서울창조경제혁신센터(센터장 이영근)는 2015년 센터 개소 이후 첫 번째 펀드를 결성했다고 밝혔다. 이번에 결성된 펀드는 ‘서울창경-베터 핀테크 투자조합 1호’로, 함께 펀드를 운용할 공동운용사는 설립 2년 내 100억 원 이상의 운용자산 실적을 달성한 ‘베터 그라운드’이다. 결성된 투자조합의 만기는 5년이며 IPO를 Exit 목적으로 하는 프로젝트 펀드이다.
해당 펀드의 투자대상 기업은 핀테크 스타트업인 ‘신트노트’이다. 이 기업은 중고매매 등 대인간 현금거래가 주로 이루어지는 분야에서 현금을 보유하고 있지 않은 상황에서도 신용카드를 통한 즉각적 현금 송금을 가능하게 하는 서비스인 ‘Thanks QR’을 제공하고 있다.
결성된 펀드의 운용은 서울창조경제혁신센터 투자운영실(실장 지정우)에서 담당하고 있다. 지정우 실장은 “현재 벤처투자 시장이 혹한기 상태이고 펀드 투자 레코드가 없는 서울센터에서 처음 시도하는 펀드 조성이 순조롭지 않을 것이라는 전망이 많았다. 하지만 조성 4개월 만에 서울센터의 1호 펀드를 결성하였고 2호, 3호 펀드도 순차적으로 클로징이 예정되어 있는 만큼 새해에도 신규 투자조합 조성과 잠재력 있는 스타트업 발굴을 위해 더욱 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
그리고 서울창조경제혁신센터 이영근 센터장은 “서울센터가 창업자와 스타트업을 위한 펀드를 조성하고 벤처투자 활동을 늘려나가는 것은 창조경제혁신센터의 본질적인 역할이다. 새해에 서울센터는 투자기관으로 본격적인 역할을 수행하고, 현재 침체된 벤처투자 시장에서 더 규모있는 펀드를 조성하여, 우수한 스타트업들이 적시에 자금을 지원 받을 수 있도록 힘 쓰겠다”고 전했다.

Seoul Center Launches "Seoul Changgyeong-Better Fintech Investment Fund No. 1"
The Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (Director Lee Young-geun) announced the formation of its first fund since its launch in 2015. The newly formed fund, dubbed "Seoul Changgyeong-Better Fintech Investment Association No. 1," will be managed jointly by Better Ground, which achieved over KRW 10 billion in assets under management within two years of its establishment. The investment association, with a five-year maturity, is a project fund aimed at an IPO exit.
The fund's target company is the fintech startup "Sintnote." This company offers "Thanks QR," a service that enables instant cash transfers via credit card even when cash isn't readily available in areas where cash transactions, such as secondhand goods sales, are primarily conducted face-to-face.
The newly established fund is being managed by the Investment Operations Office (Director Ji-Woo Jeong) of the Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation. Director Ji-Woo Jeong stated, "The venture capital market is currently experiencing a severe downturn, and many predicted that the Seoul Center's first fund launch, with no prior investment track record, would be challenging. However, we have successfully established our first fund within four months of launch, and with our second and third funds scheduled to close sequentially, we will continue to work diligently to establish new investment partnerships and discover promising startups in the new year."
Lee Young-geun, Director of the Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, said, "The Seoul Center's essential role is to establish funds for entrepreneurs and startups and to expand its venture investment activities. In the new year, the Seoul Center will fully fulfill its role as an investment institution, creating larger funds in the currently stagnant venture investment market, and striving to ensure that outstanding startups receive timely funding."

ソウルセンター、「ソウル昌慶-ベッターフィンテック投資組合1号」ファンド結成
ソウル創造経済革新センター（センター長イ・ヨングン）は２０１５年のセンター開所以後、初のファンドを結成したと明らかにした。今回結成されたファンドは「ソウル昌慶-ベッターフィンテック投資組合1号」で、共にファンドを運用する共同運用会社は設立2年内に100億ウォン以上の運用資産実績を達成した「ベッターグラウンド」だ。結成された投資組合の満期は5年であり、IPOをExit目的とするプロジェクトファンドである。
該当ファンドの投資対象企業はフィンテックスタートアップの「シントノート」だ。同企業は、中古売買など、対人現金取引が主に行われる分野で現金を保有していない状況でも、クレジットカードによる即時現金送金を可能にするサービス「Thanks QR」を提供している。
結成されたファンドの運用はソウル創造経済革新センター投資運営室（実装指定宇）で担当している。指定宇室長は「現在ベンチャー投資市場が厳しい期状態でファンド投資レコードがないソウルセンターで初めて試みるファンドの造成が順調ではないという見通しが多かった。だが、造成4ヶ月ぶりにソウルセンターの1号ファンドを結成し、2号、3号ファンドも新しく組合投資と順次クロージング潜在力のあるスタートアップ発掘のためにさらに努力する」と明らかにした。
そしてソウル創造経済革新センターイ・ヨングンセンター長は「ソウルセンターが創業者とスタートアップのためのファンドを造成し、ベンチャー投資活動を増やしていくのは創造経済革新センターの本質的な役割だ。適時に資金を支えることができるように努力する」と伝えた。

首尔中心推出“首尔昌京-Better金融科技投资基金1号”
首尔创意经济与创新中心（主任：李英根）宣布成立自2015年成立以来的首支基金。这支名为“首尔昌京-Better金融科技投资协会1号”的新基金将由Better Ground共同管理。Better Ground在成立两年内管理的资产规模已超过100亿韩元。该投资协会的期限为五年，是一支旨在实现IPO退出的项目基金。

Le Centre de Séoul lance le « Fonds d'investissement n° 1 pour la fintech de Séoul Changgyeong »
Le Centre de Séoul pour l'économie créative et l'innovation (dirigé par Lee Young-geun) a annoncé la création de son premier fonds depuis son lancement en 2015. Ce nouveau fonds, baptisé « Seoul Changgyeong-Better Fintech Investment Association No. 1 », sera géré conjointement par Better Ground, qui a atteint plus de 10 milliards de wons d'actifs sous gestion en seulement deux ans. Ce fonds d'investissement, d'une durée de cinq ans, est un fonds de projet visant une introduction en bourse.
L'entreprise ciblée par le fonds est la startup fintech « Sintnote ». Cette société propose « Thanks QR », un service qui permet des transferts d'argent instantanés par carte de crédit même lorsque l'argent liquide n'est pas facilement disponible dans les zones où les transactions en espèces, telles que la vente de biens d'occasion, sont principalement effectuées en face à face.
Le nouveau fonds est géré par le Bureau des opérations d'investissement (directeur : Ji-Woo Jeong) du Centre de Séoul pour l'économie créative et l'innovation.
