클라우드 기반 교육 플랫폼 전문기업 ㈜소프트웨이즈(공동대표 박인규, 장재환)가 과학기술정보통신부가 주관하는 ‘2025년 중소기업 클라우드 서비스 보급·확산 사업’의 공급기업으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
‘2025년 중소기업 클라우드 서비스 보급·확산 사업’은 국내 클라우드 시장 활성화와 중소기업 경쟁력 강화를 목적으로 클라우드 도입 컨설팅 및 이용료 등을 종합적으로 지원하는 정부 사업이다.
선정된 수요기업은 기업별 업무환경과 디지털 전환 목표에 따라 맞춤형 클라우드 컨설팅과 전환 서비스, 서비스 이용료를 지원받을 수 있다. 일반지원 부문(232개 이상 기업)은 최대 1000만원, 집중지원 부문(20개 이상 기업)의 경우 최대 8000만원의 지원금을 받을 수 있다.
버추얼클래스는 시간과 장소에 제약 없이 인터넷 브라우저를 통해 고성능 소프트웨어를 실행할 수 있는 환경을 제공해 실습환경 구축이 어려운 온라인 교육과 고사양 PC가 필요한 오프라인 교육 모두에 활용 가능하다. 해당 서비스는 고성능 PC 전산실 구축 대비 약 87.5%의 비용 절감 효과가 있어 중소기업의 디지털 전환 비용 부담을 크게 줄일 수 있다.
특히 이번 사업을 통해 소프트웨이즈의 수요기업으로 등록된 기업은 버추얼클래스 서비스를 최대 80% 할인된 가격으로 이용할 수 있다.
클라우드 지원사업의 수요기업 신청은 오는 22일까지 온라인으로 접수할 수 있다.
소프트웨이즈의 장재환 대표는 “이번 클라우드 바우처 지원사업을 통해 보다 많은 중소기업들이 첨단 클라우드 기반 교육 인프라를 경제적으로 활용해 디지털 혁신과 소프트웨어 교육 향상의 기회를 얻을 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 버추얼클래스는 최근 AI 튜터 ‘늘봇’과 다양한 소프트웨어를 즉시 실행할 수 있는 ‘소프트 허브’ 기능이 추가된 5.0 버전을 출시해 교육 효과를 높이고 있다. 현재 고려대학교, 창원대학교를 비롯한 다수의 대학과 기업에서 활용되고 있으며, 천재교과서 밀크T 등 교육 기업과도 협력하고 있다.

Softwareways selected as supplier for '2025 SME Cloud Service Distribution and Expansion Project'

Selected demand companies can receive customized cloud consulting and conversion services, as well as service usage fees, based on the business environment and digital transformation goals of each company. The general support sector (232 or more companies) can receive up to KRW 10 million, and the intensive support sector (20 or more companies) can receive up to KRW 80 million.
Virtual Class provides an environment where high-performance software can be run through an Internet browser without time and place restrictions, and can be used for both online education where it is difficult to build a practical environment and offline education where a high-spec PC is required. This service has a cost saving effect of approximately 87.5% compared to building a high-performance PC computer room, so it can significantly reduce the digital transformation cost burden of small and medium-sized businesses.
In particular, through this project, companies registered as demand companies of Softwareways can use the virtual class service at a discount of up to 80%.
Applications for cloud support projects can be submitted online until the 22nd.
Softways CEO Jaehwan Jang said, “Through this cloud voucher support project, we will actively support more small and medium-sized businesses to economically utilize cutting-edge cloud-based education infrastructure and gain opportunities for digital innovation and improved software education.”
Meanwhile, Virtual Class recently released version 5.0 with the addition of AI tutor 'Neulbot' and 'Soft Hub' function that can run various software immediately, thereby increasing the effectiveness of education. It is currently being used by many universities and companies including Korea University and Changwon National University, and is also collaborating with educational companies such as Genius Textbook Milk T.
