중고거래 플랫폼 중고나라(대표 최인욱)가 기존 최대 투자사인 유진자산운용으로부터 추가 투자를 받았다고 17일 밝혔다. 투자 금액은 공개되지 않았다.
이번 투자는 2021년 유진자산운용의 중고나라 인수 이후 이루어진 추가 투자로, 중고나라의 최근 사업 성과와 향후 성장 가능성이 반영된 결정으로 풀이된다.
중고나라는 지난해부터 추진한 ‘안심보장 프로젝트’를 통해 거래 구조를 개편하고, 안심결제를 기본으로 적용하며 앱 중심의 안전 정책을 시행했다. 이러한 조치로 이용자 기반이 확대되고 플랫폼 활성화와 수익성 개선이 동시에 진행됐다.
실제 지난해 4분기 중고나라 앱의 평균 월간활성이용자수(MAU)는 전년 대비 약 1.5배 증가했고, 결제 수수료 매출은 약 3.1배 늘었다. 이를 바탕으로 올해 1~2월 영업이익 기준으로 월간 손익분기점(BEP)을 연속 달성하며 흑자 흐름을 이어가고 있다.
중고나라는 이번 투자를 활용해 기술·보안 역량 강화, 운영 효율화, 서비스 고도화 등 사업 전반을 확대할 계획이다.
유진자산운용 측은 “중고나라는 축적된 사용자 데이터와 거래 정보를 기반으로 안심결제 중심의 수익 모델을 안정화시켰다”며 “이번 변화가 실질적 성과로 이어지고 있으며 성장 잠재력도 충분하다”고 평가했다.
최인욱 대표는 “이번 추가 투자를 통해 사업 전략과 성장 가능성을 다시 한번 인정받았다”며 “앞으로 플랫폼 경쟁력을 더욱 강화해 중고거래 시장의 표준 플랫폼으로 자리매김하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 최근 중고거래 플랫폼들은 안전 결제와 사용자 편의성을 강화하며 거래 신뢰도 제고와 수익성 확대 전략을 적극 추진하고 있다.

Joonggonara Secures Additional Investment from Eugene Asset Management

Eugene Asset Management stated, “Junggonara has stabilized a revenue model centered on secure payments based on accumulated user data and transaction information,” adding, “This change is leading to tangible results, and there is sufficient growth potential.”
CEO Choi In-wook stated, “Through this additional investment, our business strategy and growth potential have been recognized once again,” adding, “We will further strengthen our platform competitiveness to establish ourselves as the standard platform for the second-hand trading market.”
Meanwhile, recently, second-hand trading platforms are actively pursuing strategies to enhance transaction reliability and expand profitability by strengthening secure payment systems and user convenience.

チェ・インウク代表は「今回の追加投資を通じて事業戦略と成長の可能性を再び認められた」とし「今後、プラットフォーム競争力をさらに強化して中古取引市場の標準プラットフォームとして位置づける」と明らかにした。
一方、最近の中古取引プラットフォームは安全決済とユーザー利便性を強化し、取引信頼度の向上と収益性拡大戦略を積極的に推進している。

Joonggonara obtient un investissement supplémentaire d'Eugene Asset Management
La plateforme de vente de biens d'occasion Joonggonara (PDG : Choi In-wook) a annoncé le 17 avoir reçu un nouvel investissement de son principal investisseur actuel, Eugene Asset Management. Le montant de cet investissement n'a pas été divulgué.
Cet investissement est un investissement supplémentaire réalisé suite à l'acquisition de Joonggonara par Eugene Asset Management en 2021, et est interprété comme une décision reflétant les performances commerciales récentes de Joonggonara et son potentiel de croissance future.
Grâce au « Projet de garantie de sécurité » lancé l'an dernier, Joonggonara a restructuré son système de transactions, adopté le paiement sécurisé par défaut et mis en œuvre des politiques de sécurité axées sur l'application. Ces mesures ont permis d'accroître le nombre d'utilisateurs et d'améliorer simultanément la revitalisation et la rentabilité de la plateforme.
En effet, au quatrième trimestre de l'année dernière, le nombre moyen d'utilisateurs actifs mensuels (UAM) de l'application Joonggonara a été multiplié par 1,5 environ par rapport à l'année précédente, et les revenus issus des frais de paiement ont été multipliés par 3,1 environ. Grâce à ces résultats, la société a maintenu sa rentabilité en atteignant le seuil de rentabilité mensuel (SRM) en termes de résultat d'exploitation pendant deux mois consécutifs, en janvier et février de cette année.
Joonggonara prévoit de tirer parti de cet investissement pour développer son activité globale, notamment en renforçant ses capacités technologiques et de sécurité, en améliorant son efficacité opérationnelle et en optimisant ses services.
Eugene Asset Management a déclaré : « Junggonara a stabilisé un modèle de revenus axé sur des paiements sécurisés basés sur les données utilisateur et les informations transactionnelles accumulées », ajoutant : « Ce changement conduit à des résultats tangibles et présente un potentiel de croissance suffisant. »

Parallèlement, les plateformes de commerce de seconde main mettent en œuvre depuis peu des stratégies visant à améliorer la fiabilité des transactions et à accroître leur rentabilité en renforçant la sécurité des systèmes de paiement et en améliorant le confort des utilisateurs.
