3D 기반 AI 영상 솔루션 ‘시네브이(CINEV)’를 개발한 시나몬은 5일 110억원 규모의 신규 투자를 유치했다고 밝혔다.
시나몬은 이번 투자에서 알토스벤처스와 새한창업투자가 참여했으며, 알토스벤처스는 기존 투자자로서 두 번째 투자를 진행했다. 시나몬은 2019년 창업 이후 AI와 3D 기술을 하이브리드 방식으로 활용하여 영상 제작 기술을 고도화해왔다. 이번에 개발한 시네브이는 유저가 입력한 스토리를 기반으로 가상의 3D 공간에서 AI 기술을 통해 영상을 구현하는 시스템이다. 사용자는 배우의 연기, 카메라 연출, 조명, 배경 등을 자유롭게 편집할 수 있어, 누구나 영화 감독처럼 영상을 제작할 수 있는 새로운 형태의 플랫폼을 제공한다.
시네브이는 3D 물리적 공간을 먼저 구축하고, 그 위에 캐릭터, 액션, 조명, 카메라 등을 개별적으로 구현하는 방식으로 기존 생성형 AI 영상 서비스의 일관성, 물리적 특성, 편집 기능에서 더 안정적이라는 평가를 받고 있다. 특히, 최근 글로벌 AI 업계에서는 물리적 환경과 상호작용을 고려하는 ‘피지컬 AI’ 모델이 주목받고 있으며, 시네브이도 이러한 방향성을 반영하여 확장성과 안정성을 갖춘 서비스를 제공하고 있다.
시나몬 관계자는 “이번 투자로 글로벌 AI 시장에서 경쟁할 수 있는 성장 동력을 확보하게 되어 기쁘다”며, “올 상반기 내 안정적으로 서비스를 론칭하고 시네브이만의 사용성과 편의성을 고객들에게 전달하는 데 집중할 것”이라고 말했다.
알토스벤처스 관계자는 “시나몬 팀은 3D 제작 노하우를 바탕으로 AI와 결합한 정교한 영상을 구현하며, 크리에이티브 제작자를 위한 도구를 개발했다. 시네브이는 향후 영상 제작과 콘텐츠 시장의 판도를 바꿀 수 있는 잠재력을 가지고 있어 이번 투자를 결정했다”고 밝혔다.
