유디엠텍은 자사의 ‘기계어처리 기반 통합디지털제조 플랫폼’이 2024년 하반기 산업통상자원부 지원 ‘산업협력분야 절충교역 추천대상’에 선정됐다고 6일 밝혔다.
절충교역은 국가 간 대규모 무기 거래에서 구매국이 자국의 경제적 이익을 얻기 위해 판매국에게 기술이전, 현지 생산, 투자 등 일정한 의무를 요구하는 형태의 교역이다.
산업통상자원부는 국방절충교역 대상 품목이 군수품에서 산업부 장관이 추천하는 일반물자로 확대됨에 따라 항공우주, 전기전자, AI 등 첨단전략산업 분야의 민·군 겸용 품목에서 추천대상을 선정하여 관리하며 절충교역 대상 국외업체에게 홍보와 수출상담회 등 기회를 제공하고 있다.
절충교역 추천대상은 ▲기술의 우수성 ▲적합성 ▲업체 역량 ▲수출 파급효과 ▲정책적 부합성 등을 평가하여 후보대상을 선정하고 산업통상자원부 실무위원회 심의를 거쳐 최종 대상으로 선정되어 등록 및 관리되며 방위사업청에 추천된다.
유디엠텍은 ‘기계어처리 기반 통합디지털제조 플랫폼’이 전통적인 민간 제조산업 뿐 아니라 자동화 시스템을 사용하는 군수 분야의 예측 유지보수나 자동화된 체계의 이상탐지 및 원인 파악 등에 활용이 가능하여 관련 미국 방위산업 업체와 미팅을 통해 협력방안을 논의 중이며 인증 및 보안체계 확보에 만전을 가하고 있다.

The target for offset trade recommendations is selected as a candidate by evaluating ▲ technological excellence ▲ suitability ▲ company capabilities ▲ export ripple effects ▲ policy conformity, etc., and after deliberation by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's working committee, the final target is selected, registered, and managed, and recommended to the Defense Acquisition Program Administration.
