임플란트 및 덴탈·메디컬 솔루션 전문기업 ㈜덴티스가 대만 현지 치과 장비 유통업체인 ART.BIO INTERNATIONAL Co., Ltd.(永聖國際有限公司)와 치과용 유니트체어 공급 계약을 체결했다고 5일 밝혔다.
ART.BIO INTERNATIONAL은 일본 주요 기업의 프리미엄 치과 유니트체어를 연간 100대 이상 공급하는 대만 내 유력 유통업체다. 덴티스는 이번 계약을 통해 총 321대의 유니트체어를 대만 시장에 공급하며, 자사 제품을 기존 프리미엄 모델을 대체할 대표 제품으로 육성할 계획이다. 이를 위해 3분기 내 현지 인증 절차를 완료하는 것을 목표로 마케팅 활동과 인증 준비를 진행 중이며, 인증 취득 후 연내 본격적인 판매에 나설 예정이다.
덴티스의 치과 유니트체어는 2023년 7월 출시 이후 국내 치과 개원가를 중심으로 공급이 확대되며 제품 경쟁력을 인정받았다. 해당 제품은 진료 환경 개선과 사용자 편의성을 고려해 설계됐으며, 국내 최초로 환자 통증 알림 시스템을 탑재하는 등 차별화된 기능을 갖추고 있다. 최근에는 SIDEX 전시회를 통해 오토 크루즈, 무선 풋 컨트롤러 등 최신 기능과 다양한 옵션을 적용한 신규 모델을 공개하며 라인업을 강화했다.
덴티스는 국내에서 수술용 조명 브랜드 ‘루비스’와 협력해 시술 환경에 맞춘 클래스별 패키지 상품을 제공하고 있으며, 유니트체어 전용 치과 진료등 모델도 함께 공급해 제품 간 연계성을 높이고 있다. 또한 2024년 9월 미국 FDA 인증을 획득했으며, 하반기 유럽 CE MDR 인증 취득도 추진 중이다. 이를 바탕으로 주요 해외 시장에서 공급을 확대하고 브랜드 인지도를 높인다는 계획이다.
덴티스 관계자는 “대만은 고령화와 함께 치과 장비 시장이 꾸준히 성장하는 지역으로, 임플란트와 교정 치료 관련 제품 대부분을 일본, 미국, 독일산 제품에 의존하고 있다”며 “대만 현지 유통업체와의 협력을 통해 유니트체어를 비롯한 다양한 제품 공급을 확대하고, 기술 혁신과 품질 향상을 통해 글로벌 경쟁력을 강화할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

DENTIS signs supply contract for dental unit chair in Taiwan
Dentis Co., Ltd., a company specializing in implants and dental/medical solutions, announced on the 5th that it has signed a contract to supply dental unit chairs with ART.BIO INTERNATIONAL Co., Ltd. (Yongsheng International Co., Ltd.), a local Taiwanese dental equipment distributor.
ART.BIO INTERNATIONAL is a leading distributor in Taiwan that supplies more than 100 premium dental unit chairs to major Japanese companies annually. Through this contract, Dentis will supply a total of 321 unit chairs to the Taiwanese market and plans to develop its products as representative products that will replace existing premium models. To this end, it is currently conducting marketing activities and preparing for certification with the goal of completing local certification procedures within the third quarter, and plans to begin full-scale sales within the year after obtaining certification.
Since its launch in July 2023, Dentis' dental unit chair has been recognized for its product competitiveness as its supply has expanded to domestic dental clinics. The product was designed with consideration for improving the treatment environment and user convenience, and has differentiated functions such as being the first in Korea to be equipped with a patient pain notification system. Recently, the company strengthened its lineup by unveiling a new model with the latest functions and various options such as auto cruise and wireless foot controller through the SIDEX exhibition.
Dentis is working with the domestic surgical lighting brand 'Rubys' to provide package products by class that are tailored to the treatment environment, and is also supplying a dental treatment light model exclusively for the unit chair to increase the connectivity between products. In addition, it obtained US FDA certification in September 2024 and is also pursuing European CE MDR certification in the second half of the year. Based on this, it plans to expand supply in major overseas markets and increase brand awareness.
A Dentis official said, “Taiwan is a region where the dental equipment market is steadily growing along with the aging population, and most of the implant and orthodontic treatment-related products depend on products from Japan, the United States, and Germany.” He added, “Through cooperation with local Taiwanese distributors, we will expand the supply of various products, including unit chairs, and strengthen our global competitiveness through technological innovation and quality improvement.”

La plupart des produits liés aux implants et aux traitements orthodontiques dépendent de produits provenant du Japon, des États-Unis et d'Allemagne. » Il a ajouté : « Grâce à la coopération avec des distributeurs taïwanais locaux, nous élargirons l'offre de divers produits, notamment des fauteuils dentaires, et renforcerons notre compétitivité mondiale grâce à l'innovation technologique et à l'amélioration de la qualité. »
