비트센싱(bitsensing)의 김의철 부사장이 국가 ITS(지능형 교통 시스템) 기술 발전과 글로벌 시장 진출 확대에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 국토교통부 장관 표창을 수상했다고 8일 밝혔다.
김의철 부사장은 비트센싱의 글로벌 ITS 사업부를 이끌며, 비트센싱이 개발한 카메라와 레이더 융합 센서인 티모스(TIMOS)와 이를 기반으로 한 ITS 통합 솔루션 트랙사이트(TraXight)의 글로벌 시장 진출을 주도해왔다. 특히 지난 8월에는 비트센싱의 티모스 솔루션이 조달청 우수제품으로 선정됐다.
트랙사이트는 티모스 센서와의 최적 호환성을 바탕으로 도시 교통 문제를 혁신적으로 해결할 수 있는 ITS 통합 솔루션으로, 국토교통부의 K-City 네트워크 프로젝트를 통해 이탈리아 베로나시의 포르타 누오바 교차로에 구축을 완료했으며, 현재 AI 시뮬레이션을 통한 교통 혼잡도 개선을 추진하고 있다. 또한 트랙사이트는 혁신적인 기술력을 인정받아 CES 2025 스마트 시티 부문 혁신상 수상자로 선정됐다.
비트센싱은 글로벌 ITS 사업 확장을 위해 김의철 부사장이 이끄는 전담 사업부를 신설하고, 세계 시장 진출을 적극 추진하고 있다. 김의철 부사장은 “이번 수상을 통해 비트센싱의 ITS 기술력을 인정받게 되어 매우 뜻깊다”며 “앞으로도 지속적인 기술 혁신과 글로벌 파트너십 강화를 통해 한국 ITS 기술의 세계화에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

Bitsensing announced on the 8th that Vice President Kim Ui-cheol received a commendation from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in recognition of his contributions to the development of national ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) technology and expansion into the global market.
Vice President Kim Ui-cheol leads Bitsensing's global ITS business unit, spearheading the global market entry of TIMOS, the company's camera and radar fusion sensor, and TraXight, its integrated ITS solution. Notably, in August, Bitsensing's TIMOS solution was selected as an excellent product by the Public Procurement Service.
TrackSight is an integrated ITS solution that innovatively addresses urban traffic issues based on optimal compatibility with Timos sensors. It was completed at the Porta Nuova intersection in Verona, Italy, through the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's K-City network project. Currently, it is working to improve traffic congestion through AI simulations. Furthermore, in recognition of its innovative technology, TrackSight was selected as a CES 2025 Innovation Award winner in the Smart City category.
To expand its global ITS business, Bitsensing has established a dedicated business division led by Vice President Kim Eui-cheol and is actively pursuing entry into the global market. Vice President Kim stated, "This award is deeply meaningful to recognize Bitsensing's ITS technological prowess. We will continue to contribute to the globalization of Korean ITS technology through continued technological innovation and strengthened global partnerships."

Bitsensing a annoncé le 8 que le vice-président Kim Ui-cheol avait reçu les félicitations du ministre du Territoire, des Infrastructures et des Transports en reconnaissance de sa contribution au développement de la technologie nationale des STI (Systèmes de transport intelligents) et à son expansion sur le marché mondial.
Le vice-président Kim Ui-cheol dirige la division mondiale STI de Bitsensing et pilote le lancement international de TIMOS, le capteur de fusion caméra-radar de l'entreprise, et de TraXight, sa solution STI intégrée. En août dernier, la solution TIMOS de Bitsensing a notamment été sélectionnée comme produit d'excellence par le Service des marchés publics.
TrackSight est une solution STI intégrée qui s'attaque de manière novatrice aux problèmes de circulation urbaine grâce à une compatibilité optimale avec les capteurs Timos. Déployée au carrefour de Porta Nuova à Vérone, en Italie, dans le cadre du projet de réseau K-City du ministère du Territoire, des Infrastructures et des Transports, elle contribue actuellement à fluidifier le trafic grâce à des simulations d'intelligence artificielle. Par ailleurs, en reconnaissance de sa technologie innovante, TrackSight a reçu le prix de l'innovation CES 2025 dans la catégorie « Ville intelligente ».
Afin de développer ses activités mondiales dans le domaine des STI, Bitsensing a créé une division dédiée, dirigée par son vice-président Kim Eui-cheol, et s'emploie activement à pénétrer le marché international. Le vice-président Kim a déclaré : « Ce prix est une reconnaissance précieuse de l'expertise technologique de Bitsensing en matière de STI.
