더인벤션랩은 싱가포르 소재 벤처캐피털 캐피탈 JDI(Capital JDI)와 파트너십을 체결하고 베트남을 비롯한 동남아시아 지역 스타트업 지원 협력을 추진한다고 밝혔다.
이번 협력은 동남아 초기 스타트업을 대상으로 캐피탈 JDI가 운영하는 ‘Capital JDI Office Hours’ 프로그램을 계기로 이뤄졌다. 해당 프로그램은 창업팀이 투자자와 업계 전문가와 직접 소통할 수 있도록 마련된 자리로, 투자 환경이 점차 선별적으로 변화하는 가운데 동남아 스타트업 커뮤니티에서 관심을 받고 있다. 양사는 이 프로그램을 기반으로 향후 중장기 협력 구조를 단계적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
양사는 협력을 통해 스타트업 생태계 내 네트워크 연결을 강화하고 정보 교류를 확대하는 한편, 창업팀과 투자자·전문가 간 연결 기회를 늘릴 방침이다. 또한 최근 투자 시장에서 나타나는 자금 조달 경쟁 심화와 해외 시장 진출 과정에서의 장벽에 대응할 수 있도록 다양한 지원 활동을 함께 추진할 예정이다.
이번 협력은 더인벤션랩이 베트남을 포함한 동남아시아 시장에서 구축해 온 운영 경험과 현지 네트워크를 바탕으로 지역 스타트업이 더 넓은 투자자 네트워크와 접점을 확보하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다.
더인벤션랩은 2018년 베트남 시장에 진출한 이후 호치민 현지 법인을 중심으로 스타트업 생태계와 협력 관계를 이어왔다. 베트남 스타트업과 투자자 정보를 제공하는 데이터 플랫폼 ‘Startup VN’을 운영하며 현지 창업 생태계의 정보 접근성을 높이는 활동도 진행해 왔다.
이와 함께 더인벤션랩은 ‘Startup Interviews’ 콘텐츠 시리즈를 새롭게 선보일 예정이다. 해당 콘텐츠는 유망 창업가와 혁신적인 비즈니스 모델을 소개해 베트남 스타트업 생태계의 성장 가능성과 역동성을 글로벌 시장에 알리는 것을 목표로 한다.

This collaboration was forged through Capital JDI's "Capital JDI Office Hours" program, which targets early-stage startups in Southeast Asia. This program, designed to allow startup teams to communicate directly with investors and industry experts, is gaining traction within the Southeast Asian startup community amidst the increasingly selective investment landscape. Building on this program, the two companies plan to gradually expand their mid- to long-term collaboration.
Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to strengthen network connections within the startup ecosystem, expand information exchange, and increase opportunities for connections between startup teams, investors, and experts. Furthermore, they plan to jointly pursue various support activities to address the intensifying competition for funding in the investment market and the barriers faced when entering overseas markets.
This collaboration is expected to provide an opportunity for regional startups to secure access to a broader investor network, leveraging The Invention Lab's operational experience and local network in Southeast Asian markets, including Vietnam.
Since entering the Vietnamese market in 2018, The Invention Lab has maintained a collaborative relationship with the startup ecosystem, centered around its local branch in Ho Chi Minh City. The company also operates "Startup VN," a data platform providing information on Vietnamese startups and investors, and has been working to increase access to information within the local startup ecosystem.
In addition, The Invention Lab will launch a new content series, "Startup Interviews." This series aims to showcase promising entrepreneurs and innovative business models, highlighting the growth potential and dynamism of Vietnam's startup ecosystem to the global market.

L'Invention Lab a annoncé avoir signé un partenariat avec la société de capital-risque Capital JDI, basée à Singapour, afin de collaborer au soutien des startups en Asie du Sud-Est, notamment au Vietnam.
Cette collaboration a vu le jour grâce au programme « Capital JDI Office Hours » de Capital JDI, destiné aux jeunes entreprises innovantes d'Asie du Sud-Est. Ce programme, conçu pour permettre aux équipes de startups d'échanger directement avec des investisseurs et des experts du secteur, gagne en popularité au sein de l'écosystème des startups d'Asie du Sud-Est, dans un contexte d'investissement de plus en plus sélectif. Fortes de ce succès, les deux entreprises envisagent d'étendre progressivement leur collaboration à moyen et long terme.
Grâce à cette collaboration, les deux entreprises prévoient de renforcer leurs réseaux au sein de l'écosystème des startups, d'élargir les échanges d'informations et de multiplier les occasions de rencontres entre les équipes de startups, les investisseurs et les experts. Elles envisagent également de mener conjointement diverses actions de soutien afin de faire face à la concurrence accrue pour le financement sur le marché des investissements et aux obstacles rencontrés lors de l'entrée sur les marchés étrangers.
Cette collaboration devrait offrir aux jeunes entreprises régionales l'opportunité d'accéder à un réseau d'investisseurs plus large, en tirant parti de l'expérience opérationnelle et du réseau local de The Invention Lab sur les marchés d'Asie du Sud-Est, notamment au Vietnam.
