해양수산부가 주최하고 해양수산과학기술진흥원이 주관하며 ㈜엠와이소셜컴퍼니(MYSC)가 운영하는 ‘2025년 해양수산 액셀러레이팅 프로그램(EMA-MARINE)’이 해양수산 분야 스타트업 모집을 시작했다고 밝혔다.
선발기업들에게 제공되는 주요 프로그램으로는 해양수산 분야 및 산업 관련 특화교육, 민간기업 및 공공기관과 함께하는 B2B/B2G 오픈 이노베이션 밋업, 비즈니스 역량강화를 위한 다양한 컨설팅 등으로 구성되며, 해양수산 분야 및 임팩트 특화 액셀러레이터이자 투자사인 MYSC에서 기업별 맞춤형 자원연계 등이 있다.
또한 우수 참여기업에 대해서는 최대 1,500만 원의 사업화 자금 외에도 총 4억 원 이상의 MYSC 직접투자, 적극적인 후속투자 연계, 글로벌 시장 진출 기회가 제공될 예정이다.
참여 기업 모집은 4월 21일 오후 5시까지 진행되며, 모집 대상은 해양수산 분야에서 혁신과 지속가능성 측면에서 기여하고자 하는 예비창업자 및 창업 7년 이내의 해양수산 분야 스타트업이다. 프로그램 모집에 대한 자세한 내용은 EMA 홈페이지에서 살펴볼 수 있다.
MYSC는 약 1000억 원의 운용자산을 토대로 200건 이상의 투자를 집행한 액셀러레이터로서 해양수산 분야를 포함한 다양한 분야에서 스타트업 육성과 투자를 통해 산업 내 혁신과 활력을 더하고자 노력하고 있다. MYSC는 스타트업과 더 멀리 성장하겠다는 EMA(Extra-Mile Acceleration) 육성 철학을 바탕으로 해양수산 액셀러레이팅 프로그램 출범 이래 6년간 본 프로그램을 운영하며, 동 분야 스타트업에 약 40억 원의 직접 투자와 200억 원 이상의 후속투자를 연계하였다.
본 프로그램을 총괄하고 있는 MYSC의 강신일 부대표는 “AI 및 딥테크는 해양수산 분야에서도 혁신과 새로운 부가가치 창출의 원천이 되고 있다”며 “기술로 해양수산 분야를 혁신함과 동시에 지속가능한 환경·사회적 임팩트를 창출하는 새로운 플레이어의 출현을 기대하며, 본 프로그램을 통해 혁신적인 기업과 더불어 해양수산 산업의 성장과 도약의 계기가 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

MY Social Company, recruiting companies to participate in the '2025 Marine and Fisheries Acceleration Program'
The '2025 Marine and Fisheries Acceleration Program (EMA-MARINE),' hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, organized by the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology Promotion , and operated by MY Social Company (MYSC), announced that it has begun recruiting startups in the marine and fisheries sector.
The main programs provided to the selected companies include specialized education related to the marine and fisheries sector and industry, B2B/B2G open innovation meetups with private companies and public institutions, various consulting services to strengthen business capabilities, and customized resource linkages for each company by MYSC, an accelerator and investment company specializing in the marine and fisheries sector and impact.
In addition, excellent participating companies will be provided with up to 15 million won in commercialization funds, as well as direct investment from MYSC of over 400 million won, active follow-up investment links, and opportunities to enter the global market.
Recruitment for participating companies will be open until 5:00 PM on April 21, and the target of recruitment is prospective entrepreneurs and startups in the marine and fisheries sector who wish to contribute to innovation and sustainability in the marine and fisheries sector and have been in business for less than 7 years. MYSC is an accelerator that has executed over 200 investments based on approximately KRW 100 billion in operating assets. It strives to add innovation and vitality to the industry by fostering and investing in startups in various fields including the marine and fisheries sector. MYSC has operated the program for 6 years since the launch of the marine and fisheries accelerating program based on the EMA (Extra-Mile Acceleration) fostering philosophy of growing further with startups, and has linked approximately KRW 4 billion in direct investments and more than KRW 20 billion in follow-up investments to startups in the same field.
