크릿벤처스(대표 송재준)의 미국 지사 크릿벤처스USA(대표 오종욱)는 AI 콘텐츠 스타트업 어보브테크(공동대표 최주원·정성원)에 시드 투자를 집행했다고 15일 밝혔다.
이번 투자 라운드는 크릿벤처스USA 오종욱 대표의 주도로 진행됐으며, 지디벤처스와 서울대창업네트워크 엔젤클럽이 공동으로 참여했다. 오 대표는 크릿벤처스 합류 이전에도 당근마켓, 자비스, 딥엑스 등 다수의 초기 투자에 참여한 이력을 보유하고 있다.
어보브테크는 인공지능(AI)을 기반으로 한 콘텐츠 플랫폼을 개발하는 스타트업으로, AI 상담 챗봇 서비스 ‘젠디(Zendi)’와 AI 메모리얼 플랫폼 ‘디어에버(dearever)’ 등을 운영하고 있다.
최주원 어보브테크 공동대표는 “AI를 기반으로 콘텐츠 분야의 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 플랫폼을 만드는 것이 목표”라며 “K-AI 콘텐츠를 통해 세계 시장에서 영향력 있는 콘텐츠 플랫폼으로 성장하겠다”고 밝혔다.
오종욱 크릿벤처스USA 대표는 “어보브테크는 콘텐츠에 대한 감각과 실행력을 갖춘 팀”이라며 “인터랙티브 콘텐츠 시장에서 차별화된 이용자 경험을 제공하며 빠르게 성장할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.

Crit Ventures USA Makes Seed Investment in AboveTech
Crit Ventures USA (CEO Jongwook Oh), the US branch of Crit Ventures (CEO Jaejun Song), announced on the 15th that it had made a seed investment in AI content startup AboveTech (Co-CEOs Joowon Choi and Seongwon Jeong).
This investment round was led by Jong-wook Oh, CEO of Crit Ventures USA, with joint participation from GD Ventures and Seoul National University Startup Network Angel Club. Prior to joining Crit Ventures, CEO Oh had participated in numerous early-stage investments, including Carrot Market, Jarvis, and DeepX.
AboveTech is a startup that develops content platforms based on artificial intelligence (AI), and operates AI consulting chatbot service ‘Zendi’ and AI memorial platform ‘dearever’.
Choi Joo-won, co-CEO of Abovetech, said, “Our goal is to create a platform with global competitiveness in the content field based on AI,” and “We will grow into an influential content platform in the global market through K-AI content.”
“Abovetech is a team with a sense for content and execution capabilities,” said Jongwook Oh, CEO of Crit Ventures USA. “We expect that they will be able to provide a differentiated user experience in the interactive content market and grow rapidly.”

クリットベンチャーズ(代表ソン・ジェジュン)の米国知事クリットベンチャーズUSA(代表オ・ジョンウク)はAIコンテンツスタートアップアボブテック(共同代表チェ・ジュウォン・チョン・ソンウォン)にシード投資を執行したと15日明らかにした。

Crit Ventures（代表：宋在俊）美国分公司Crit Ventures USA（代表：吴钟旭）15日宣布，对AI内容初创公司AboveTech（联合代表：崔周元、郑成元）进行了种子投资。
本轮融资由 Crit Ventures USA 首席执行官吴钟旭 (Jong-wook Oh) 领投，GD Ventures 和首尔国立大学创业网络天使俱乐部 (Seoul National University Startup Network Angel Club) 联合跟投。在加入 Crit Ventures 之前，吴首席执行官曾参与过 Carrot Market、Jarvis 和 DeepX 等众多早期投资项目。

Crit Ventures USA (PDG Jongwook Oh), la branche américaine de Crit Ventures (PDG Jaejun Song), a annoncé le 15 avoir réalisé un investissement d'amorçage dans la startup de contenu IA AboveTech (co-PDG Joowon Choi et Seongwon Jeong).
Ce tour de table a été mené par Jong-wook Oh, PDG de Crit Ventures USA, avec la participation conjointe de GD Ventures et du Seoul National University Startup Network Angel Club.
