제주창조경제혁신센터(대표이사 이병선, 이하 제주센터)가 출범 10주년을 맞아 6월 26일 제주벤처마루 3층 J-space에서 기념행사를 개최하고, 지난 10년간의 운영 성과를 공유하는 한편 향후 10년을 위한 중장기 비전을 제시했다.
이날 행사는 제주특별자치도, 제주도의회, 지방중소벤처기업청 관계자 및 스타트업·유관기관 등 약 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다. 행사는 미디어 브리핑을 시작으로 ▲1부 기념식 ▲2부 제주창업생태계포럼 X 인베스터데이 ▲3부 스타트업 홈커밍데이 및 네트워킹으로 구성됐다.
이병선 대표는 기념사에서 제주센터의 향후 역할로 ▲투자 및 스케일업 기능 강화 ▲개방형 혁신 허브 구축 ▲지역 창업 네트워크 주도 등 세 가지 방향을 중심으로 한 ‘지역 벤처 빌더’로서의 10년 비전을 발표했다.
제주센터는 지난 10년간 기술 기반 스타트업과 로컬크리에이터를 대상으로 한 다양한 육성 프로그램을 운영해 왔다. 2023년 말 기준, 총 416개 보육기업이 센터에 등록되어 있으며, 이들 기업의 연간 매출은 2,657억 원, 고용 인원은 1,645명에 달한다.
투자 성과도 두드러진다. 2018년부터 총 55건의 직접 투자를 통해 46개 기업에 52.6억 원을 투자했으며, 이를 기반으로 한 후속 투자 유치 금액은 누적 901억 원에 이른다. 투자기업의 총 기업가치는 2018년 1,876억 원에서 2023년 6,134억 원으로 약 3.3배 증가했다. 특히 투자기업인 ㈜컨텍은 2023년 11월 코스닥에 상장, 투자금 대비 21배의 회수 실적을 기록했다.
센터는 2023년부터 팁스(TIPS) 운영사로 지정돼 기술기반 창업팀에 대한 R&D 자금 확보를 지원하고 있으며, 지난 2년간 추천한 10개 팀이 전원 선정돼 76억 원의 정부 자금을 확보했다. 이 중 우주항공 분야 스타트업 스펙스는 딥테크 팁스에 선정됐다.
또한 제주센터는 유망 로컬 창업가 발굴 및 육성을 위한 립스(LIPS) 프로그램의 협력기관으로 활동 중이며, 2년간 13건의 우수 사례를 발굴하고 8건을 정부 사업과 연계해 총 7억 원의 자금 확보를 지원했다. 2023년과 2024년 연속으로 전국 최우수 로컬크리에이터를 배출하기도 했다.
기념행사 2부에서는 ‘글로벌 스타트업 허브를 향한 혁신 생태계 전략’을 주제로 한 호남대학교 최은지 교수의 기조 강연이 이어졌으며, 이후 제주센터와 협력 관계에 있는 투자사, 대기업, 스타트업들의 사례 발표가 진행됐다. 특히 제주 초기 스타트업 육성 펀드를 공동 운용 중인 엠와이소셜컴퍼니 김정태 대표, 파트너 대기업인 카카오의 이재승 이사, 센터 투자기업인 컨텍과 제클린의 대표가 각각 지역 투자, 오픈이노베이션, 스타트업 성장 사례를 공유했다.
제주센터는 앞으로도 창업 생태계 조성과 지역 경제 활성화를 위한 다양한 방안을 추진할 계획이다.

Jeju Center, 10th Anniversary Commemorative Event Held.. “Announcement of Vision for the Next 10 Years”
Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Lee Byeong-seon, hereinafter referred to as Jeju Center) held a commemorative event on June 26th at J-space on the 3rd floor of Jeju Venture Maru to celebrate its 10th anniversary, sharing the operational achievements of the past 10 years and presenting a mid- to long-term vision for the next 10 years.
The event was held on this day with approximately 100 people in attendance, including officials from Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Jeju Provincial Council, the Local SMEs and Startups Administration, startups, and related organizations. The event began with a media briefing and consisted of ▲Part 1: Commemorative Ceremony ▲Part 2: Jeju Startup Ecosystem Forum X Investor Day ▲Part 3: Startup Homecoming Day and Networking.
In his commemorative speech, CEO Lee Byeong-seon announced a 10-year vision as a “regional venture builder” centered on three directions for the future role of the Jeju Center: ▲strengthening investment and scale-up functions, ▲establishing an open innovation hub, and ▲leading a regional startup network.
Jeju Center has been operating various incubation programs for technology-based startups and local creators for the past 10 years. As of the end of 2023, a total of 416 incubation companies are registered with the center, and these companies have annual sales of 265.7 billion won and employ 1,645 people.
Investment performance is also outstanding. Since 2018, a total of 55 direct investments have been made to 46 companies, totaling 5.26 billion won, and the follow-up investment amount based on this has reached a cumulative 90.1 billion won. The total corporate value of the invested companies increased by about 3.3 times from 187.6 billion won in 2018 to 613.4 billion won in 2023. In particular, the invested company, Contec Co., Ltd., was listed on KOSDAQ in November 2023 and recorded a recovery performance of 21 times the investment amount.
The center has been designated as a TIPS operator since 2023, and has been supporting R&D funding for technology-based startup teams. Over the past two years, 10 teams recommended have all been selected, securing 7.6 billion won in government funding. Among them, aerospace startup Specs was selected for Deep Tech TIPS.
In addition, Jeju Center is working as a partner organization of the LIPS program for discovering and nurturing promising local entrepreneurs, and has discovered 13 excellent cases over the past two years, linked 8 cases with government projects, and secured a total of 700 million won in funding. It has also produced the nation's best local creators for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024.
The second part of the commemorative event featured a keynote speech by Professor Eun-ji Choi of Honam University on the topic of “Innovation Ecosystem Strategy for a Global Startup Hub,” followed by case presentations by investment firms, large corporations, and startups that have partnerships with the Jeju Center. In particular, CEO Jeong-tae Kim of MY Social Company, which is jointly operating the Jeju Early Startup Incubation Fund, Director Jae-seung Lee of Kakao, a large corporation that is a partner, and representatives of Contec and Jecklin, which are investment companies of the Center, shared their regional investment, open innovation, and startup growth cases, respectively.
Jeju Center plans to continue to pursue various measures to create a startup ecosystem and revitalize the local economy.

済州センターは過去10年間、技術ベースのスタートアップとローカルクリエーターを対象とした多様な育成プログラムを運営してきた。 2023年末基準で、合計416の保育企業がセンターに登録されており、これら企業の年間売上は2,657億ウォン、雇用人員は1,645人に達する。
投資成果も目立つ。 2018年から合計55件の直接投資を通じて46社に52.6億ウォンを投資し、これを基盤とした後続投資誘致金額は累積901億ウォンに達する。投資企業の総企業価値は2018年1,876億ウォンから2023年6,134億ウォンに約3.3倍増加した。特に投資企業である(株)コンテックは2023年11月、コスダックに上場、投資金比21倍の回収実績を記録した。
センターは2023年からティップス(TIPS)運営会社に指定され、技術基盤創業チームに対するR&D資金確保を支援しており、過去2年間に推薦した10チームが全員選定され、76億ウォンの政府資金を確保した。このうち宇宙航空分野のスタートアップスペックスはディープテックチップスに選ばれた。
また済州センターは有望ローカル創業者が発掘及び育成のためのリップス(LIPS)プログラムの協力機関として活動中であり、2年間13件の優秀事例を発掘し、8件を政府事業と連携して合計7億ウォンの資金確保を支援した。 2023年と2024年連続で全国最優秀ローカルクリエイターを排出した。
記念行事2部では「グローバルスタートアップハブに向けた革新生態系戦略」をテーマにした湖南大学チェ・ウンジ教授の基調講演が続き、以後済州センターと協力関係にある投資会社、大企業、スタートアップの事例発表が行われた。特に済州初期スタートアップ育成ファンドを共同運用中のエムワイソーシャルカンパニーの金正泰代表、パートナー大企業のカカオのイ・ジェスン理事、センター投資企業のコンテクとジェクリンの代表がそれぞれ地域投資、オープンイノベーション、スタートアップ成長事例を共有した。
済州センターは今後も創業生態系の造成と地域経済活性化のための多様な方案を推進する計画だ。

济州创造经济革新中心（代表李秉善，以下简称济州中心）于6月26日在济州风险投资丸3楼J-space举办了成立10周年纪念活动，分享了过去10年的运营成果，并提出了未来10年的中长期愿景。

济州中心过去10年来一直运营各种孵化项目，面向科技型初创企业和本地创意人士。截至2023年底，共有416家孵化公司在该中心注册，这些公司的年销售额达2657亿韩元，员工人数达1645人。
投资业绩也十分亮眼。自2018年以来，共对46家企业进行了55笔直接投资，总额达52.6亿韩元，以此为基础的后续投资额累计达901亿韩元。被投资企业的法人总价值从2018年的1876亿韩元增长至2023年的6134亿韩元，增长了约3.3倍。值得一提的是，被投资企业CONTEC株式会社于2023年11月在科斯达克上市，创下了投资额21倍的回收业绩。
该中心自2023年起被指定为TIPS运营机构，并一直为技术型初创团队提供研发资金支持。过去两年，推荐的10个团队全部入选，获得了76亿韩元的政府资助。其中，航空航天初创企业Specs入选了Deep Tech TIPS。
此外，济州中心作为LIPS项目的合作伙伴机构，致力于发掘和培养有潜力的本土创业者，在过去两年中发掘了13个优秀案例，并将8个案例与政府项目对接，共获得7亿韩元的资助。此外，济州中心还于2023年和2024年连续两年荣获“韩国最佳本土创意者”称号。
纪念活动的第二部分由韩国湖南大学崔恩智教授就“全球创业中心的创新生态系统战略”发表主旨演讲，随后与济州中心合作的投资公司、大型企业以及初创企业进行了案例分享。其中，共同运营济州早期创业孵化基金的MY Social Company的代表金正泰、合作大型企业Kakao的理事李在承以及济州中心的投资公司Contec和Jecklin的代表分别分享了区域投资、开放式创新以及初创企业成长方面的案例。
济州中心计划继续采取各种措施，打造创业生态系统，振兴地区经济。

Le Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center (PDG Lee Byeong-seon, ci-après dénommé Jeju Center) a organisé un événement commémoratif le 26 juin au J-space au 3ème étage du Jeju Venture Maru pour célébrer son 10ème anniversaire, partageant les réalisations opérationnelles des 10 dernières années et présentant une vision à moyen et long terme pour les 10 prochaines années.
L'événement s'est tenu ce jour-là en présence d'une centaine de personnes, dont des représentants de la province autonome spéciale de Jeju, du Conseil provincial de Jeju, de l'Administration locale des PME et des startups, de startups et d'organisations associées. L'événement a débuté par une conférence de presse et s'est déroulé comme suit : ▲Partie 1 : Cérémonie commémorative ▲Partie 2 : Journée des investisseurs du Jeju Startup Ecosystem Forum X ▲Partie 3 : Journée de retour des startups et réseautage.
Dans son discours commémoratif, le PDG Lee Byeong-seon a annoncé une vision sur 10 ans en tant que « constructeur d'entreprises régionales » centrée sur trois directions pour le rôle futur du Jeju Center : ▲renforcer les fonctions d'investissement et de mise à l'échelle, ▲établir un pôle d'innovation ouvert et ▲diriger un réseau régional de startups.
Depuis dix ans, le Jeju Center propose divers programmes d'incubation pour les startups technologiques et les créateurs locaux. Fin 2023, 416 entreprises incubées étaient enregistrées auprès du centre, générant un chiffre d'affaires annuel de 265,7 milliards de wons et employant 1 645 personnes.
Les performances d'investissement sont également exceptionnelles. Depuis 2018, 55 investissements directs ont été réalisés auprès de 46 entreprises, pour un montant total de 5,26 milliards de wons, et le montant des investissements complémentaires a atteint un total cumulé de 90,1 milliards de wons. La valeur totale des entreprises investies a été multipliée par 3,3 environ, passant de 187,6 milliards de wons en 2018 à 613,4 milliards de wons en 2023. En particulier, la société investie, Contec Co., Ltd., a été cotée au KOSDAQ en novembre 2023 et a enregistré une performance de recouvrement de 21 fois le montant de l'investissement.
Le centre est désigné opérateur TIPS depuis 2023 et soutient le financement de la R&D des startups technologiques. Au cours des deux dernières années, les dix équipes recommandées ont été sélectionnées, obtenant un financement public de 7,6 milliards de wons. Parmi elles, la startup aérospatiale Specs a été sélectionnée pour le programme Deep Tech TIPS.
Par ailleurs, le Centre de Jeju collabore avec le programme LIPS pour découvrir et accompagner les entrepreneurs locaux prometteurs. Au cours des deux dernières années, il a identifié 13 excellents projets, associé 8 projets à des projets gouvernementaux et obtenu un financement total de 700 millions de wons. Il a également formé les meilleurs créateurs locaux du pays pendant deux années consécutives, en 2023 et 2024.
La deuxième partie de l'événement commémoratif a été marquée par un discours d'ouverture du professeur Eun-ji Choi de l'Université Honam sur le thème « Stratégie d'écosystème d'innovation pour un pôle mondial de startups », suivi de présentations de cas par des sociétés d'investissement, de grandes entreprises et des startups partenaires du Centre de Jeju. Jeong-tae Kim, PDG de MY Social Company, co-gérant du Fonds d'incubation de startups de Jeju, Jae-seung Lee, directeur de Kakao, grande entreprise partenaire, et des représentants de Contec et Jecklin, sociétés d'investissement du Centre, ont présenté leurs cas respectifs d'investissement régional, d'innovation ouverte et de croissance de startups.
Le Jeju Center prévoit de continuer à mettre en œuvre diverses mesures pour créer un écosystème de startups et revitaliser l'économie locale.
