독일 연방 경제에너지부(Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, BMWE)의 글로벌 스타트업 지원 프로그램인 ‘저먼 엑셀러레이터(German Accelerator)’가 오는 6월 25일 서울 율촌라운지에서 ‘스타트업 저머니 나잇(Startup Germany Night)’ 행사를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 ‘혁신의 확장: 스타트업과 대기업 그리고 글로벌 시장의 연결’을 주제로, 독일과 한국 간 스타트업 협력 방안을 모색하고 양국의 혁신 생태계 간 연계를 강화하기 위한 자리로 마련됐다.
행사에는 주한독일대사관, 산업통상자원부, 한국무역협회, 주한독일상공회의소(KGCCI) 등 주요 기관 관계자들이 연사 및 패널로 참여하며, 게오르크 빌프리드 슈미트 주한독일대사와 한국무역협회 이명자 해외마케팅본부장, 산업통상자원부 및 법무법인 율촌 관계자가 개회 환영사를 진행할 예정이다.
이후 진행되는 패널토크에는 스타트투 그룹(Start2 Group) 아시아 대표 클라우스 카르트, 현대자동차그룹 오픈이노베이션 플랫폼 제로원(ZER01NE)의 이진화 책임매니저, 마이띵스 코리아(MyThings Korea)의 지니 킴 이사가 참여한다. 이들은 스타트업과 대기업 간 협업 사례와 글로벌 시장 진출 전략에 대한 인사이트를 공유할 계획이다.
행사 말미에는 KGCCI 대표 마리 안토니아 폰 쉔부르크와 독일 연방 경제에너지부 스타트업 및 디지털 허브 담당 요한 짐머만 박사, 클라우스 카르트 대표가 한국-독일 파트너십을 기념하는 네트워킹 프로그램을 진행한다.

저먼 엑셀러레이터는 독일 연방 경제에너지부가 운영하는 글로벌 스타트업 프로그램으로, 독일 스타트업의 해외 진출을 지원하고 있다. 현재 유럽, 미주, 아시아 등 주요 혁신 허브를 대상으로 맞춤형 액셀러레이팅 프로그램을 제공하며, 글로벌 엑셀러레이터 중 하나로 평가받고 있다. CB인사이트(CB Insights)가 선정한 글로벌 엑셀러레이터 순위에서 세계 14위에 올랐으며, 스타트투 그룹이 해당 프로그램을 운영하고 있다.
저먼 엑셀러레이터는 2020년부터 한국에서 활동을 이어오고 있으며, 이번 행사를 계기로 양국 간 스타트업 협력 관계를 확대할 계획이다. 이어 오는 6월 26~27일에는 독일이 주빈국으로 참가하는 ‘넥스트라이즈 2025(Nextrise 2025)’ 행사에서 독일 연방 경제에너지부와 주요 혁신 기관들이 ‘Startup Germany’ 파빌리온을 공동 운영할 예정이다. 이 자리에서는 피칭 세션과 스타트업 패널토크 등 다양한 프로그램이 마련될 예정이다.
스타트투 그룹 아시아 총괄대표 클라우스 카르트는 “스타트업 저머니 나잇과 넥스트라이즈 2025는 독일과 한국의 혁신 협력 생태계를 확장하는 계기가 될 것”이라며, “양국의 스타트업, 투자자, 전문가, 정부 및 유관 기관 간 협력 환경을 지속적으로 조성해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
‘German Accelerator’ to Host Startup Germany Night “A Bridge Between Korea and Europe”
- The event will take place on June 25 at the Yulchon Lounge, with participation from key institutions including Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany Seoul, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), Korea International Trade Association (KITA), and Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI).

German Accelerator, a global startup program supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), announced that it will host Startup Germany Night on June 25 at the Yulchon Lounge in Seoul. The event will feature key speakers and panelists from Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany Seoul, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korea International Trade Association, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The theme of this year’s Startup Germany Night is “Scaling Innovation: Connecting Startups, Corporates, and Global Markets.” The event aims to go beyond simply discussing cross-border business operations, offering meaningful insights into expanding innovation by connecting startups, corporates, and the global market. Speakers and panelists include leaders in open innovation from both Korea and abroad. Georg Schmidt, German Ambassador to Korea, Myung-ja Lee, Executive Director of Global Marketing at KITA, a representative from Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Yulchon LLC will deliver welcome remarks.
This will be followed by a panel talk titled “Expanding Innovation: Connecting Startups, Corporates, and the Global Market,” featuring Claus Karthe (CEO, Start2 Group Asia), Jinhwa Lee (Senior Manager, Hyundai ZER01NE) and Jinny Kim (Director, MyThings Korea). In addition, Marie Antonia von Schönburg, President and CEO of the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI), and Dr. Jochen Zimmermann, Head of Startups and Digital Hubs at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), together with Claus Karthe, CEO of Start2 Group Asia, will deliver closing remarks celebrating the Korea-Germany partnership.
The event will also feature 20 promising German startups presenting a range of innovative solutions. Key participants include:

German Accelerator empowers German startups to scale globally. We take high-potential companies on a fast paced learning journey to discover and access the world’s leading innovation hubs in Europe, the U.S., South America and Asia. It is part of Startup Germany, an initiative run by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), and is operated by Start2 Group, a global accelerator recently ranked as No. 3 startup hub in Europe by the Financial Times. Notably, German Accelerator was ranked 14th globally in CB Insights’ list of top global acceleration programs, alongside leading names such as Y Combinator and Techstars.
German Accelerator has been operating in Korea since 2020 and plans to use this event to further expand startup collaboration and synergy between the two nations. Leading German ecosystem builders including ▲ Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI), ▲ the City of Düsseldorf, ▲ the Digital Hub Initiative (de:hub) and ▲ Berlin Partner will participate in Startup Germany Night. At Nextrise 2025, taking place on June 26–27 with Germany participating as the Guest Country, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), together with German innovation organizations and startups, will operate the ‘German Pavilion, Startup Germany’. The pavilion will feature various programs including startup pitching and panel discussions offering insights into Germany’s startup ecosystem.

イベントには、駐韓ドイツ大使館、産業通商資源部、韓国貿易協会、在韓ドイツ商工会議所（KGCCI）など主要機関関係者が連写およびパネルとして参加し、ゲオルクビルフリード・シュミット駐韓ドイツ大使と韓国貿易協会の異名者海外マーケティング本部長、産業通商資源部および産業通商資源部予定だ。
以後進行されるパネルトークにはスタートツーグループ（Start2 Group）アジア代表クラウス・カルト、現代自動車グループオープンイノベーションプラットフォームゼロウォン（ZER01NE）の二進化責任マネージャー、マイイングスコリア（MyThings Korea）のジニー・キム理事が参加する。彼らはスタートアップと大企業間のコラボレーション事例とグローバル市場進出戦略に対するインサイトを共有する計画だ。

ジャーマン・エクセラレータは2020年から韓国で活動を続けており、今回のイベントをきっかけに両国間のスタートアップ協力関係を拡大する計画だ。続く6月26～27日にはドイツが駐貧国に参加する「ネクストライズ2025（Nextrise 2025）」行事でドイツ連邦経済エネルギー部と主要イノベーション機関が「Startup Germany」パビリオンを共同運営する予定だ。この場ではピッチングセッションやスタートアップパネルトークなど様々なプログラムが用意される予定だ。

德国加速器举办“德国创业之夜”活动
德国联邦经济能源部（BMWE）的全球创业支持项目“德国加速器”宣布，将于6月25日在首尔栗村休闲室举办“创业德国之夜”活动。
本次活动以“扩大创新：连接初创企业、大公司和全球市场”为主题，旨在探索德国和韩国初创企业之间的合作方式，并加强两国创新生态系统之间的联系。
来自德国驻韩大使馆、韩国产业通商资源部、韩国贸易协会以及韩国德国商工联合会（KGCCI）等重要机构的演讲嘉宾和专家小组成员将出席此次活动。德国驻韩大使格奥尔格·威尔弗里德·施密特、韩国贸易协会海外市场总监李明子以及韩国产业通商资源部和律村律师事务所的官员将致开幕辞。
接下来的小组讨论环节，Start2 Group Asia 首席执行官 Claus Karth、现代汽车集团开放创新平台 ZER01NE 总经理 Jinhwa Lee 以及 MyThings Korea 董事 Genie Kim 将参与其中。他们将分享初创企业与大企业合作案例以及进军全球市场的策略。

Un accélérateur allemand organise la « Startup Germany Night »
L'accélérateur allemand, un programme mondial de soutien aux startups du ministère fédéral allemand de l'Économie et de l'Énergie (BMWE), a annoncé qu'il organiserait l'événement « Startup Germany Night » au Yulchon Lounge à Séoul le 25 juin.
Sous le thème « Développer l’innovation : connecter les startups, les grandes entreprises et les marchés mondiaux », cet événement a été conçu pour explorer les moyens de collaborer entre les startups en Allemagne et en Corée et pour renforcer les liens entre les écosystèmes d’innovation des deux pays.
L'événement réunira des intervenants et des panélistes issus d'organisations majeures telles que l'ambassade d'Allemagne en Corée, le ministère du Commerce, de l'Industrie et de l'Énergie, l'Association coréenne du commerce international et la Chambre de commerce et d'industrie allemande en Corée (KGCCI). Les discours d'ouverture seront prononcés par l'ambassadeur d'Allemagne en Corée, Georg Wilfried Schmidt, le directeur du marketing international de l'Association coréenne du commerce international, Lee Myung-ja, ainsi que par des représentants du ministère du Commerce, de l'Industrie et de l'Énergie et du cabinet d'avocats Yulchon.
