인공지능 기반 양계 스마트팜 솔루션 스타트업 ‘파이프트리’의 기술이 지난 2일 태국 식품기업 CPF(Charoen Pokphand Foods Company) 현지 육계 농장에 적용 완료됐다. 이번 도입은 대규모 축산 생산의 디지털 전환 프로젝트의 첫 단계로, 글로벌 축산 시장에서 기술 기반 운영 혁신을 상징한다.
CPF는 태국 최대 민간기업집단인 CP 그룹(Charoen Pokphand Group)의 핵심 계열사로 글로벌 식품기업이다. 연간 생산량의 60% 이상을 일본, 유럽, 중동 등 글로벌 시장에 수출하고, 현재 50개국에 제품을 공급, 17개국에 직접 진출한 글로벌 Top-Tier 식품기업으로 평가받는 곳으로써 초대형 생산시설을 갖춘 축산분야 기업의 인공지능 솔루션 도입의 의미는 더욱 크다. 특히 파이프트리의 인공지능 기술은 생산·출하 관리가 복잡한 양계산업 구조에 맞춰 실시간 환경 데이터 수집, 질병관리, 출하 예측 자동화 등이 현지 맞춤형으로 구현되며 기존 운영 방식을 크게 혁신 가능케 한다.
이번 도입을 시작으로 1년간 CPF 태국 현지 생산 환경에 최적화된 기술과 서비스로 공동 연구·개발(R&D)이 진행되고, 이후 CPF가 보유한 1,200여 축사에 순차적으로 확대 적용될 예정이며, 별도로 수석부사장(Surachate Pinklao)의 요청으로 개인 소유 농장(80 동)과 함께 오리 농장으로도 확대될 계획이다.
파이프트리는 현재 태국 외에도, 업계 1등 기업인 대만 DaChan, 일본 Prifoods 등과의 협력도 병행하고 있으며, 이번 도입을 통해 기술 범위를 지역 단위가 아닌 국가 단위 농업 플랫폼으로 확장하겠다는 계획을 밝혔다.

이번 협력을 통해 파이프트리는 글로벌 축산 공급망의 혁신 모델을 선도하며, 식품 공룡기업과 기술 파트너로 자리매김할 발판을 마련하게 됐으며, 태국 CPF는 생산 효율성은 물론 품질과 안전성까지 확보한 ‘스마트 축산의 글로벌 표준’을 구축해 나갈 것으로 기대된다.

Pipetree to supply AI poultry smart farm technology to Thailand CPF
The technology of 'Pipetree', an AI-based poultry smart farm solution startup, was applied to a local broiler farm of Thai food company CPF (Charoen Pokphand Foods Company) on the 2nd. This introduction is the first step in a large-scale livestock production digital transformation project and symbolizes technology-based operational innovation in the global livestock market.
CPF is a global food company and a key affiliate of CP Group (Charoen Pokphand Group), the largest private conglomerate in Thailand. It exports more than 60% of its annual production to global markets such as Japan, Europe, and the Middle East, and is currently supplying products to 50 countries and directly entering 17 countries. It is evaluated as a global top-tier food company, so the introduction of AI solutions for a livestock company with ultra-large production facilities is all the more significant. In particular, Pipetree’s AI technology enables real-time environmental data collection, disease management, and automation of shipment predictions in a localized manner that is tailored to the complex poultry industry structure with production and shipment management, and can significantly innovate existing operation methods.
Starting with this introduction, joint research and development (R&D) will be conducted for one year with technology and services optimized for CPF’s local production environment in Thailand, and will then be sequentially expanded to approximately 1,200 livestock farms owned by CPF, and separately, at the request of the Senior Vice President (Surachate Pinklao), it is planned to expand to duck farms along with privately owned farms (80 farms).
Pipetree is currently collaborating with industry leaders such as DaChan from Taiwan and Prifoods from Japan in addition to Thailand, and announced plans to expand the scope of its technology from a regional to a national agricultural platform through this introduction.
CPF Senior Vice President Surachate Pinklao said, “In order to lead the global market, data-driven integrated production management technology is needed,” and Pipetree CEO Jang Yoo-chang said, “This project is not simply a solution provision, but the first case of jointly designing the standardization of production structures with global food companies,” showing that the AI-driven digital transformation has also begun in earnest in livestock operations.
Through this collaboration, Pipetree will establish a foundation to lead the innovation model of the global livestock supply chain and establish itself as a technology partner with food giants, while Thailand CPF is expected to establish a ‘global standard for smart livestock farming’ that secures not only production efficiency but also quality and safety.

La technologie de « Pipetree », une startup de solutions d'élevage de volaille intelligentes basée sur l'IA, a été appliquée à un élevage local de poulets de chair de la société alimentaire thaïlandaise CPF (Charoen Pokphand Foods Company) le 2. Cette introduction constitue la première étape d’un projet de transformation numérique pour la production animale à grande échelle et représente une innovation opérationnelle basée sur la technologie sur le marché mondial de l’élevage.

En tant qu'entreprise alimentaire mondiale de premier plan qui exporte plus de 60 % de sa production annuelle vers les marchés mondiaux tels que le Japon, l'Europe et le Moyen-Orient, et qui fournit actuellement des produits à 50 pays et est entrée directement dans 17 pays, l'introduction de solutions d'intelligence artificielle par une entreprise d'élevage dotée d'installations de production ultra-larges est d'autant plus significative. En particulier, la technologie d'intelligence artificielle de Pipetree permet une innovation significative dans les méthodes d'exploitation existantes en mettant en œuvre la collecte de données environnementales en temps réel, la gestion des maladies et l'automatisation de la prévision des expéditions de manière localisée pour s'adapter à la structure complexe de production et de gestion des expéditions de l'industrie avicole.

Pipetree collabore actuellement avec des leaders de l'industrie tels que DaChan de Taiwan et Prifoods du Japon en plus de la Thaïlande, et a annoncé son intention d'étendre la portée de sa technologie d'une plate-forme agricole régionale à une plate-forme agricole nationale grâce à cette introduction.
