차세대 4세대 하이브리드 신원인증 서비스(ID Block)와 글로벌 크로스보더 간편결제 서비스(Block Pay)를 개발 중인 크로스허브가 신용보증기금의 유망 스타트업 지원 프로그램인 ‘리틀펭귄’에 선정되어 10억 원의 자금 지원을 확보했다고 3일 밝혔다.
‘리틀펭귄’은 신용보증기금이 성장 가능성이 높은 스타트업을 발굴하여 자금과 투자 추천을 지원하는 대표 프로그램으로, 까다로운 심사와 높은 경쟁률로 잘 알려져 있다. 이번 선정으로 크로스허브는 자사의 기술력과 시장성을 인정받으며, 글로벌 시장 진출을 위한 중요한 발판을 마련하게 됐다.
크로스허브는 기존 DID(디지털 신원 인증) 기술을 고도화한 ‘4세대 하이브리드 신원인증 서비스’를 통해, 사용자가 본인의 정보를 선택적으로 공개하고 안전하게 통제할 수 있는 환경을 제공할 예정이다. 이를 바탕으로, 외국인 관광객과 글로벌 사용자들은 복잡한 절차 없이 간편하고 신뢰성 있게 신원을 인증하고, 동시에 결제까지 원스톱으로 처리할 수 있는 ‘IDBlock’과 ‘BlockPay’ 서비스를 이용할 수 있게 된다.
크로스허브는 특히 글로벌 간편결제 시장을 목표로, 일본, 베트남 등 아시아 주요 국가를 시작으로 현지 결제 플랫폼과의 연동을 추진하고 있으며, 해외 법인 설립도 진행 중이다. 이를 통해 현지 파트너십을 확대하고 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하여, 글로벌 시장에서의 경쟁력을 더욱 강화해 나갈 계획이다.
