South Korea’s performance-based mobile ad network IGAWorks announced today that it established IGAWorks Japan in Tokyo.

Based in Seoul, South Korea, IGAWorks claims it is the largest performance-based ad network in the country, covering 90% of the country’s performance ad traffic with 24 million active users ( including 16 million mobile gamers) in its network. It’s flagship ad solution is adPOPcorn. The company offers ad products based on cost-per-install, cost-per-engagement, cost-per-action, and cost-per-engagement. One month ago IGAWorks released AdBrix, a mobile tracking and analytics tool.

The company is an official partner of some of Asia’s largest mobile game platforms such as KakaoTalk and Netmarble. IGAWorks’ clients include GREE, WeMade Entertainment, Neowiz Games, Mobage, DeNA, SK Planet, NHN, CJ E&M, Com2Us, Nexon, and the Government of Republic of Korea.

Now with Japan in its portfolio, the company hopes to attract more app developers from North America and Europe who want to promote their apps in major Asian app markets such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
