인공지능(AI)·빅데이터 전문 기업 비투엔이 확장현실(XR) 기술 기업 버넥트, AI 반도체 전문 기업 리벨리온과 컨소시엄을 구성해 몽골 정부와의 디지털 협력 프로젝트에 착수했다.
비투엔은 19일, 몽골 수도 울란바토르에서 몽골 관세청(Mongolia Customs General Administration, MCGA)과 AI 기반 디지털 행정 협력을 위한 공동 협력 계획서(Joint Action Plan)를 지난 13일 체결했다고 밝혔다. 이번 협력은 과학기술정보통신부와 정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA)이 추진하는 ‘AI-반도체 해외실증지원 사업’의 일환으로 진행됐다.
공동 협력 계획서는 향후 정식 업무협약(MOU) 체결을 위한 사전 단계로, 양측은 AI 에이전트 서비스와 국산 AI 반도체(NPU) 인프라를 활용해 몽골 관세청의 디지털 혁신 및 무역 절차 효율화를 도모할 방침이다.
이번 협약을 통해 국내 기업들이 몽골 정부기관과 직접적인 협력 체계를 구축한 것은 이례적인 사례로, 단순한 기술 도입을 넘어 디지털 행정 분야의 지속 가능한 협력 모델 수립이라는 점에서 의미가 있다는 평가다. 협력 범위는 향후 디지털 ODA 연계 및 타국 확산으로 확장될 가능성도 제시되고 있다.
협약식은 몽골 관세청 청사에서 진행됐으며, 엔크타이반 겔레그잼츠 부청장의 환영사로 시작해, 비투엔 이창현 대표의 사업 소개, 몽골 관세청의 AI 정책 발표, 기관 투어 및 실증 서비스 논의 등으로 구성됐다. 행사에는 몽골 디지털정보부, 유럽연합(EU) 관련 기관 관계자 등 약 100명이 참석했으며, 몽골 국영방송(MONTSAME) 등 주요 언론도 현장을 취재했다.
비투엔 이창현 대표는 “이번 협약은 국내 디지털 기술이 국제 공공행정에 실질적으로 적용될 수 있음을 보여주는 사례”라며 “몽골 관세청과의 협력이 기술 수출 이상의 의미를 지니며, 향후 다양한 국가와의 협력 가능성도 열어줄 것”이라고 말했다.
비투엔 해외사업팀 류지선 수석은 “관세청의 핵심 역할은 무역 원활화와 위험 관리”라며 “본 프로젝트를 통해 축적된 데이터를 고도화하고, 실시간 대응이 가능한 행정 체계를 구축해 효율성과 정확성을 높일 계획”이라고 설명했다.

Artificial intelligence (AI) and big data company BituN has formed a consortium with extended reality (XR) technology company Vernect and AI semiconductor company Rebellion to embark on a digital cooperation project with the Mongolian government.
On the 19th, Bithumb announced that it signed a Joint Action Plan for AI-based digital administration cooperation with the Mongolia Customs General Administration (MCGA) in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, on the 13th. This cooperation was carried out as part of the 'AI-Semiconductor Overseas Demonstration Support Project' promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA).

The scope of cooperation is also likely to expand to digital ODA linkage and expansion to other countries in the future.
The signing ceremony was held at the Mongolian Customs Service building, and began with a welcoming speech by Deputy Director-General Enktaiban Gelegjamts, followed by a business introduction by CEO Lee Chang-hyun of Bituen, an announcement of the Mongolian Customs Service’s AI policy, a tour of the agency, and discussions on demonstration services. Approximately 100 people, including officials from the Mongolian Ministry of Digital Information and the European Union (EU), attended the event, and major media outlets, including the Mongolian National Broadcasting Corporation (MONTSAME), also covered the event.
“This agreement is an example of how domestic digital technology can be practically applied to international public administration,” said Lee Chang-hyun, CEO of BituN. “The cooperation with the Mongolian Customs Service has a meaning beyond technology exports, and will also open up possibilities for cooperation with various countries in the future.”
“The core role of the Korea Customs Service is to facilitate trade and manage risks,” said Ryu Ji-seon, head of the overseas business team at Bithumb. “Through this project, we plan to enhance the accumulated data and build an administrative system capable of real-time response to increase efficiency and accuracy.”

Le 19, Bituen a annoncé la signature d'un plan d'action conjoint pour la coopération en matière d'administration numérique basée sur l'IA avec l'Administration générale des douanes de Mongolie (MCGA) à Oulan-Bator, la capitale de la Mongolie, le 13. Cette collaboration a été réalisée dans le cadre du « Projet de soutien à la démonstration à l'étranger des semi-conducteurs IA » promu par le ministère des Sciences et des TIC et l'Agence nationale de promotion de l'industrie informatique (NIPA).
