iF 디자인 어워드에서 사용자 편의성과 몰입도를 높인 SOAK의 디자인 역량을 인정받은 것을 의미 있게 생각한다”며 “앞으로도 AI 기술을 활용해 누구나 흥미롭게 과학을 탐구할 수 있는 환경을 확장할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
한편, SOAK은 지난달 한국디지털기업협회가 주관한 ‘2025 앤어워드(A.N.D Award)’에서 AI 기반 콘텐츠 제작 체계의 완성도와 확장성을 인정받아 디지털 서비스 부문 AI 분야 은상을 수상한 바 있다.
과학 교육 및 디지털 학습 플랫폼 시장에서는 AI와 인터랙티브 디자인을 결합한 학습 서비스에 대한 관심과 경쟁이 지속적으로 확대되고 있다.

Gradient 'SOAK' Wins iF Design Award 2026
Science technology company Gradient (CEO Lee Ki-hyung) announced on the 6th that its scientific content platform 'SOAK (Scientific Odyssey Along the Knowledge)' won the grand prize in the Education and Learning category at the iF Design Award 2026.
The 'iF Design Award' is considered one of the world's top three design awards, along with Germany's Red Dot Design Award and the United States' IDEA Design Award, and is a prestigious awards ceremony where numerous design projects and services from around the world are evaluated every year.
SOAK was recognized as a platform that provides an innovative learning experience in terms of service, system, and process design. It received high praise for its integrated design of video content and user interface, based on manuscripts by expert writers, enabling a learning experience focused on exploration and engagement, rather than simply transferring knowledge. Furthermore, it achieved a harmonious balance between technology and design through an efficient content production pipeline that combines AI image generation and voice cloning technologies.
Launched in April of last year, SOAK provides content across all areas of basic science and maximizes user interaction through interactive features like keyword exploration, discussions, and quizzes. This has established it as a next-generation science platform that encourages users to engage in self-directed exploration.
Kim Byeong-min, head of the Gradient Publishing Working Group, said, “It is meaningful that SOAK’s design capabilities, which have enhanced user convenience and immersion, have been recognized by the iF Design Award,” and added, “We plan to continue to expand the environment where anyone can explore science in an interesting way by utilizing AI technology.”
Meanwhile, SOAK won a silver award in the AI category of the digital service sector at the '2025 AND Awards' hosted by the Korea Digital Enterprise Association last month in recognition of the completeness and scalability of its AI-based content production system.
In the science education and digital learning platform market, interest and competition in learning services that combine AI and interactive design are continuously growing.

La société de technologie scientifique Gradient (PDG Lee Ki-hyung) a annoncé le 6 que sa plateforme de contenu scientifique « SOAK (Scientific Odyssey Along the Knowledge) » a remporté le grand prix dans la catégorie Éducation et Apprentissage aux iF Design Awards 2026.
Le « iF Design Award » est considéré comme l'un des trois prix de design les plus prestigieux au monde, aux côtés du Red Dot Design Award allemand et de l'IDEA Design Award américain. Il s'agit d'une cérémonie de remise de prix prestigieuse où de nombreux projets et services de design du monde entier sont évalués chaque année.
SOAK a été reconnue comme une plateforme offrant une expérience d'apprentissage innovante en termes de conception de services, de systèmes et de processus. Elle a été particulièrement saluée pour la conception intégrée de ses contenus vidéo et de son interface utilisateur, basée sur des textes rédigés par des experts, permettant ainsi un apprentissage axé sur l'exploration et l'engagement, plutôt que sur la simple transmission de connaissances. De plus, elle a atteint un équilibre harmonieux entre technologie et design grâce à un processus de production de contenu efficace combinant la génération d'images par IA et les technologies de clonage vocal.

Par ailleurs, SOAK a remporté un prix d'argent dans la catégorie IA du secteur des services numériques lors des « AND Awards 2025 » organisés le mois dernier par la Korea Digital Enterprise Association, en reconnaissance de l'exhaustivité et de l'évolutivité de son système de production de contenu basé sur l'IA.
Sur le marché de l'enseignement scientifique et des plateformes d'apprentissage numérique, l'intérêt et la concurrence pour les services d'apprentissage combinant IA et conception interactive sont en constante augmentation.
