위브가 자사의 라만분광기에 대해 유럽 통합 인증(CE)을 취득했다고 11일 밝혔다. 이번 인증을 받은 제품은 연구용 라만분광기 2종으로, 대표 모델인 ‘만타레이’와 ‘스팅레이’다.
‘만타레이’는 독일, 일본 등 시장 선도 국가의 제품에 필적하는 분해능과 다양한 렌즈 구경 옵션을 제공하며, 합리적인 가격으로 주목받고 있다. ‘스팅레이’는 고성능을 유지하면서도 휴대가 가능한 소형 시스템으로, 휴대성과 성능을 동시에 갖춘 제품이다. 위브는 독자 기술로 개발한 라만분광기를 소재, 에너지, 바이오 등 다양한 분야에 공급하며, 70여 개 연구 기관에서 활용 중이다.
위브는 이번 CE 인증을 기반으로 유럽 시장 진출을 본격화하고 있다. 현재 독일과 영국에서 대리점 계약을 완료했으며, 오는 3월 독일 뉘른베르크에서 열리는 건설 화학 소재 전시회인 ‘유럽코팅쇼(European Coatings Show)’에서 스팅레이 모델을 선보일 예정이다. 또한, 프랑스, 덴마크 등 나머지 유럽 국가들을 대상으로 연말까지 30개 이상의 공식 대리점을 확보할 계획이다.
주성빈 위브 대표는 “지난 십 년 동안 쌓아온 광분석 기술 경쟁력이 해외에서도 꾸준히 관심을 받았고, 성능과 효율 면에서 우수한 평가를 받았다”며, “글로벌 시장 진출을 본격화하게 되어 영광이며, 앞으로 연구용 라만분석기뿐만 아니라 공정 분석 분야에서도 저력을 보여줄 수 있는 대한민국 대표 광분석 기술 기업으로 거듭나겠다”고 말했다.
위브는 2014년부터 광학 기반의 연구 및 산업용 계측 장비를 개발해왔으며, 2016년부터는 자체 기술로 개발한 라만분광기를 국내 주요 대학과 연구 기관에 공급하기 시작했다. 2020년에는 마이크로 LED 검사 장비를 출시했으며, 올해 상반기에는 라만분광기 수출에 집중하고 있다. 이를 위해 아시아, 미국, 유럽 지역의 산업 장비 유통사와 파트너십을 확대하고 있다.

Weave Acquires CE Certification for Research Raman Spectrometer Lineup
Weave announced on the 11th that it has obtained the European Union Integrated Certification (CE) for its Raman spectrometers. The products that have received this certification are two research-use Raman spectrometers, the representative models being the 'Manta Ray' and the 'Sting Ray'.
'Mantaray' is attracting attention for its reasonable price, offering resolution and various lens aperture options that are comparable to products from leading countries such as Germany and Japan. 'Stingray' is a compact system that is portable while maintaining high performance, and is a product that has both portability and performance. Weave supplies Raman spectrometers developed with its own technology to various fields such as materials, energy, and bio, and is being used by about 70 research institutes.
Based on this CE certification, Weave is making full-fledged inroads into the European market. It has currently completed agency contracts in Germany and the UK, and will present the Stingray model at the European Coatings Show, a construction chemical materials exhibition to be held in Nuremberg, Germany in March. In addition, it plans to secure more than 30 official agencies by the end of the year for the remaining European countries, including France and Denmark.

Weve has been developing optical-based research and industrial measuring equipment since 2014, and has started supplying Raman spectrometers developed with its own technology to major domestic universities and research institutes since 2016. In 2020, it launched micro LED inspection equipment, and in the first half of this year, it is focusing on exporting Raman spectrometers. To this end, it is expanding partnerships with industrial equipment distributors in Asia, the United States, and Europe.

Weave a annoncé le 11 avoir obtenu la certification de conformité de l'Union européenne (CE) pour son spectromètre Raman. Les produits qui ont reçu cette certification sont deux spectromètres Raman destinés à la recherche, les modèles représentatifs étant le « Manta Ray » et le « Sting Ray ».
« Manta Ray » attire l'attention pour son prix raisonnable, offrant une résolution comparable aux produits des principaux pays tels que l'Allemagne et le Japon, et une variété d'options de diamètre d'objectif.
