랭귀지테크 전문 기업 업템포글로벌은 4년 연속 한국데이터산업진흥원(K-DATA)이 주관하는 ‘2025년 데이터 바우처 지원사업’의 공급기업으로 선정되어 수요기업을 모집한다고 14일 밝혔다.
‘데이터 바우처 지원사업’은 데이터 기반 비즈니스 혁신과 신규 제품·서비스 개발을 필요로 하는 기업을 대상으로, 기업당 최대 4,500만 원 상당의 데이터 활용 지원을 제공하는 프로그램이다.
업템포글로벌은 2015년 다국어 번역 및 현지화 서비스로 출발하여, 축적된 언어 전문성을 바탕으로 디지털 전환(DX)과 인공지능(AI) 기술을 결합한 혁신 솔루션을 제공하고 있다. 이를 통해 글로벌 비즈니스 운영 및 제작 과정을 간소화하고 있으며, 지난 CES 2025에서는 자사의 ‘Language-Tech’ 솔루션을 공개해 다국어 콘텐츠 제작 및 실시간 커뮤니케이션 지원에 뛰어난 성능을 입증했다.
회사는 또한 AI 자동 번역 및 글로벌 커뮤니케이션 솔루션 개발에 있어, 오랜 기간 축적된 전문 분야 코퍼스 데이터베이스를 활용하고 있다. 이를 바탕으로 각 지원사업 분야에 적합한 데이터를 수요기업의 요구에 맞게 제공하며, 언어 기반 텍스트 데이터부터 IT 기반 AI 연계 데이터까지 폭넓은 데이터 수집 및 가공 서비스를 지원한다.
업템포글로벌 관계자는 “AI 언어 솔루션을 통한 글로벌 커뮤니케이션 혁신이 우리의 핵심 강점”이라며, 이번 데이터 바우처 사업이 중소기업과 대기업이 데이터 기반 비즈니스 혁신을 실현하는 중요한 계기가 될 것이라고 말했다. 또한, 업템포글로벌은 데이터 바우처 외에도 수출바우처, 제조혁신, 관광혁신 바우처, 게임더하기 사업 등 다양한 정부 지원 프로그램과 연계하여 국내 기업들의 글로벌 혁신 성장을 적극 지원할 계획이다.
2025년 데이터 바우처 지원사업의 수요기업 모집은 3월 14일까지 진행되며, 사업 기간은 6월 1일부터 11월 30일까지다. 총 207억 원 규모의 예산이 편성되었으며, 460건의 바우처가 지원된다. 수요기업은 데이터바우처 포털과 사업관리시스템(PMS)을 통해 신청할 수 있다.

Through this, it is simplifying global business operations and production processes, and at CES 2025, it unveiled its 'Language-Tech' solution, demonstrating its outstanding performance in supporting multilingual content production and real-time communication.
The company also utilizes a specialized corpus database accumulated over a long period of time in developing AI automatic translation and global communication solutions. Based on this, it provides data suitable for each support business field according to the needs of the demand company, and supports a wide range of data collection and processing services, from language-based text data to IT-based AI-linked data.
An Uptempo Global official said, “Global communication innovation through AI language solutions is our core strength,” and added that this data voucher project will be an important opportunity for small and medium-sized businesses and large corporations to realize data-based business innovation. In addition, Uptempo Global plans to actively support the global innovation growth of domestic companies by linking with various government support programs such as export vouchers, manufacturing innovation vouchers, tourism innovation vouchers, and the Game Plus project in addition to the data voucher.
The recruitment of demand companies for the 2025 Data Voucher Support Project will be held until March 14, and the project period will be from June 1 to November 30. A total budget of 20.7 billion won has been allocated, and 460 vouchers will be supported. Demand companies can apply through the Data Voucher Portal and Project Management System (PMS).
