중앙대학교(총장 박상규) 가상융합대학이 라오스의 문화유산을 담은 획기적인 XR 관광 콘텐츠 ‘2024 Attractive Laos’ 프로젝트의 시사회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.지난 2월 14일 오후 5시, 중앙대학교 310관 B211호 IM WE SPACE에서 진행된 이번 시사회에서는 프로젝트의 전반적인 결과 보고와 함께 혁신적인 360 웹사이트 및 XR 어플리케이션 시연이 이루어졌다.
본 프로젝트는 국내 대학 최초로 중앙대 가상융합대학이 라오스 현지기업 솔루텍 및 라오스국립대학 스타트업 학생들과 협력하여 진행한 혁신적인 시도이다. 지난 1월 5일부터 9일까지 라오스 현지에서 진행된 대규모 촬영을 통해 탓루앙 사원, 파투사이개선문, 시홈야시장, 블루라군 등 라오스의 대표 명소들을 최첨단 360도 카메라와 드론으로 담아내 실감나는 XR 콘텐츠로 구현했다.
촬영 이후 약 1달간의 후반 작업을 통해 360도 영상 편집, 사운드 믹싱, UI/UX 디자인 등 첨단 앱 개발 과정을 거쳐 최종 콘텐츠를 완성했다. 특히 이번 프로젝트는 한-라오스 양국 학생들의 실질적 협업을 통해 이루어낸 최초의 XR 관광 콘텐츠라는 점에서 큰 의미를 가진다.
중앙대 가상융합대학 위정현 학장은 “이번 프로젝트는 한국의 최첨단 XR기술과 라오스의 풍부한 문화유산을 결합한 획기적인 시도로 앞으로도 한국의 우수한 IT기술과 동남아시아의 매력을 접목한 혁신적인 협력 모델을 여러 국가로 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
한편 완성된 콘텐츠는 중앙대 가상융합대학 웹사이트를 통해 공개될 예정이며, 가상융합대학은 이를 시작으로 다양한 글로벌 문화유산을 첨단 XR 기술로 재현하는 혁신적인 프로젝트를 확대해 나갈 계획이다.

Chung-Ang University Virtual Convergence University, Korea-Laos Cooperation XR Tourism Content Preview Held
Chung-Ang University (President Park Sang-gyu) announced that its Virtual Convergence College held a preview of the project, “2024 Attractive Laos,” a groundbreaking XR tourism content that captures the cultural heritage of Laos. The preview, held at IM WE SPACE, B211, Building 310, Chung-Ang University at 5:00 PM on February 14, included a report on the overall results of the project along with a demonstration of an innovative 360 website and XR application.
This project is an innovative attempt that was carried out by Chung-Ang University’s Virtual Convergence College, the first of its kind in Korea, in collaboration with local Laotian company Solutech and startup students from the National University of Laos. Through large-scale filming conducted in Laos from January 5 to 9, representative landmarks of Laos, such as That Luang Temple, Patuxai Arch, Sihom Night Market, and Blue Lagoon, were captured using cutting-edge 360-degree cameras and drones, and implemented as realistic XR content.
After about a month of post-production following filming, the final content was completed through advanced app development processes such as 360-degree video editing, sound mixing, and UI/UX design. This project is particularly significant in that it is the first XR tourism content created through practical collaboration between students from Korea and Laos.
Dean Wi Jeong-Hyeon of Chung-Ang University’s College of Virtual Convergence said, “This project is a groundbreaking attempt that combines Korea’s cutting-edge XR technology with Laos’ rich cultural heritage. We plan to continuously expand this innovative cooperation model that combines Korea’s excellent IT technology and the charm of Southeast Asia to several countries in the future.”
Meanwhile, the completed content will be released through the Chung-Ang University Virtual Convergence University website, and starting with this, the Virtual Convergence University plans to expand innovative projects that reproduce various global cultural heritages using cutting-edge XR technology.

中央大学（総長パク・サンギュ）仮想融合大学がラオスの文化遺産を盛り込んだ画期的なXR観光コンテンツ「2024 Attractive Laos」プロジェクトの試写会を開催したと明らかにした。 360 WebサイトとXRアプリケーションのデモンストレーションが行われた。
本プロジェクトは国内大学で初めて中央大学仮想融合大学がラオス現地企業のソルテックおよびラオス国立大学のスタートアップ学生と協力して進めた革新的な試みだ。去る1月5日から9日までラオス現地で行われた大規模撮影を通じてタルアン寺院、パトゥサイ改門、シーホームナイト市場、ブルーラグーンなどラオスの代表スポットを最先端360度カメラとドローンで盛り込んで実感するXRコンテンツで具現した。
撮影後約1ヶ月間の後半作業を通じて、360度映像編集、サウンドミキシング、UI/UXデザインなど先端アプリ開発過程を経て最終コンテンツを完成した。特に今回のプロジェクトは、韓ラオス両国学生の実質的なコラボレーションを通じて成し遂げた最初のXR観光コンテンツという点で大きな意味を持つ。
中央大仮想融合大学ウィ・ジョンヒョン学長は「今回のプロジェクトは韓国の最先端のXR技術とラオスの豊かな文化遺産を組み合わせた画期的な試みで、今後も韓国の優秀なIT技術と東南アジアの魅力を融合した革新的な協力モデルを様々な国に持続的に拡大していく計画」と明らかにした。
一方、完成したコンテンツは中央大仮想融合大学のウェブサイトを通じて公開される予定であり、仮想融合大学はこれを皮切りに様々なグローバル文化遺産を先端XR技術で再現する革新的なプロジェクトを拡大していく計画だ。

韩国中央大学（校长朴尚圭）表示，该校虚拟融合学院举行了“2024魅力老挝”项目预演会，该项目是捕捉老挝文化遗产的突破性XR旅游内容。预演会于2月14日下午5点在中央大学310栋B211 IM WE SPACE举行，除了报告项目总体成果外，还演示了创新型360网站和XR应用程序。

同时，完成的内容将通过中央大学虚拟融合大学网站发布，虚拟融合大学计划以此为起点，扩大利用尖端XR技术重现各种全球文化遗产的创新项目。

Université de convergence virtuelle de l'Université Chung-Ang, aperçu du contenu de la coopération Corée-Laos sur le tourisme XR
L'Université Chung-Ang (Président Park Sang-gyu) a annoncé que son Collège de convergence virtuelle a organisé une avant-première du projet « 2024 Laos attrayant », un contenu touristique XR révolutionnaire qui capture le patrimoine culturel du Laos. L'avant-première, qui s'est tenue à 17h00 le 14 février à 17h00 au IM WE SPACE, B211, bâtiment 310, Université Chung-Ang, comprenait un rapport sur les résultats globaux du projet ainsi qu'une démonstration d'un site Web 360 innovant et d'une application XR.
Ce projet est une tentative innovante menée par le Chung-Ang University Virtual Convergence College, le premier du genre en Corée, en collaboration avec l'entreprise laotienne locale Soltech et des étudiants en démarrage de l'Université nationale du Laos. Grâce à un tournage à grande échelle réalisé au Laos du 5 au 9 janvier, des monuments représentatifs du Laos, notamment le temple That Luang, l'arc Patuxai, le marché nocturne de Sihom et le lagon bleu, ont été capturés à l'aide de caméras à 360 degrés et de drones de pointe, et mis en œuvre sous forme de contenu XR réaliste.
Après environ un mois de post-production après le tournage, le contenu final a été complété grâce à des processus de développement d'applications avancés tels que le montage vidéo à 360 degrés, le mixage sonore et la conception UI/UX. Ce projet est particulièrement important dans la mesure où il s’agit du premier contenu touristique XR créé grâce à une collaboration pratique entre des étudiants de Corée et du Laos.
Le doyen Wi Jeong-Hyeon de la faculté de convergence virtuelle de l’université Chung-Ang a déclaré : « Ce projet est une tentative révolutionnaire qui combine la technologie XR de pointe de la Corée avec le riche héritage culturel du Laos. Nous prévoyons d’étendre en permanence ce modèle de coopération innovant qui combine l’excellente technologie informatique de la Corée et le charme de l’Asie du Sud-Est à plusieurs pays à l’avenir. »
Entre-temps, le contenu finalisé sera publié sur le site Web de l'Université de convergence virtuelle de l'Université Chung-Ang, et à partir de là, l'Université de convergence virtuelle prévoit d'étendre des projets innovants qui reproduisent divers héritages culturels mondiaux en utilisant la technologie XR de pointe.
