‘서울핀테크랩’이 2025년 상반기 신규 입주기업으로 AI 기반 B2B 화물운송 중개 플랫폼 ‘곳간로지스’를 선정했다고 23일 밝혔다. 서울핀테크랩은 이번 선정을 통해 물류와 금융이 결합된 융합형 핀테크 기업의 육성에 나선다는 방침이다.
곳간로지스는 미들마일(middle-mile) 물류 시장을 중심으로 디지털 전환(Digital Transformation)을 추진하는 스타트업으로, 자체 플랫폼 ‘프리모(Primo)’를 통해 AI 기반 자동 배차, 운송료 자동 정산, 전자인수증 발급 등의 기능을 제공하고 있다. 이는 기존 수작업, 전화 중심, 종이 문서 기반의 화물운송 중개 방식에서 벗어나 운송업계의 비효율을 개선하고, 거래 투명성을 높이는 데 기여하고 있다는 평가다.
현재 곳간로지스는 약 500여 개의 화주사와 7,800여 명 이상의 차주가 플랫폼에 참여하고 있으며, Yamaha Motors, 아성다이소, 동서식품 등 주요 기업들이 고객사로 활동 중이다. 이러한 점에서 실제 산업 현장에서 핀테크 기술이 적용되고 있는 사례로 주목받고 있다.
서울핀테크랩 관계자는 “곳간로지스는 물류 산업의 구조적인 문제를 핀테크 기술을 통해 해결하고 있는 혁신적인 기업”이라며 “서울시가 조성 중인 핀테크 산업 생태계의 다양성과 지속 가능성 확대에 긍정적 영향을 줄 것으로 기대된다”고 밝혔다.
또한 곳간로지스는 하나은행, IBK기업은행, 삼성카드, SC제일은행, 웰컴저축은행, DB손해보험 등 다양한 금융기관과의 협력을 통해 법인카드 기반의 화주 서비스, 운송료 선정산 프로그램, 보험 상품 연계 등 실질적인 핀테크 서비스를 확대하고 있다.
이외에도 기존 업계에서 문제로 지적된 ▲전화 기반 배차 시스템 ▲비공식 자금 거래 ▲지연된 운송료 지급 ▲과도한 중개 수수료 ▲종이 중심의 증빙 체계 등을 디지털 방식으로 전환하고 있다. 이에 따라 카드 결제, 실시간 거래 추적, 5일 이내 운송료 정산, 전자세금계산서 자동 발행 등 프로세스가 도입돼 산업의 구조 개선에 기여하고 있다.
이러한 변화는 기술 혁신을 넘어 서울시의 ESG(환경·사회·지배구조) 정책, 투명경제 실현, 산업 구조의 디지털 표준화 등 공공정책 방향성과도 일치한다는 점에서 의미가 있다는 평가다.
곳간로지스 김자영 대표는 일본 소프트뱅크 개발팀과 국내외 핀테크 기업 등에서 20년 이상의 경력을 보유한 인물로, 물류와 금융 융합 기술을 기반으로 한 서비스 확장을 이끌고 있다. 김 대표는 “대기업과의 시스템 통합(SI) 협력과 물류 서비스 공급 확대를 통해 전략적 M&A 및 글로벌 시장 진출을 추진할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

In addition, Gotgan Logistics is expanding practical fintech services such as corporate card-based shipper services, transportation fee pre-calculation programs, and insurance product linkages through cooperation with various financial institutions such as Hana Bank, IBK Industrial Bank, Samsung Card, SC First Bank, Welcome Savings Bank, and DB Insurance.
In addition, problems pointed out in the existing industry, such as ▲phone-based dispatch system ▲unofficial money transactions ▲delayed transportation fee payment ▲excessive brokerage fees ▲paper-based documentation system, are being converted to digital methods. Accordingly, processes such as card payment, real-time transaction tracking, transportation fee settlement within 5 days, and automatic issuance of electronic tax invoices are being introduced, contributing to the structural improvement of the industry.
This change is considered significant in that it goes beyond technological innovation and is consistent with the direction of Seoul City's public policies, such as ESG (environment, society, and governance) policy, realization of a transparent economy, and digital standardization of industrial structures.
Kim Ja-young, CEO of Gotgan Logistics, has over 20 years of experience in the SoftBank development team in Japan and domestic and international fintech companies, and is leading the expansion of services based on logistics and financial convergence technology.
