위로보틱스(WIRobotics, 공동대표 이연백·김용재)는 Amazon Web Services(AWS) Startups와 NVIDIA Inception, MassRobotics가 운영하는 글로벌 프로그램 ‘Physical AI Fellowship’ 2기 참가 기업으로 선정됐다고 13일 밝혔다. 해당 프로그램은 높은 잠재력을 가진 로보틱스 스타트업이 Physical AI 솔루션을 개발·고도화하고 실제 환경에서 적용 가능성을 검증할 수 있도록 지원한다.
2025년 가을 1기 프로그램에 이어 진행되는 2026년 2기에는 농업, 건설, 재생에너지, 산업 자동화, 리테일·물류, 로보틱스 데이터 인프라, 원격조작, 휴머노이드 로봇 등 다양한 분야의 9개 Physical AI 스타트업이 선정됐다. 위로보틱스는 이 중 유일한 휴머노이드 로봇 기업으로 포함됐다.
프로그램 참가 기업은 기술 지원, 컴퓨팅 리소스, Go-to-Market 기회를 제공받는다. 특히 AWS Generative AI Innovation Center의 전문가 지원과 AWS 크레딧, NVIDIA Isaac 및 Cosmos 기반 Physical AI 스택, MassRobotics의 테스트베드와 글로벌 커뮤니티 네트워크 활용이 가능하다. 이를 통해 위로보틱스는 고도 조작 능력과 AI 기반 물리적 상호작용 기술을 결합한 휴머노이드 로봇 개발을 더욱 고도화할 계획이다.
위로보틱스는 이번 Fellowship을 활용해 산업, 물류, 서비스 환경에서 휴머노이드 로봇 시스템 성능을 검증하고 실용화 가능성을 높일 예정이다. 김용재 공동대표는 “유일한 휴머노이드 로봇 기업으로 선정되어 Physical AI 기술과 당사 AI 역량을 결합해 새로운 가능성을 탐색하는 기회가 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.
선정 기업은 약 20만 달러 규모 AWS 크레딧과 함께 기술 지원을 받으며, NVIDIA Inception 프로그램을 통해 무료 교육, 할인 혜택, 하드웨어·소프트웨어 지원, 워크숍 참여 기회를 제공받는다. 프로그램은 AWS와 NVIDIA, MassRobotics 주요 행사에서의 쇼케이스로 마무리되며, AWS re:Invent 2026 행사에도 포함된다.
이번 프로그램 참여는 글로벌 로보틱스 기술 개발과 휴머노이드 AI 솔루션 상용화에 대한 업계 관심을 반영한다.

WE Robotics Selected as Participant for 2nd Global Physical AI Fellowship
WIRobotics (Co-CEOs Yeon-baek Lee and Yong-jae Kim) announced on the 13th that it has been selected as a participant in the second cohort of the 'Physical AI Fellowship,' a global program operated by Amazon Web Services (AWS) Startups, NVIDIA Inception, and MassRobotics. The program supports robotics startups with high potential to develop and advance Physical AI solutions and verify their applicability in real-world environments.
Following the first program in the fall of 2025, nine Physical AI startups from various fields including agriculture, construction, renewable energy, industrial automation, retail and logistics, robotics data infrastructure, remote operation, and humanoid robots were selected for the second program in 2026. Wiro Robotics was included as the only humanoid robot company among them.
Participating companies in the program receive technical support, computing resources, and Go-to-Market opportunities. In particular, they can utilize expert support from the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, AWS credits, a Physical AI stack based on NVIDIA Isaac and Cosmos, and MassRobotics' testbeds and global community network. Through this, Wiro Robotics plans to further advance the development of humanoid robots that combine high-level manipulation capabilities with AI-based physical interaction technology.
Wiro Robotics plans to utilize this Fellowship to verify the performance of its humanoid robot systems in industrial, logistics, and service environments and enhance their potential for practical application. Co-CEO Kim Yong-jae stated, "Being selected as the sole humanoid robot company will be an opportunity to explore new possibilities by combining Physical AI technology with our company's AI capabilities."
Selected companies receive technical support along with approximately $200,000 in AWS credits, and are provided with free training, discounts, hardware and software support, and opportunities to participate in workshops through the NVIDIA Inception program. The program culminates in showcases at major events hosted by AWS, NVIDIA, and MassRobotics, and is also included in AWS re:Invent 2026.
Participation in this program reflects the industry's interest in global robotics technology development and the commercialization of humanoid AI solutions.

WIRobotics (co-PDG Yeon-baek Lee et Yong-jae Kim) a annoncé le 13 avoir été sélectionnée pour participer à la deuxième promotion du programme « Physical AI Fellowship », un programme international piloté par Amazon Web Services (AWS) Startups, NVIDIA Inception et MassRobotics. Ce programme soutient les jeunes entreprises de robotique à fort potentiel pour développer et faire progresser des solutions d'intelligence artificielle physique et vérifier leur applicabilité en conditions réelles.
Suite au premier programme à l'automne 2025, neuf startups spécialisées en intelligence artificielle physique et issues de divers secteurs, dont l'agriculture, la construction, les énergies renouvelables, l'automatisation industrielle, le commerce de détail et la logistique, l'infrastructure de données robotiques, l'opération à distance et les robots humanoïdes, ont été sélectionnées pour le deuxième programme en 2026. Wiro Robotics était la seule entreprise de robots humanoïdes parmi elles.
Les entreprises participant au programme bénéficient d'un soutien technique, de ressources informatiques et d'opportunités de commercialisation. Elles peuvent notamment profiter de l'expertise du Centre d'innovation en IA générative d'AWS, de crédits AWS, d'une plateforme d'IA physique basée sur NVIDIA Isaac et Cosmos, ainsi que des bancs d'essai et du réseau mondial de MassRobotics. Grâce à ce programme, Wiro Robotics prévoit de faire progresser le développement de robots humanoïdes combinant des capacités de manipulation avancées et une technologie d'interaction physique basée sur l'IA.
Wiro Robotics prévoit d'utiliser cette bourse pour vérifier les performances de ses systèmes de robots humanoïdes dans les environnements industriels, logistiques et de services, et pour accroître leur potentiel d'application pratique.
