(재)아셈중소기업친환경혁신센터(ASEIC)는 인도네시아 친환경 스타트업 MYCL과 함께 ‘대체 가죽 가치사슬 구축 사업’을 공동 추진하기 위한 P4G(Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030) 파트너십 협약을 체결했다고 14일 밝혔다.
이번 파트너십은 인도네시아 내 농업폐기물 처리 문제와 친환경 대체 가죽 수요를 동시에 해결하기 위한 순환경제 기반 협력 모델로, MYCL의 버섯 균사체 기반 바이오소재 기술을 활용해 아체 타미앙(Aceh Tamiang) 지역의 팜나무 폐기물을 활용한 대체 가죽 생산 확대를 목표로 한다.
ASEIC과 MYCL은 대체 가죽 생산뿐 아니라, 지역 농민을 대상으로 토양 개량제 및 바이오 펠릿 생산에 필요한 기술 교육을 제공함으로써 지역 자립 기반 강화와 고부가가치 산업 창출도 병행할 예정이다.
이번 협력은 P4G의 지원을 기반으로 추진된다. P4G는 지속가능한 성장과 기후변화 대응을 위한 민관 협력 프로젝트를 지원하는 글로벌 플랫폼으로, 세계자원연구소(World Resources Institute)가 주관하고 한국, 덴마크, 네덜란드 등 주요 국가 외교부가 협력하고 있다. 2018년 출범 이후 전 세계 148개 이상의 지속가능 개발 프로젝트를 지원해 왔다.
ASEIC은 이번 MYCL과의 협력을 통해 2022년 이후 세 번째로 P4G 파트너십 사업에 선정됐으며, 약 34만 달러(한화 약 5억 원)의 보조금을 확보했다. 이는 이전 사업인 ▲RE:harvest-ASEIC(20222023년, 약 1억 원), ▲2차 연계 사업(20242025년, 약 4억 원)에 이어 연속적인 성과로 평가된다.
ASEIC은 인도네시아 현지 사무소를 기반으로, P4G 사업의 행정 파트너 역할을 수행하고 있다. 또한, 해외 시장 진출을 희망하는 국내외 기업들과의 연계를 통해 친환경 기술의 글로벌 사업화를 지원하고 있다.
ASEIC 관계자는 “이번 파트너십은 환경과 지역사회가 상생하는 순환경제 모델로, MYCL의 기술력과 ASEIC의 글로벌 협력 네트워크가 시너지를 낼 것으로 기대된다”며 “앞으로도 중소기업의 친환경 혁신 역량 강화를 위한 국제 협력을 지속 확대해 나갈 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

ASEM SME Eco-friendly Innovation Center, P4G Partnership Project Selected
The ASEM SME Eco-Innovation Center (ASEIC) announced on the 14th that it signed a P4G (Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030) partnership agreement with Indonesian eco-friendly startup MYCL to jointly promote the 'Alternative Leather Value Chain Construction Project'.
This partnership is a circular economy-based collaboration model that simultaneously addresses both the issue of agricultural waste disposal in Indonesia and the demand for eco-friendly alternative leather. It aims to expand the production of alternative leather using palm tree waste in the Aceh Tamiang region by utilizing MYCL’s mushroom mycelium-based biomaterial technology.
In addition to alternative leather production, ASEIC and MYCL will also provide technical training to local farmers on soil amendment and bio-pellet production, thereby strengthening local self-reliance and creating high value-added industries.
This collaboration is being promoted based on the support of P4G. P4G is a global platform that supports public-private cooperation projects for sustainable growth and climate change response, hosted by the World Resources Institute and supported by the foreign ministries of major countries such as Korea, Denmark, and the Netherlands. Since its launch in 2018, it has supported more than 148 sustainable development projects around the world.
Through this collaboration with MYCL, ASEIC has been selected for the P4G partnership project for the third time since 2022, and has secured a subsidy of approximately USD 340,000 (KRW 500 million). This is evaluated as a consecutive achievement following the previous projects ▲RE:harvest-ASEIC (KRW 100 million in 2022-2023) and ▲2nd Linkage Project (KRW 400 million in 2024-2025).
Based in its local office in Indonesia, ASEIC serves as an administrative partner for P4G projects. It also supports the global commercialization of eco-friendly technologies through connections with domestic and foreign companies seeking to enter overseas markets.
An ASEIC official said, “This partnership is a circular economy model where the environment and local communities coexist, and we expect that MYCL’s technological prowess and ASEIC’s global cooperation network will create synergy,” adding, “We plan to continue to expand international cooperation to strengthen the eco-friendly innovation capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises in the future.”

ASEICとMYCLは、代替革生産だけでなく、地域農民を対象に土壌改良剤やバイオペレット生産に必要な技術教育を提供することで、地域自立基盤の強化と高付加価値産業の創出も並行する予定だ。
今回の協力はP4Gの支援に基づいて推進される。 P4Gは持続可能な成長と気候変動対応のための民間協力プロジェクトを支援するグローバルプラットフォームで、世界資源研究所(World Resources Institute)が主管し、韓国、デンマーク、オランダなど主要国家外交部が協力している。 2018年の発足以来、世界148以上の持続可能な開発プロジェクトを支援してきました。

亚欧会议中小企业生态创新中心（ASEIC） 14日宣布，与印尼环保初创企业MYCL签署P4G（绿色增长与2030年全球目标伙伴关系）合作协议，共同推进“替代皮革价值链建设项目”。

Centre d'innovation écologique pour les PME de l'ASEM, projet de partenariat P4G sélectionné
Le Centre d'éco-innovation des PME de l'ASEM (ASEIC) a annoncé le 14 avoir signé un accord de partenariat P4G (Partenariat pour la croissance verte et les objectifs mondiaux 2030) avec la startup indonésienne respectueuse de l'environnement MYCL pour promouvoir conjointement le « Projet de construction de chaîne de valeur alternative du cuir ».
Ce partenariat est un modèle de collaboration basé sur l’économie circulaire qui répond simultanément à la fois au problème de l’élimination des déchets agricoles en Indonésie et à la demande de cuir alternatif respectueux de l’environnement. L'objectif est d'étendre la production de cuir alternatif à partir de déchets de palmiers dans la région d'Aceh Tamiang en utilisant la technologie de biomatériaux à base de mycélium de champignon de MYCL.
En plus de la production de cuir alternatif, l'ASEIC et le MYCL fourniront également une formation technique aux agriculteurs locaux sur l'amendement des sols et la production de bio-granulés, renforçant ainsi l'autonomie locale et créant des industries à haute valeur ajoutée.
Cette collaboration est portée par le soutien de P4G. P4G est une plateforme mondiale qui soutient des projets de coopération public-privé pour une croissance durable et une réponse au changement climatique. Il est hébergé par le World Resources Institute et soutenu par les ministères des Affaires étrangères de grands pays, dont la Corée, le Danemark et les Pays-Bas. Depuis son lancement en 2018, il a soutenu plus de 148 projets de développement durable à travers le monde.
Grâce à cette collaboration avec MYCL, ASEIC a été sélectionnée pour le projet de partenariat P4G pour la troisième fois depuis 2022, obtenant une subvention d'environ 340 000 USD (500 millions KRW). Il s'agit d'une réalisation consécutive aux projets précédents ▲RE:harvest-ASEIC (2022-2023, environ 100 millions de KRW) et ▲2e projet lié (2024-2025, environ 400 millions de KRW).
L'ASEIC est le partenaire administratif du projet P4G, basé dans son bureau local en Indonésie. En outre, nous soutenons la commercialisation mondiale de technologies respectueuses de l’environnement grâce à une collaboration avec des entreprises nationales et étrangères souhaitant pénétrer les marchés étrangers.
