워트인텔리전스가 중소벤처기업부가 주관하는 ‘2025 아기유니콘 육성사업’에 최종 선정됐다고 30일 밝혔다.
‘아기유니콘 육성사업’은 기업가치 300억 원 이상으로 평가받는 유망 스타트업을 발굴해 글로벌 유니콘 기업으로의 성장을 지원하는 중기부의 대표 스케일업 프로그램이다. 올해는 총 217개 기업이 신청했으며, 이 중 50개사가 최종 선정됐다.
워트인텔리전스는 특허 등 기술 데이터를 기반으로 인공지능 기술을 활용해 고도화된 검색 및 전략 분석 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 대표 서비스인 ‘키워트’는 글로벌 특허 데이터를 AI로 정제·요약·분석해 기업의 기술 트렌드 파악, 경쟁사 분석, 전략 수립 등을 지원하며, ‘IP 데이터 인텔리전스’는 이러한 데이터를 기반으로 사업 전략 수립에 활용할 수 있는 통합 분석 솔루션이다.
회사 측은 최근 생성형 AI 기반 요약 기능 ‘AI 요약 코파일럿’을 도입하며 정보 접근성과 활용성을 높였으며, 일본과 대만 등 아시아 시장을 중심으로 수출 기반도 확대하고 있다.
중기부는 이번 선정 배경으로 ▲AI와 데이터 분석 알고리즘에 대한 자체 기술력 ▲대용량 글로벌 특허 데이터를 신속하게 처리할 수 있는 기술 기반 ▲국내 IP 산업 분야에서의 해외 수출 실적 등을 높이 평가했다.
윤정호 대표는 “이번 아기유니콘 선정은 기술 데이터라는 전문 분야에서 AI 기술력과 사업 가능성을 동시에 인정받은 결과”라며 “국내외 시장에서 활용 가능한 지식재산 기반 AI 솔루션의 표준을 제시하고, 글로벌 확장에 속도를 내겠다”고 밝혔다.
