기술보증기금(이사장 김종호, 이하 ‘기보’)은 25일(수) 포항공과대학교기술지주㈜(대표이사 고병철, 이하 ‘포스텍홀딩스’)와 ‘기술중심 스타트업의 투자활성화를 위한 업무협약’을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 기보의 기술금융 역량과 포텍홀딩스의 창업기업 보육 전문성을 결합해 지방 소재 기술 기반 스타트업에 대한 복합금융 지원체계를 구축하고, 지역 창업 생태계의 선순환을 촉진하기 위해 마련됐다.
협약에 따라 기보는 보증·투자 지원 기업 중 우수 창업기업을, 포스텍홀딩스는 보육 중인 유망 스타트업을 상호 추천하며, 양 기관은 이들 기업에 대한 공동 투자 및 IR데이 공동 개최 등 후속 지원을 통해 시너지 효과를 창출할 계획이다.
특히 기보는 추천받은 기업에 대해 보증·투자 등 기술금융을 연계 지원하고, 컨설팅·기술이전 등 비금융 프로그램도 함께 제공할 예정이다. 기술금융 선도기관인 기보와 딥테크 창업기업 전문 투자기관인 포스텍홀딩스가 협력함으로써 창업 초기부터 스케일업 단계까지 지역 기술중소기업에 대한 입체적이고 효과적인 지원이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
이상창 기보 이사는 “이번 업무협약은 지방 투자생태계 활성화를 위해 기보와 지역의 전문 투자기관이 뜻을 모았다는 데 의미가 있다”며, “기보는 앞으로도 기술력은 우수하나 자금조달에 어려움을 겪는 지방 스타트업 지원을 위해 유관기관과의 협력을 더욱 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Kibo, Pohang University of Science and Technology Technology Holdings Sign Business Agreement
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KTFC) (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as “KIBO”) announced on Wednesday the 25th that it signed a “Business Agreement for Activating Investment in Technology-Centered Startups” with Pohang University of Science and Technology Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. (CEO Koh Byeong-cheol, hereinafter referred to as “POSTECH Holdings”) .
This agreement was created to combine Kibo’s technology finance capabilities with Potech Holdings’ expertise in nurturing startups to build a complex financial support system for local technology-based startups and to promote a virtuous cycle in the local startup ecosystem.
According to the agreement, Kibo will recommend excellent startups among the companies receiving guarantee and investment support, and POSTECH Holdings will recommend promising startups it is nurturing. The two organizations plan to create synergy effects through follow-up support such as joint investment in these companies and joint hosting of IR days.
In particular, Kibo will provide technical finance support such as guarantees and investments for recommended companies, and will also provide non-financial programs such as consulting and technology transfer. The collaboration between Kibo, a leading technical finance organization, and Postech Holdings, a specialized investment organization for deep-tech startups, is expected to enable three-dimensional and effective support for regional technology SMEs from the initial startup stage to the scale-up stage.
Lee Sang-chang, CEO of Kibo, said, “This business agreement is significant in that Kibo and local professional investment organizations have joined forces to revitalize the local investment ecosystem,” and added, “Going forward, Kibo will further strengthen cooperation with relevant organizations to support local startups that have excellent technological prowess but are having difficulties in raising funds.”

ギボ、浦項工科大学技術持株と業務協約締結
技術保証基金（理事長キム・ジョンホ、以下「起報」）は２５日（水）浦項工科大学技術持株（代表取締役、ゴ・ビョンチョル、以下「フォステックホールディングス」）と「技術中心スタートアップの投資活性化のための業務協約」を締結したと明らかにした。
今回の協約は、ギボの技術金融能力とポテックホールディングスの創業企業保育専門性を組み合わせ、地方素材技術基盤のスタートアップに対する複合金融支援体系を構築し、地域創業生態系の好循環を促進するために設けられた。
条約に基づき寄贈する保証・投資支援企業の中で優秀創業企業を、フォステックホールディングスは保育中の有望スタートアップを相互推薦し、両機関はこれら企業に対する共同投資及びIRデー共同開催など後続支援を通じて相乗効果を創出する計画だ。
特に起報は推薦された企業に対して保証・投資など技術金融を連携支援し、コンサルティング・技術移転など非金融プログラムも一緒に提供する予定だ。技術金融先導機関であるギボとディープテック創業企業専門投資機関であるフォステックホールディングスが協力することで、創業初期からスケールアップ段階まで、地域技術中小企業に対する立体的かつ効果的な支援が可能と期待される。
イ・サンチャンギボ理事は「今回の業務協約は地方投資生態系活性化のためにギボと地域の専門投資機関が意志を集めたことに意味がある」とし、「ギボは今後も技術力は優れているが、資金調達に困難を経験する地方スタートアップ支援のために関連機関との協力をさらに強化していく」と述べた。

韩国希望株式会社与浦项理工大学技术控股公司签署业务协议
韩国技术金融公司（KTFC）（会长金钟浩，以下简称“KIBO”）于25日（周三）宣布，与浦项工科大学技术控股株式会社（代表理事高炳哲，以下简称“浦项科技控股”）签署了《关于激活技术型初创企业投资的业务协议》。
此次协议旨在将Kibo的科技金融能力与Potech Holdings在培育初创企业方面的专业知识相结合，为本地科技型初创企业构建一个复杂的金融支持系统，并促进本地初创企业生态系统的良性循环。
根据协议，Kibo将在获得担保和投资支持的企业中推荐优秀的初创企业，浦项科技控股公司则将推荐其正在培育的有潜力的初创企业。两家机构计划通过对这些企业进行联合投资、联合举办投资者关系日等后续支持，创造协同效应。

La Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KTFC) (président Kim Jong-ho, ci-après dénommée « KIBO ») a annoncé mercredi 25 avoir signé un « accord commercial pour activer l'investissement dans les startups axées sur la technologie » avec Pohang University of Science and Technology Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. (PDG Koh Byeong-cheol, ci-après dénommée « POSTECH Holdings ») .
Cet accord a été créé pour combiner les capacités de financement technologique de Kibo avec l'expertise de Potech Holdings dans le développement de startups afin de construire un système de soutien financier complexe pour les startups locales basées sur la technologie et de promouvoir un cercle vertueux dans l'écosystème des startups locales.
Selon l'accord, Kibo recommandera d'excellentes startups parmi les entreprises bénéficiant d'une garantie et d'un soutien à l'investissement, et POSTECH Holdings recommandera les startups prometteuses qu'elle soutient.
