Vision AI 전문기업 메사쿠어컴퍼니는 12일, 호스피탈리티 IT 솔루션 기업 산하정보기술과 안면인식 솔루션 공급 계약을 체결하고, 숙박업소에서 미성년자 혼숙 방지를 위한 신분 인증 시스템에 이를 적용한다고 밝혔다.
최근 국내 숙박업소에서 미성년자 숙박 시 불법 혼숙 사례가 지속적으로 발생하며 사회적 우려가 커지고 있다. 이에 따라 청소년 보호법 위반에 따른 숙박업소의 법적 책임 문제와 보안 취약점이 논란이 되고, 기존 신분증 확인 방식의 한계를 보완할 필요성이 제기되고 있다.
이에 메사쿠어컴퍼니와 산하정보기술은 AI 기반의 안면인식 기술을 적용해 보다 철저한 본인 확인 및 신분 인증 시스템을 도입할 계획이다. 이를 통해 숙박업소는 미성년자 혼숙을 사전 방지하고 법적 리스크를 줄일 수 있으며, 고객들에게는 보다 안전하고 편리한 숙박 환경을 제공할 예정이다.
메사쿠어컴퍼니는 이번 계약을 통해 자사의 AI 안면인식 솔루션을 산하정보기술의 스마트 키오스크와 숙박 관리 시스템(PMS)과 연동하여 제공한다. 메사쿠어의 안면인식 기술은 빠른 인식 속도와 높은 정확도를 자랑하며, 숙박 고객의 신분증과 실제 얼굴을 실시간으로 비교해 본인 일치 여부를 확인한다.

Through this contract, Mesacure Company will provide its AI facial recognition solution in conjunction with Sanha Information Technology’s smart kiosk and property management system (PMS). Mesacure’s facial recognition technology boasts fast recognition speed and high accuracy, and compares the guest’s ID and actual face in real time to confirm whether they match.
Mesacure Company forecasts that the global digital-based identity verification market will grow to approximately KRW 150 trillion by 2030.
