AI(인공지능) S/W(소프트웨어) 전문기업 피아이이가 서강대학교(이하 서강대)와 함께 AI 산업화 기술에 관한 연구 협약을 체결하고, 제2판교테크노밸리(성남시 수정구 금토동 일대)의 ‘서강-판교 디지털혁신캠퍼스’에 ‘PIE AI R&D Campus’를 설립한다고 21일 밝혔다.
피아이이는 제2판교테크노밸리 서강-판교 디지털혁신캠퍼스가 위치한 위든타워 4~5층(약 4,719.2㎡ 규모)에 PIE AI R&D Campus를 마련하여 핵심 연구개발 거점으로 활용할 계획이다. 이 캠퍼스는 서강대와의 산학협력을 통해 AI 융합 기술 개발을 선도하는 중심지로 운영되며, 자회사인 제조 데이터 및 산업용 AI 솔루션 전문기업 ‘아하랩스’와 산업용 컴퓨팅 및 SI 전문기업 ‘비즈하이시스템’도 함께 입주하여 기술 공동 개발을 통해 시너지를 낼 방침이다.
이번 산학협력 협약은 서강대의 서강-판교 디지털혁신캠퍼스 사업의 일환으로 추진됐다. 서강대는 판교에 인공지능 및 시스템반도체 분야의 산학협력 허브를 구축하고, 첨단 인재 양성 및 스타트업 육성 생태계 조성을 목표로 하고 있다.
PIE AI R&D Campus는 머신러닝, 자연어처리, MLOps 등 AI 핵심 기술은 물론, 반도체, 자동차, 전기·전자, 물류, 제약 등 다양한 산업군에 AI를 접목하는 ‘AI+X(Everything)’ 응용 기술 개발에 주력한다. 또한, 이번 협약을 통해, 서강대와 함께 산학공동연구, 현장실습, 인턴십, 스타트업 육성프로그램 등을 운영하며 실질적인 협력을 하게 된다.
피아이이는 이번 캠퍼스 설립을 계기로 데이터 분석가, IT 아키텍트, 정보 시스템 운용자 등 AI 핵심 인력 채용도 확대할 예정이다. 서강대의 우수한 AI 연구 인프라와 풍부한 인재 풀을 활용함으로써, 최신 연구 성과를 산업 현장에 신속히 접목하고 실용성 높은 기술을 구현하는 데 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
김현준 피아이이 공동대표는 “이번 ‘PIE AI R&D Campus’ 설립은 미래 기술 경쟁력 확보를 위한 전략적 투자”라며, “서강대와의 긴밀한 협력을 통해 글로벌 시장을 선도할 수 있는 혁신적인 AI 솔루션을 개발하겠다”고 말했다. 심종혁 서강대 총장은 “서강대는 국내 최고의 AI 중심 교육과 연구 인프라를 확보하고 있다”면서 “피아이이와의 협력이 산업계와 대학에 새로운 협력 모델이 되도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

PIE AI Establishes 'PIE AI R&D Campus' at Pangyo Withen Tower
PIE , an AI (artificial intelligence) software (software) specialized company, announced on the 21st that it signed a research agreement on AI industrialization technology with Sogang University (hereinafter “Sogang University”) and established the “PIE AI R&D Campus” at the “Sogang-Pangyo Digital Innovation Campus” in the 2nd Pangyo Techno Valley (Geumto-dong, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si).
PIE plans to establish the PIE AI R&D Campus on the 4th and 5th floors (approximately 4,719.2㎡) of Withen Tower, where the 2nd Pangyo Techno Valley Sogang-Pangyo Digital Innovation Campus is located, and utilize it as a core research and development base. This campus will be operated as a center leading the development of AI convergence technology through industry-academic cooperation with Sogang University, and its subsidiaries, manufacturing data and industrial AI solution specialist ‘Aha Labs’ and industrial computing and SI specialist ‘BizHigh System’, plan to move in and create synergy through joint technology development.
This industry-academia cooperation agreement was promoted as part of Sogang University’s Sogang-Pangyo Digital Innovation Campus project. Sogang University aims to establish an industry-academia cooperation hub in the fields of artificial intelligence and system semiconductors in Pangyo and to create an ecosystem for fostering cutting-edge talent and startups.
PIE AI R&D Campus focuses on developing AI+X (Everything) application technologies that apply AI to various industries such as semiconductors, automobiles, electrical and electronics, logistics, and pharmaceuticals, as well as core AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and MLOps. In addition, through this agreement, they will operate joint industry-academia research, field training, internships, and startup incubation programs with Sogang University, and engage in practical cooperation.
With the establishment of this campus, PII plans to expand the recruitment of key AI personnel such as data analysts, IT architects, and information system operators. By utilizing Sogang University’s excellent AI research infrastructure and rich talent pool, it is expected to make a significant contribution to quickly applying the latest research results to industrial sites and implementing highly practical technologies.

ピアイは第2板橋テクノバレー西江-板橋デジタル革新キャンパスが位置するウィーデンタワー4～5階（約4,719.2㎡規模）にPIE AI R&D Campusを設け、核心研究開発拠点として活用する計画だ。このキャンパスは西江大との産学協力を通じてAI融合技術開発をリードする中心地として運営され、子会社である製造データおよび産業用AIソリューション専門企業「アハラプス」と産業用コンピューティングおよびSI専門企業「ビーズハイシステム」も共に入居し、技術共同開発を通じて相乗効果を出す方針だ。
今回の産学協力協約は、西江大の西江-板橋デジタル革新キャンパス事業の一環として推進された。西江大は板橋に人工知能及びシステム半導体分野の産学協力ハブを構築し、先端人材養成及びスタートアップ育成生態系の造成を目指している。
PIE AI R&D Campusは、機械学習、自然言語処理、MLOpsなどAIコア技術はもちろん、半導体、自動車、電気・電子、物流、製薬など多様な産業群にAIを融合する「AI+X(Everything)」応用技術の開発に注力する。また、今回の条約を通じて、西江大とともに産学共同研究、現場実習、インターンシップ、スタートアップ育成プログラムなどを運営し、実質的な協力をすることになる。
ピアイは今回のキャンパス設立を契機にデータアナリスト、ITアーキテクト、情報システム運用者などAIコア人材採用も拡大する予定だ。西江大の優れたAI研究インフラと豊富な人材プールを活用することで、最新の研究成果を産業現場に素早く移植し、実用性の高い技術の実現に大きく貢献することが期待される。

PIE AI 在板桥威森大厦建立“PIE AI 研发园区”
AI（人工智能）软件（软件）专业企业PIE于21日宣布，与西江大学（以下简称“西江大学”）签署了AI产业化技术研究协议，并在位于第二板桥科技谷（城南市寿井区金土洞）的“西江-板桥数字创新园区”设立了“PIE AI研发园区”。

PIE AI établit un « campus de recherche et développement PIE AI » à la tour Pangyo Withen
PIE , une société spécialisée dans les logiciels d'IA (intelligence artificielle), a annoncé le 21 avoir signé un accord de recherche sur la technologie d'industrialisation de l'IA avec l'Université Sogang (ci-après « Université Sogang ») et établi le « PIE AI R&D Campus » au « Sogang-Pangyo Digital Innovation Campus » dans la 2e Pangyo Techno Valley (Geumto-dong, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si).
PIE prévoit d'établir le campus de R&D PIE AI aux 4e et 5e étages (environ 4 719,2㎡) de la tour Withen, où se trouve le 2e campus d'innovation numérique Pangyo Techno Valley Sogang-Pangyo, et de l'utiliser comme base de recherche et développement principale. Ce campus sera exploité comme un centre leader dans le développement de la technologie de convergence de l'IA grâce à la coopération industrielle-universitaire avec l'Université Sogang et ses filiales, le spécialiste des données de fabrication et des solutions d'IA industrielle « Aha Labs » et le spécialiste de l'informatique industrielle et de l'IS « BizHigh System » s'installeront également pour créer une synergie grâce au développement technologique conjoint.
Cet accord de coopération entre l’industrie et le monde universitaire a été promu dans le cadre du projet Sogang-Pangyo Digital Innovation Campus de l’Université Sogang. L'Université Sogang construit un centre de coopération industrie-université dans les domaines de l'intelligence artificielle et des semi-conducteurs système à Pangyo, et vise à favoriser un écosystème pour nourrir les talents de pointe et encourager les startups.
Le campus PIE AI R&D se concentre sur le développement de technologies de base de l'IA telles que l'apprentissage automatique, le traitement du langage naturel et les MLOps, ainsi que sur les technologies d'application « AI+X (Everything) » qui appliquent l'IA à diverses industries telles que les semi-conducteurs, l'automobile, l'électricité et l'électronique, la logistique et les produits pharmaceutiques.
