트래픽 및 리소스 관리 솔루션 기업 에스티씨랩 (대표 박형준)은 자사의 클라우드 효율화 솔루션인 웨이브오토스케일이 아마존웹서비스(AWS)의 관리형 쿠버네티스 서비스인 아마존 EKS(Elastic Kubernetes Service) 서비스 레디 프로그램(SRP) 파트너로 선정됐다고 22일 발표했다.
글로벌 클라우드 선도기업 AWS의 SRP는 특정 소프트웨어 제품이 AWS의 다양한 환경에서 원활하고 안정적으로 작동하는지를 검증하는 프로그램이다. AWS의 사전 검증을 통과했다는 것은 고객사들이 해당 제품을 신뢰할 수 있다는 의미다.
아마존 EKS 레디 프로그램에 국내 솔루션이 선정된 것은 웨이브오토스케일이 처음이다. 이를 통해 에스티씨랩은 AWS 파트너 네트워크의 ‘검증된(validated) 파트너’에서 ‘차별화된(differentiated) 파트너’로 한 단계 격상됐다.
AWS SRP 인증을 받기 위해서는 AWS 환경에서의 기술적 호환성과 AWS 파트너 솔루션 아키텍트의 철저한 기술 심사를 거쳐야 한다. 특히 ▲운영 우수성 ▲보안 ▲안정성 ▲성능 ▲비용 최적화 ▲지속 가능성의 6대 원칙을 충족해야 한다.
웨이브오토스케일은 쿠버네티스 클라우드 환경에서 오토스케일링 및 리소스 최적화 등 클라우드 네이티브 운영 자동화 솔루션이다. 머신러닝을 활용해 클라우드 기본 기능의 한계를 극복하고 리소스를 자동 조정함으로써 클라우드 인프라 관리 부담을 줄이고 비용 절감과 성능 최적화를 지원한다. 이러한 강점으로 AWS SRP 기술 심사에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
이번 인증으로 전 세계 AWS 아키텍트는 웨이브오토스케일을 서드파티(third party) 솔루션으로 고객에 소개할 수 있게 됐다. 웨이브오토스케일은 아마존 EKS 사용 기업의 쿠버네티스 운영 자동화를 지원해 리소스 효율을 극대화할 수 있도록 도우며, AWS 퍼블릭, 하이브리드 클라우드, 온프레미스, 엣지 쿠버네티스 등 다양한 인프라 구성에서 작동을 보장한다.

STC Lab Wave Autoscale Selected as Amazon EKS Ready Partner
