한국백혈병어린이재단(이사장 신희영)은 6월 24일 하나은행과 ‘신탁을 통한 기부문화 정착을 위한 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 유산기부 활성화를 위한 제도적 기반 마련을 목적으로 추진됐으며, 이를 통해 재단은 유산기부를 희망하는 후원자에게 하나은행의 유언대용신탁 서비스를 연계해 제공할 수 있게 됐다.
‘유언대용신탁’은 생전에 금융회사와 자산신탁 계약을 체결하고, 사후에 자산 수익자를 지정하는 방식으로, 일반적인 유언장보다 법적 안정성과 이행력이 높은 점에서 최근 기부 수단으로 주목받고 있다. 협약에 따라 하나은행은 신탁 전문 인력을 통해 맞춤형 상담과 실행 서비스를 제공할 계획이다.
재단은 이번 협약을 통해 기부자의 의도를 보다 안전하고 신속하게 실현할 수 있는 체계를 구축하게 됐다고 설명했다.
서선원 한국백혈병어린이재단 사무총장은 “유산기부에 대한 인식이 점차 확대되는 가운데, 신뢰성 있는 제도를 통해 후원자의 뜻을 안정적으로 실현할 수 있게 됐다”며 “소아암 어린이를 위한 지원이 미래세대를 위한 희망으로 이어질 수 있도록 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation signs business agreement with Hana Bank
The Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation (Chairman Shin Hee-young) announced on June 24 that it signed a ‘MOU for establishing a culture of donation through trust’ with Hana Bank .
This agreement was promoted with the aim of establishing an institutional foundation for activating legacy donations, and through this, the foundation will be able to provide Hana Bank’s testamentary trust service to sponsors who wish to make legacy donations.
'Testamentary trust' is a method of signing an asset trust contract with a financial company before death and designating the asset beneficiary after death. It has recently been gaining attention as a donation method because it has higher legal stability and enforceability than a general will. According to the agreement, Hana Bank plans to provide customized consulting and execution services through trust experts.
The foundation explained that through this agreement, it has established a system that can realize the donor's intentions more safely and quickly.
Seo Seon-won, Secretary General of the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation, said, “As awareness of legacy donation is gradually expanding, we are now able to carry out the wishes of donors stably through a reliable system,” and “We will continue to work to ensure that support for children with pediatric cancer can lead to hope for future generations.”

韓国白血病子供財団（理事長シン・ヒヨン）は６月２４日、ハナ銀行と「信託による寄付文化定着のための業務協約（ＭＯＵ）」を締結したと明らかにした。
今回の条約は、遺産寄付の活性化のための制度的基盤の構築を目的として推進され、これを通じて財団は遺産寄付を希望する後援者にハナ銀行の遺言代用信託サービスを連携して提供できるようになった。

韩国儿童白血病财团（会长申熙英） 24日表示，已与韩亚银行签署了“关于构建信托捐赠文化的谅解备忘录”。
此次协议旨在建立激活遗产捐赠的制度基础，并通过该机制，为希望进行遗产捐赠的赞助人提供韩亚银行的遗嘱信托服务。
“遗嘱信托”是指在去世前与金融公司签订资产信托合同，并在去世后指定资产受益人的方式。由于其比一般遗嘱具有更高的法律稳定性和可执行性，近年来作为一种捐赠方式备受关注。根据协议，韩亚银行计划通过信托专家提供定制化的咨询和执行服务。
该基金会解释称，通过该协议，建立了一个可以更安全、更快速地实现捐赠者意愿的系统。
韩国儿童白血病财团事务长徐善元表示，“随着遗产捐赠意识的逐渐提高，我们能够通过可靠的体系稳定地实现捐赠者的愿望”，“我们将继续努力，确保对儿童癌症患儿的援助能够给子孙后代带来希望”。
