스마트 오더 서비스 ‘테이블로’를 운영하는 (주)창업인(공동대표 장하일, 정재훈)이 지난 28일 열린 정기 주주총회에서 ‘소프트먼트(Softment Inc.)’로 사명 변경하고 공동대표 체제로 전환하는 안건을 의결했다고 밝혔다.
새로운 사명 소프트먼트(Softment)는 부드러움을 의미하는 ‘소프트(Soft)’와 지불을 뜻하는 ‘페이먼트(Payment)’를 합친 것으로, 소프트먼트만의 QR·NFC 솔루션을 통해 딱딱한 결제 시스템을 보다 부드럽고 사용자 친화적인 경험으로 전환하겠다는 의미를 담았다.
또한 소프트먼트는 결의에 따라 기존 장하일 대표와 함께 정재훈 전 부대표를 신임 공동대표로 선임, 두 명의 공동 대표이사를 중심으로 전자금융업 진출을 위한 경영 효율성을 극대화한다는 방침이다.
정재훈 대표는 소프트먼트의 공동 창업자로 2020년부터 플랫폼 운영 및 사업 총괄을 담당했으며, 전자금융업에 IT 기술을 결합한 것은 물론 지난해 소프트먼트의 전자지급결제대행(PG)업 라이선스 취득을 주도하는 등 경영 능력을 입증한 바 있다.
이번 사명 변경과 경영진 개편을 통해 소프트먼트는 주력 사업인 스마트 오더 서비스 ‘테이블로’의 시장 점유율 확대와 동시에 신규 사업인 오프라인 간편결제 시스템 개발에도 나서 전자금융 시장에서 서비스 경쟁력을 강화할 계획이다.
정재훈 소프트먼트 대표는 “새로운 사명과 경영 체제를 기반으로 테이블로의 기술력을 더욱 고도화시키고 핀테크 분야에서 성장을 이어갈 것”이라며 “혁신적인 금융 서비스를 제공해 고객 중심의 가치를 창출하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 창업인은 지난해 연간 거래액 200억 원을 돌파하며, 금융감독원으로부터 전자지급결제대행업(이하 PG업) 라이선스를 취득했다. 2023년 글로벌 액셀러레이터 스파크랩, CJ인베스트먼트, 마그나인베스트먼트로부터 23억 원 규모의 프리시리즈 A 투자를 유치한 데 이어 올해 효성벤처스로부터 시리즈 A 투자를 마무리했다.

Changin Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Ha-il Jang and Jae-hoon Jeong), which operates the smart ordering service 'Tablero', announced that at the regular shareholders' meeting held on the 28th, it was decided to change the company name to 'Softment Inc.' and transition to a co-CEO system.
The new mission, Softment, is a combination of the words ‘Soft’, meaning soft, and ‘Payment’, meaning payment, and contains the meaning of transforming the rigid payment system into a softer and more user-friendly experience through Softment’s own QR·NFC solutions.
In addition, Softment plans to appoint former Vice President Jeong Jae-hoon as new co-CEOs along with the existing CEO Jang Ha-il in accordance with the resolution, and plans to maximize management efficiency for entering the electronic finance industry centered around the two co-CEOs.
CEO Jaehoon Jeong is the co-founder of Softment and has been in charge of platform operations and overall business management since 2020. He has proven his management skills by combining IT technology with electronic finance and leading Softment’s acquisition of an electronic payment gateway (PG) business license last year.
Through this change of mission and management reorganization, Softment plans to expand the market share of its main business, the smart order service ‘Tablero’, while also developing a new business, the offline easy payment system, to strengthen its service competitiveness in the electronic finance market.
Softment CEO Jaehoon Jeong said, “Based on the new mission and management system, we will further advance Tablero’s technological capabilities and continue to grow in the fintech sector,” adding, “We will provide innovative financial services and create customer-centered value.”
Meanwhile, the founder surpassed 20 billion won in annual transaction volume last year and acquired an electronic payment agency (hereinafter referred to as PG business) license from the Financial Supervisory Service. Following the 2.3 billion won pre-series A investment from global accelerator SparkLabs, CJ Investment, and Magna Investment in 2023, the company completed the series A investment from Hyosung Ventures this year.

La nouvelle mission, Softment, est une combinaison des mots « Soft », qui signifie doux, et « Payment », qui signifie paiement, et contient le sens de transformer le système de paiement rigide en une expérience plus douce et plus conviviale grâce aux propres solutions QR·NFC de Softment.

Grâce à ce changement de mission et à cette réorganisation de la direction, Softment prévoit d'élargir la part de marché de son activité principale, le service de commande intelligent « Tablero », tout en développant une nouvelle activité, le système de paiement facile hors ligne, pour renforcer sa compétitivité de service sur le marché de la finance électronique.
Le PDG de Softment, Jaehoon Jeong, a déclaré : « Sur la base de la nouvelle mission et du nouveau système de gestion, nous allons encore faire progresser les capacités technologiques de Tablero et continuer à croître dans le secteur de la fintech », ajoutant : « Nous fournirons des services financiers innovants et créerons de la valeur centrée sur le client. »
Entre-temps, le fondateur a dépassé les 20 milliards de wons de volume de transactions annuel l'année dernière et a acquis une licence d'agence de paiement électronique (ci-après dénommée entreprise PG) auprès du Service de surveillance financière. Après l'investissement de 2,3 milliards de wons avant la série A de l'accélérateur mondial SparkLabs, CJ Investment et Magna Investment en 2023, la société a finalisé son investissement de série A auprès de Hyosung Ventures cette année.
