한국피아이엠이 4일 코스닥 시장에 상장한다고 밝혔다. 상장 기념식에는 송준호 대표이사와 한국피아이엠 임직원, 주관사 IBK투자증권의 주요 관계자들이 참석했다.

이번 상장 자금은 MIM 기술의 적용 범위를 휴머노이드 로봇 분야와 티타늄 소재 신사업으로 확대하는 데 사용될 예정이다. 한국피아이엠은 티타늄 기반 MIM 기술을 확보하고, 이를 통해 휴머노이드 로봇의 핵심 부품인 감속기 소재 개발에 집중하고 있다.
한국피아이엠 관계자는 “설립 이후 지속적인 R&D를 통해 국내 MIM 분야에서 1위 기업으로 자리매김했다”며 “휴머노이드 로봇, 항공우주 등 첨단 산업에서의 초정밀 소재 수요 증가에 맞춰, 이번 상장을 계기로 기술 고도화에 박차를 가하고 글로벌 No.1 MIM 기업으로 도약할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
또한, 그는 “코스닥 상장을 기점으로 국내 티타늄 소재 제조라인과 IT·자율주행 양산 설비를 구축하며, 베트남 공장에서는 IT 전용 생산라인을 증설할 계획”이라며 “차별화된 기술력을 바탕으로 고부가가치 산업으로의 사업 다각화를 통해 매출과 이익의 동반 성장을 이뤄낼 것”이라고 강조했다.

He also emphasized, “Starting with the KOSDAQ listing, we plan to establish a domestic titanium material manufacturing line and IT/autonomous driving mass production facilities, and increase the IT-only production line at our Vietnam plant,” and “Based on our differentiated technological prowess, we will achieve both sales and profit growth through business diversification into high value-added industries.”
