자율주행 모빌리티 전문기업 오토노머스에이투지(대표 한지형, 이하 에이투지)는 유민상 최고전략책임자(CSO)가 6월 24~25일(현지시간) 오스트리아 비엔나에서 개최되는 미국 자동차공학회(SAE International)의 ‘글로벌 자율주행 심포지엄 2025(Vehicle Automation Symposium 2025)’에 초청받아 참석한다고 24일 밝혔다.
‘Vehicle Automation Symposium’은 자율주행 기술의 국제 표준인 레벨 체계를 정의한 SAE가 주최하는 연례 국제 학술행사로, 기술, 정책, 법제도 및 인프라에 걸친 자율주행 생태계 전반을 논의하는 자리다. 올해 행사는 ‘레벨4 자율주행차의 상용화’를 주제로 진행되며, 미국 교통부(DOT), 유럽신차안전성평가기관(Euro NCAP), 메르세데스-벤츠, 아우디, 마이크로소프트, 폭스바겐 등 주요 글로벌 기관 및 기업 관계자들이 참여한다.
유민상 CSO는 24일 진행되는 ‘로보택시: 도입에서 대중 수용까지(Robotaxis: From Deployment to Public Acceptance)’ 패널 세션에 참가한다. 해당 세션에서는 자율주행차 상용화 과정에서의 주요 과제와 대응 방안이 논의될 예정이며, 유 CSO는 단계적 상용화 전략의 일환으로 로보셔틀 선도 운영의 중요성을 강조하고, 한국형 레벨4 자율주행 셔틀 ‘ROii(로이)’를 사례로 한국의 상용화 로드맵을 소개한다.
또한 그는 세계에서 세 번째로 레벨4 자율주행차 법제화를 이룬 한국의 정책 환경과, 해당 법안의 입법 제안자로서의 경험, 중동 및 싱가포르 등지에서의 해외 진출 사례를 공유할 예정이다. 이번 세션에는 스웨덴 국립도로교통연구소(VTI)의 잉그리드 스코그스모 선임연구리더와 오스트리아 자율주행 기업 SURAAA의 발터 프루테이 대표도 패널로 참여한다.
에이투지는 현재 국내 자율주행차 운영 대수(55대) 및 누적 주행거리(62만km) 기준으로 업계 최다를 기록하고 있으며, 최근에는 싱가포르 공공도로에서 자율주행 운행이 가능한 M1 자율주행 면허를 한국 기업 최초로 취득했다.

Autonomous A2Z (CEO Han Ji-hyung, hereinafter A2Z), a company specializing in autonomous mobility, announced on the 24th that its Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Min-sang Yoo was invited to attend the 'Vehicle Automation Symposium 2025' hosted by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE International), to be held in Vienna, Austria on June 24-25 (local time).
The 'Vehicle Automation Symposium' is an annual international academic event hosted by SAE, which defined the level system, the international standard for autonomous driving technology, and is a place to discuss the entire autonomous driving ecosystem spanning technology, policy, legislation, and infrastructure. This year's event will be held under the theme of 'Commercialization of Level 4 Autonomous Vehicles', and key global organizations and companies such as the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), the European New Car Assessment Agency (Euro NCAP), Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Microsoft, and Volkswagen will participate.
CSO Yoo Min-sang will participate in the panel session titled 'Robotaxis: From Deployment to Public Acceptance' on the 24th. The session will discuss key challenges and countermeasures in the process of commercializing autonomous vehicles, and CSO Yoo will emphasize the importance of leading the operation of Roboshuttles as part of a phased commercialization strategy and introduce Korea's commercialization roadmap using the Korean level 4 autonomous shuttle 'ROii' as an example.
He will also share Korea’s policy environment, which is the third country in the world to have achieved legislation for level 4 autonomous vehicles, his experience as a legislative proponent of the bill, and his overseas expansion cases in the Middle East and Singapore. Ingrid Skogsmo, Senior Research Leader at Sweden’s National Road Traffic Institute (VTI), and Walter Fruthey, CEO of Austrian autonomous driving company SURAAA, will also participate as panelists in this session.
A2Z currently holds the record for the largest number of autonomous vehicles in operation (55 vehicles) and cumulative driving distance (620,000 km) in the industry, and recently became the first Korean company to obtain an M1 autonomous driving license that allows autonomous driving on public roads in Singapore.

Autonomous A2Z (PDG Han Ji-hyung, ci-après A2Z), une société spécialisée dans la mobilité autonome, a annoncé le 24 que son directeur de la stratégie (CSO) Min-sang Yoo était invité à assister au « Vehicle Automation Symposium 2025 » organisé par la Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE International), qui se tiendra à Vienne, en Autriche, du 24 au 25 juin (heure locale).
Le « Vehicle Automation Symposium » est un événement académique international annuel organisé par la SAE, qui a défini le système de niveaux, la norme internationale pour les technologies de conduite autonome. Il est également l'occasion de discuter de l'ensemble de l'écosystème de la conduite autonome, couvrant les technologies, les politiques, la législation et les infrastructures. Il présentera également le contexte politique de la Corée, troisième pays au monde à avoir adopté une législation pour les véhicules autonomes de niveau 4, son expérience en tant que promoteur législatif du projet de loi et ses projets d'expansion à l'étranger, au Moyen-Orient et à Singapour. Ingrid Skogsmo, directrice de recherche principale à l'Institut national suédois de la circulation routière (VTI), et Walter Fruthey, PDG de la société autrichienne de conduite autonome SURAAA, participeront également à cette session en tant qu'intervenants.
A2Z détient actuellement le record du plus grand nombre de véhicules autonomes en fonctionnement (55 véhicules) et de la distance de conduite cumulée (620 000 km) dans l'industrie, et est récemment devenue la première entreprise coréenne à obtenir un permis de conduire autonome M1 qui permet la conduite autonome sur la voie publique à Singapour.
