본 Pre-IPO에는 ㈜코오롱인베스트먼트, ㈜프로디지인베스트먼트가 참여해 마이크로원의 기술력과 성장 가능성을 높이 평가하며 약 67억원 규모의 투자금을 투입했다. 회사는 이를 통해 기관 투자 비중을 높였으며, 글로벌 환경 분야를 선도하기 위한 기반을 마련했다.
마이크로원은 고기능 분진필터, 소각로 제작 및 시공, 환경설비 분야 전문 업체다. 회사의 주요 제품으로는 배기가스 내 질소산화물(NOx)을 제거하는 고성능 필터 ‘PTFE(불소수지코팅막) 멤브레인’, 낮은 온도에서도 질소산화물을 효과적으로 저감하는 설비인 ‘저온 SCR(선택적 촉매 환원 설비)’, SCR 촉매를 도입해 여과 집진기에 추가 기능을 부여하는 ‘De-NOx 촉매필터’ 등이 있다. 부유 분진 제거를 통해 작업환경 내 위해요인을 저감하는 ‘Tripper Room’ 기술도 갖췄다.
