기술보증기금(이사장 김종호, 이하 ‘기보’)은 19일(목) 싱가포르 중심업무지구(CBD)에 첫 해외지점인 ‘싱가포르지점’을 개소하고, 글로벌 진출 중소·벤처기업에 대한 체계적인 기술금융 지원에 나선다고 밝혔다.
기보의 해외지점 신설은 그간 추진해 온 글로벌사업 확장 전략의 핵심 성과로, 동남아시아를 중심으로 한 해외진출기업과 해외투자자 간 연계를 강화하고 국내 중소·벤처기업의 해외진출 확대를 위한 밀착형 금융지원 체계를 구축하기 위해 추진됐다.
싱가포르는 아시아의 금융·산업 허브이자 인공지능, 반도체, 바이오 등 딥테크 분야의 메카로 부상하며 글로벌 진출과 스케일업을 위한 혁신거점으로 평가받는 지역이다. 기보는 이곳에 첫 해외지점을 열고 중소·벤처기업의 글로벌 생태계 조성에 앞장설 계획이다.
이날 개소식에는 현지 정부 및 유관기관 관계자, 기업인 등 100여 명이 싱가포르지점 개소를 축하하기 위해 참석했다. 기보는 ▲(1부) 해외진출기업 지원을 위한 기술금융 방안 발표 ▲(2부) 우수기술기업의 IR 진행 ▲(3부) 싱가포르지점 발전전략 토론 등 개소식 프로그램을 마련해 기술금융의 역할 및 글로벌 진출전략을 제시했다.
먼저, 기보는 기술금융 방안 발표를 통해 국내 중소기업의 해외 진출 촉진을 위한 종합지원체계를 중심으로 싱가포르지점의 비전과 추진 전략을 소개하고, 싱가포르지점을 단순한 해외 거점을 넘어 기술금융의 글로벌 허브로 정착시켜 나가겠다는 계획을 밝혔다.
이어 열리는 행사에서는 아세안 진출기업의 해외 VC 투자유치를 위해 한국벤처투자와 함께 공동 IR이 진행됐다. 이날 IR에는 글로벌 스케일업을 추진 중인 ㈜팔레트, ㈜로오딘, ㈜퍼스트바이오테라퓨틱스, ㈜아이넥스코퍼레이션, ㈜오토노머스에이투지, ㈜셀락바이오 등 국내 딥테크 기업들이 참여해 투자피칭을 진행하고, 현지 VC들과의 네트워킹과 상담을 통해 투자유치 기회를 모색했다. 이번 IR은 중소벤처기업부 산하기관인 기보와 한국벤처투자가 공동으로 추진한 첫 사례로, 양 기관의 전문성과 네트워크를 활용한 협업을 통해 싱가포르 VC 투자유치의 모델로 발전시켜 나갈 예정이다.
또한, 기보는 이날 현지에서 글로벌 금융 인프라를 보유하고 있는 신한은행과 「동남아시아 진출기업 금융지원(Jump into SEA)을 위한 업무협약」을 체결했다. 이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 ▲동남아 진출 기업 대상 공동 금융지원 ▲기술력 기반 평가 협력 ▲글로벌 네트워크 연계 강화를 추진하기로 했다. 이를 통해 해외진출 초기 단계의 기술중소·벤처기업에 대한 신속하고 실질적인 지원이 이뤄지도록 할 방침이다.
행사에 참석한 홍진욱 주싱가포르 대사는 “올해는 한·싱가포르 수교 50주년을 맞는 뜻깊은 해로, 연말 로렌스 웡 총리의 방한을 계기로 양국이 전략적 동반자 관계 수립을 추진하고 있는 가운데, 기보 싱가포르지점이 문을 열게 되어 더욱 의미가 크다”면서, “앞으로도 대사관은 한국 중소·벤처기업들이 현지에서 안정적인 기반을 다지고, 글로벌 네트워크를 확장할 수 있도록 외교·행정 전반에 걸쳐 전폭적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 전했다.
김종호 기보 이사장은 “기보는 싱가포르지점 신설을 통해 국내 중소·벤처기업의 해외 진출을 실질적으로 뒷받침할 수 있는 토대를 마련했다”며, “앞으로도 글로벌 금융기관, 현지 VC 등과 협력을 확대해 기술력 있는 유망 중소·벤처기업이 글로벌시장에서 더 크게 성장할 수 있도록 최선을 다해 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Kibo Opens Overseas Branch in Singapore… “Supporting Technology Finance for SMEs”
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jong-ho Kim, hereinafter referred to as “KIBO”) announced on the 19th (Thursday) that it will open its first overseas branch, the “Singapore Branch,” in Singapore’s Central Business District (CBD) and begin providing systematic technology financing support to small and medium-sized and venture companies advancing globally.
The establishment of Kibo's overseas branches is a key achievement of the global business expansion strategy that has been pursued so far, and was promoted to strengthen the connection between overseas companies and overseas investors, especially in Southeast Asia, and to establish a close financial support system to expand overseas expansion of domestic small and medium-sized and venture companies.
Singapore is a financial and industrial hub in Asia and a mecca for deep tech fields such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and bio, and is evaluated as an innovation base for global expansion and scale-up. Kibo plans to open its first overseas branch here and take the lead in creating a global ecosystem for small and medium-sized and venture companies.
On this day, about 100 people including local government officials, related organizations, and businesspeople attended the opening ceremony to celebrate the opening of the Singapore branch. Kibo prepared the opening ceremony program including ▲(Part 1) presentation of technology finance plan to support overseas expansion companies ▲(Part 2) IR of excellent technology companies ▲(Part 3) discussion of development strategy of the Singapore branch, and presented the role of technology finance and global expansion strategy.
First, Kibo introduced the vision and strategy of the Singapore branch centered on a comprehensive support system to promote overseas expansion of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises through the announcement of its technology financing plan, and announced plans to establish the Singapore branch as a global hub for technology financing beyond a simple overseas base.
At the event that followed, a joint IR was held with Korea Venture Investment to attract overseas VC investment for ASEAN companies. On this day, domestic deep tech companies such as Palette Co., Ltd., Rodin Co., Ltd., First Biotherapeutics Co., Ltd., Inex Corporation Co., Ltd., Autonomous A2G Co., Ltd., and Cellac Bio Co., Ltd., which are pursuing global scale-up, participated in the IR and conducted investment pitching and sought investment attraction opportunities through networking and consultation with local VCs. This IR is the first case jointly promoted by Kibo, an affiliate of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and Korea Venture Investment, and they plan to develop it into a model for attracting Singaporean VC investment through collaboration utilizing the expertise and networks of both organizations.
In addition, Kibo signed a business agreement for “Jump into SEA” with Shinhan Bank, which has a global financial infrastructure in the region. Through this agreement, the two organizations agreed to ▲promote joint financial support for companies advancing into Southeast Asia ▲cooperate in technology-based evaluations ▲strengthen global network connections. Through this, they plan to provide rapid and practical support to technology SMEs and venture companies in the early stages of overseas expansion.
Ambassador to Singapore Hong Jin-wook, who attended the event, said, “This year is a meaningful year as we mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Singapore. As both countries are pushing to establish a strategic partnership following Prime Minister Lawrence Wong’s visit to Korea at the end of the year, the opening of Kibo Singapore branch is all the more meaningful.” He added, “The embassy will continue to provide full support across diplomatic and administrative areas to help Korean SMEs and venture companies build a stable foundation locally and expand their global networks.”
Kim Jong-ho, CEO of Kibo, said, “Through the establishment of the Singapore branch, Kibo has laid the foundation to practically support the overseas expansion of domestic SMEs and venture companies,” and “We will continue to expand cooperation with global financial institutions, local VCs, etc. and do our best to support promising SMEs and venture companies with technological prowess to grow further in the global market.”

技術保証基金（理事長キム・ジョンホ、以下「棋保」）は１９日（木）シンガポール中心業務地区（ＣＢＤ）に初の海外支店である「シンガポール支店」を開所し、グローバル進出中小・ベンチャー企業に対する体系的な技術金融支援に乗り出すと明らかにした。
ギボの海外支店新設はこれまで推進してきたグローバル事業拡張戦略の核心成果で、東南アジアを中心とした海外進出企業と海外投資家間の連携を強化し、国内中小・ベンチャー企業の海外進出拡大のための密着型金融支援体系を構築するために推進された。
シンガポールはアジアの金融・産業ハブであり、人工知能、半導体、バイオなどディープテック分野のメカとして浮上し、グローバル進出とスケールアップのための革新拠点と評価される地域だ。棋保はここに初の海外支店を開き、中小・ベンチャー企業のグローバル生態系の造成に先頭に立つ計画だ。
この日の開所式には、現地政府及び関連機関関係者、企業人など100人余りがシンガポール支店開所を祝うために参加した。起報は▲(1部)海外進出企業支援のための技術金融方案発表▲(2部)優秀技術企業のIR進行▲(3部)シンガポール支店発展戦略討論など開所式プログラムを設け、技術金融の役割及びグローバル進出戦略を提示した。
まず、ギボは技術金融方案発表を通じて国内中小企業の海外進出促進のための総合支援体系を中心にシンガポール支店のビジョンと推進戦略を紹介し、シンガポール支店を単純な海外拠点を超えて技術金融のグローバルハブに定着させていくという計画を明らかにした。
続いて行われるイベントでは、ASEAN進出企業の海外VC投資誘致のために韓国ベンチャー投資とともに共同IRが進行された。この日、IRにはグローバルスケールアップを推進中の(株)パレット、(株)ロオディン、(株)ファーストバイオテラピュティクス、(株)アイネックスコーポレーション、(株)オートノマスエイトゥージ、(株)セラックバイオなど国内ディープテック企業が参加して投資ピッチングを行う。機会を模索した。今回のIRは、中小ベンチャー企業部傘下の棋保と韓国ベンチャー投資家が共同で推進した最初の事例で、両機関の専門性とネットワークを活用した協業を通じてシンガポールVC投資誘致のモデルに発展させていく予定だ。
また、ギボはこの日、現地でグローバル金融インフラを保有している新韓銀行と「東南アジア進出企業金融支援（Jump into SEA）のための業務協約」を締結した。今回の協約を通じて両機関は▲東南アジア進出企業対象共同金融支援▲技術力基盤評価協力▲グローバルネットワーク連携強化を推進することにした。これを通じて海外進出初期段階の技術中小・ベンチャー企業に対する迅速かつ実質的な支援がなされるようにする方針だ。
イベントに出席したホン・ジンウクジュシンガポール大使は「今年は韓・シンガポール修交50周年を迎える重要な年で、年末ローレンス・ウォン首相の訪韓を契機に両国が戦略的同伴者関係樹立を推進している中で、ギボシンガポール地点がさらに大使館は韓国中小・ベンチャー企業が現地で安定的な基盤を固め、グローバルネットワークを拡張できるように外交・行政全般にわたって全面的な支援を惜しまない」と伝えた。
キム・ジョンホ記者理事長は「起報はシンガポール支店新設を通じて国内中小・ベンチャー企業の海外進出を実質的に裏付けることができる土台を設けた」とし、「今後もグローバル金融機関、現地VCなどと協力を拡大して技術力ある有望中小・ベンチャー企業がグローバル市場でもっと大きく成長する。

韩国技术金融公社（会长金钟浩，以下简称“KIBO”） 19日（周四）宣布，将在新加坡中央商务区（CBD）开设首家海外分公司“新加坡分公司”，开始为进军全球市场的中小企业及风险企业提供系统性的技术融资支持。
Kibo海外法人的设立是其迄今为止推行的全球事业扩张战略的一个重要成果，旨在加强海外企业与特别是东南亚地区的海外投资者之间的联系，建立紧密的金融支持体系，扩大国内中小企业及风险投资企业的海外扩张。
新加坡是亚洲的金融和产业中心，也是人工智能、半导体、生物等深度科技领域的圣地，被誉为全球扩张和规模化的创新基地。Kibo计划在这里开设其首个海外分支机构，并率先为中小企业和风险投资公司打造全球生态系统。

Kibo ouvre une succursale à Singapour. « Soutenir le financement technologique des PME »
La Korea Technology Finance Corporation (président Jong-ho Kim, ci-après dénommée « KIBO ») a annoncé le 19 (jeudi) qu'elle ouvrirait sa première succursale à l'étranger, la « succursale de Singapour », dans le quartier central des affaires de Singapour (CBD) et commencerait à fournir un soutien systématique au financement technologique aux petites et moyennes entreprises et aux entreprises à capital-risque qui progressent à l'échelle mondiale.
L'établissement des succursales de Kibo à l'étranger est une réalisation clé de la stratégie d'expansion commerciale mondiale qui a été poursuivie jusqu'à présent, et a été promue pour renforcer le lien entre les entreprises étrangères et les investisseurs étrangers, en particulier en Asie du Sud-Est, et pour établir un système de soutien financier étroit pour étendre l'expansion à l'étranger des petites et moyennes entreprises nationales et des entreprises à capital-risque.
Singapour est un pôle financier et industriel en Asie et un haut lieu des technologies de pointe telles que l'intelligence artificielle, les semi-conducteurs et la biotechnologie. Tout d'abord, Kibo a présenté la vision et la stratégie de la succursale de Singapour centrée sur un système de soutien complet pour promouvoir l'expansion à l'étranger des petites et moyennes entreprises nationales à travers l'annonce de son plan de financement technologique, et a annoncé son intention d'établir la succursale de Singapour comme une plaque tournante mondiale pour le financement technologique au-delà d'une simple base à l'étranger.
Lors de l'événement qui a suivi, une réunion d'information conjointe a été organisée avec Korea Venture Investment afin d'attirer des investissements étrangers en capital-risque pour les entreprises de l'ASEAN. Alors que les deux pays s'efforcent d'établir un partenariat stratégique suite à la visite du Premier ministre Lawrence Wong en Corée à la fin de l'année, l'ouverture de la succursale Kibo à Singapour est d'autant plus significative. » Il a ajouté : « L'ambassade continuera d'apporter un soutien total dans les domaines diplomatique et administratif afin d'aider les PME et les entreprises de capital-risque coréennes à se construire une base locale stable et à étendre leurs réseaux internationaux. »
Kim Jong-ho, PDG de Kibo, a déclaré : « Grâce à la création de la succursale de Singapour, Kibo a posé les bases pour soutenir concrètement l'expansion à l'étranger des PME et des sociétés de capital-risque nationales », et « Nous continuerons à élargir la coopération avec les institutions financières mondiales, les sociétés de capital-risque locales, etc. et ferons de notre mieux pour soutenir les PME et les sociétés de capital-risque prometteuses dotées de prouesses technologiques afin de poursuivre leur croissance sur le marché mondial. »
