AI 기반 자동화 솔루션 전문기업 유디엠텍은 SK케미칼과 생성형 AI 기반 JSA(Job Safety Analysis, 작업 안전 분석) 자동화 시스템 도입 계약을 체결했다고 2일 밝혔다. 이번 계약을 통해 유디엠텍은 SK디스커버리와 SK케미칼이 공동 개발한 생성형 AI 기반 JSA 솔루션을 산업 현장에 적용하고 구축하게 된다. 또한 이번 구축사업을 시작으로 SK C&C와 협력하여 SK그룹 내 제조 계열사에 JSA 솔루션을 우선 적용하는 사업에 참여하게 된다.
유디엠텍은 향후 SK C&C의 디지털 SHE(Safety, Health, Environment, 안전 보건 환경) 플랫폼과 연계하여 SK그룹 주요 제조 사업장으로 JSA 솔루션 적용을 확대하고, 철강, 반도체, 중공업, 자동차, 2차전지, 식품, 건설업, 화학 산업 등 다양한 산업군으로도 적용 범위를 넓힐 예정이다.
JSA는 산업 현장에서 작업자의 안전을 보장하고 사고를 예방하기 위한 필수적인 절차지만, 기존의 JSA 작성 방식은 수작업에 의존하고 있어 작성 기준이 일정하지 않으며, 시간과 비용이 과다하게 소요되는 한계가 있었다. 이에 반해 유디엠텍의 JSA 자동화 시스템은 생성형 AI와 기계 학습(ML, Machine Learning) 기술을 적용해 각 공정과 산업군에 최적화된 JSA를 자동으로 생성할 수 있도록 설계됐다. 이를 통해 JSA 작성의 정확도가 향상되고, 실시간으로 변화하는 작업 환경에도 즉각 대응할 수 있는 스마트 솔루션을 제공할 수 있게 된다.
유디엠텍 관계자는 “AI 및 ML 기반 JSA 자동화 시스템을 도입하면 기존 JSA 대비 작성 시간이 50% 이상 단축되며, 실시간 분석을 통해 작업자의 안전을 효과적으로 보호할 수 있다”고 강조했다. 또한 이번 계약을 통해 “AI 기반 JSA 솔루션을 다양한 산업군으로 확대할 수 있는 중요한 전환점이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 덧붙였다.

UDM Tech and SK Chemicals Sign 'JSA Automation System Introduction Agreement'
UDM Tech , an AI-based automation solution specialist, announced on the 2nd that it signed a contract with SK Chemicals to introduce a generative AI-based JSA (Job Safety Analysis) automation system. In contrast, UDM Tech's JSA automation system is designed to automatically create JSA optimized for each process and industry group by applying generative AI and machine learning (ML) technology. This improves the accuracy of JSA writing and provides a smart solution that can immediately respond to the work environment that changes in real time.
A UDMTech official emphasized, “If we introduce an AI and ML-based JSA automation system, the writing time will be shortened by more than 50% compared to the existing JSA, and the safety of workers can be effectively protected through real-time analysis.” He added, “We expect this contract to be an important turning point that will allow us to expand our AI-based JSA solution to various industries.”
