코리아스타트업포럼(의장 한상우, 이하 코스포)은 16일 주한영국대사관 애스턴홀에서 국내 유망 딥테크 스타트업의 유럽 시장 진출을 지원하는 실전형 IR 프로그램 ‘KSF IR Day with British Embassy’를 개최했다고 17일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 컴업(COMEUP) 2025의 사전 프로그램으로 진행됐으며, 컴업의 글로벌 네트워크를 유럽 시장으로 확장하는 한편, 국내 딥테크 스타트업의 해외 진출 역량 강화와 유럽 시장과의 실질적 접점을 마련하기 위해 기획됐다. 코스포는 이번 행사를 통해 주한영국대사관과 영국 국제통상부 등과 공식 교류 채널을 구축했다.
IR 피칭 참가 기업 선발을 위한 사전 모집에는 AI, 로봇, 헬스케어 등 첨단 기술 분야 스타트업 77개 팀이 지원해 약 13대 1의 경쟁률을 기록했다. 이 중 ▲메디올로지 ▲세븐포인트원 ▲큐빅 ▲에이트테크 ▲스튜디오갈릴레이 ▲포트래이 등 6개사가 최종 선정돼 현장 발표를 진행했다. 이들은 기술력과 글로벌 확장 전략을 소개했으며, 발표는 전 과정 영어로 진행됐다.
심사는 노석훈 굿띵스 파트너, 박종한 스파크랩 상무, 이태규 우리벤처파트너스 팀장이 맡았으며, 영국 시장 진입 가능성, 사업 모델의 글로벌 확장성, 기술 차별성 및 실현 가능성 등을 종합적으로 평가했다. 심사위원단은 유럽 진출 경험을 바탕으로 구체적인 피드백과 조언을 제공했다.
최종 우승은 AI 바이오 분야 스타트업 포트래이가 차지했다. 포트래이는 AI 기반 공간전사체 기술을 활용해 신약 개발의 효율성과 정밀도를 향상시킨 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다. 우승팀에는 컴업 2025 전시부스 지원, 런던 테크위크 2026 참가, 영국 현지 투자자 및 파트너 기관과의 비즈니스 매칭 기회가 제공된다. 또한, 6개사 전원에게 코스포 정회원사 1년 무료 가입 혜택이 주어졌다.
행사에서는 센스톤의 영국 법인 스위치(swIDch) 오수현 Chief of Staff가 영국 정부의 글로벌 기업가 프로그램(GEP)을 통한 성공 사례를 발표했다. 현지 법인 설립, 네트워킹, 투자 유치, 인허가 절차 등 진출 과정 전반에서 얻은 경험과 전략을 공유하며, 후속 스타트업들이 활용할 수 있는 실무적 방안과 제도적 자원을 소개했다.
최지영 코스포 상임이사는 “스타트업의 글로벌 진출은 생존과 성장을 위한 핵심 전략”이라며 “영국 정부와 함께 국내 혁신 자원의 세계 진출을 지원하는 기회를 마련했으며, 앞으로도 컴업을 비롯한 다양한 실전형 프로그램으로 국내 스타트업의 글로벌 비즈니스 기회 확대를 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
토니 클렘슨 주한영국대사관 산업통상부 상무 참사관은 “영국은 1조 1천억 달러 이상의 가치와 150개 이상의 유니콘, 25,000개 이상의 투자 유치 스타트업을 보유한 유럽 최대이자 세계 3위의 스타트업 생태계”라며 “한국과 영국이 AI, 양자 기술 등 딥테크 분야에서 협력해 차세대 기술 혁신을 공동 선도하길 기대한다”고 말했다.

COSPHO and British Embassy in Korea hold 'IR Day'
The Korea Startup Forum (Chairman Sangwoo Han, hereinafter referred to as KSF) announced on the 17th that it held 'KSF IR Day with British Embassy', a practical IR program to support promising domestic deep-tech startups' entry into the European market, at the Aston Hall of the British Embassy in Korea on the 16th.
This event was held as a pre-program for COMEUP 2025, and was planned to expand COMEUP’s global network to the European market, while strengthening the overseas expansion capabilities of domestic deep-tech startups and establishing practical contact points with the European market. Through this event, COSPO established official exchange channels with the British Embassy in Korea and the UK Department for International Trade.
In the preliminary recruitment for selecting IR pitching participating companies, 77 startup teams in cutting-edge technology fields such as AI, robots, and healthcare applied, recording a competition rate of about 13 to 1. Of these, 6 companies, including ▲Mediology ▲Sevenpointone ▲Cubic ▲Eighttech ▲StudioGalilei ▲Portray, were finally selected and gave on-site presentations. They introduced their technological prowess and global expansion strategies, and the presentations were conducted entirely in English.
The judges were Noh Seok-hoon, Good Things Partner, Park Jong-han, Sparklabs Managing Director, and Lee Tae-gyu, Woori Venture Partners Team Leader, and they comprehensively evaluated the possibility of entering the UK market, the global scalability of the business model, technological differentiation, and feasibility. The judges provided specific feedback and advice based on their experience entering Europe.
The final winner was AI bio startup Portray. Portray received high marks for improving the efficiency and precision of new drug development by utilizing AI-based spatial transcriptome technology. The winning team will be provided with a booth at ComeUp 2025, participation in London Tech Week 2026, and business matching opportunities with local investors and partner organizations in the UK. In addition, all six companies were given the benefit of free membership in COSPO for one year.
At the event, Oh Su-hyeon, Chief of Staff of swIDch, the UK subsidiary of Senstone, presented a success story through the UK government’s Global Entrepreneur Program (GEP). He shared his experiences and strategies gained throughout the entire process of entry, including local corporation establishment, networking, investment attraction, and licensing procedures, and introduced practical measures and institutional resources that follow-up startups can utilize.
Choi Ji-young, Executive Director of Cospo, said, “For startups, global expansion is a key strategy for survival and growth,” and added, “Together with the British government, we have created an opportunity to support the global expansion of domestic innovative resources, and we will continue to actively support the expansion of global business opportunities for domestic startups through various practical programs, including ComeUp.”
Tony Clemson, Commercial Counsellor at the British Embassy in Seoul’s Department of Trade, Industry and Energy, said, “The UK has the largest startup ecosystem in Europe and the third largest in the world, with a value of over $1.1 trillion, over 150 unicorns, and over 25,000 invested startups. I hope that Korea and the UK will work together in deep tech fields such as AI and quantum technology to jointly lead the next generation of technological innovation.”

コリアスタートアップフォーラム(議長ハン・サンウ、以下コスポ)は16日、駐韓イギリス大使館アストンホールで国内有望ディープテックスタートアップの欧州市場進出を支援する実戦型IRプログラム「KSF IR Day with British Embassy」を開催したと17日明らかにした。
今回のイベントはCOMUP 2025の事前プログラムで行われ、コンプのグローバルネットワークを欧州市場に拡張する一方、国内ディープテックスタートアップの海外進出力量強化と欧州市場との実質的な接点を設けるために企画された。コスポは今回の行事を通じて在韓英国大使館と英国国際通商部などと公式交流チャネルを構築した。
IRピッチング参加企業選抜のための事前募集にはAI、ロボット、ヘルスケアなど先端技術分野のスタートアップ77チームが支援し、約13対1の競争率を記録した。このうち▲メディアオロジー▲セブンポイントワン▲キュービック▲エイトテック▲スタジオガリレー▲ポートレイなど6社が最終選定され現場発表を進行した。彼らは技術力とグローバル拡張戦略を紹介し、発表は全コース英語で行われた。
審査はノ・ソクフンのグッドニップスパートナー、パク・ジョンハンスパークラップ常務、イ・テギュウリベンチャーパートナーズチーム長が務め、イギリス市場参入可能性、事業モデルのグローバル拡張性、技術差別性及び実現可能性などを総合的に評価した。審査委員団は欧州進出経験をもとに具体的なフィードバックとアドバイスを提供した。
最終優勝はAIバイオ分野のスタートアップフォートレイが占めた。ポートレイはAIベースの空間転写体技術を活用して新薬開発の効率性と精度を向上させた点で高い評価を受けた。優勝チームには、コンプ2025展示ブースサポート、ロンドンテックウィーク2026参加、イギリスの現地投資家およびパートナー機関とのビジネスマッチング機会が提供される。また、6社全員にコスポ正会員社1年無料加入特典が与えられた。
イベントでは、センストンのイギリス法人スイッチ（swIDch）オ・スヒョンChief of Staffが、イギリス政府のグローバル起業家プログラム（GEP）による成功事例を発表した。現地法人設立、ネットワーキング、投資誘致、認可手続きなど進出過程全般で得た経験と戦略を共有し、その後のスタートアップが活用できる実務的案と制度的資源を紹介した。
チェ・ジヨンコスポ常任理事は「スタートアップのグローバル進出は生存と成長のための核心戦略」とし「イギリス政府と共に国内革新資源の世界進出を支援する機会を設け、これからもコンプをはじめとする多様な実戦型プログラムで国内スタートアップのグローバルビジネス機会拡大を積極的に支援する」と明らかにした。
トニー・クレムソン駐韓イギリス大使館産業通商部常務参事官は「イギリスは1兆1千億ドル以上の価値と150個以上のユニコーン、25,000以上の投資誘致スタートアップを保有したヨーロッパ最大で世界3位のスタートアップエコシステム」とし「韓国と英国がAI技術、先導することを期待する」と話した。

韩国创业论坛（会长：韩相宇，以下简称KSF）17日表示，为支持韩国有前景的深度科技创业公司进军欧洲市场，于16日在英国驻韩大使馆阿斯顿厅举办了“KSF IR Day with British Embassy”活动，这是一项实用性的IR项目。
本次活动是COMEUP 2025的预演活动，旨在将COMEUP的全球网络拓展至欧洲市场，同时加强韩国深度科技初创企业的海外拓展能力，并建立与欧洲市场的实际联系点。COSPO通过本次活动与英国驻韩大使馆和英国国际贸易部建立了官方交流渠道。
在IR路演参与企业的初选招募中，共有77支来自AI、机器人、医疗等尖端技术领域的创业团队报名，竞争率约为13比1。最终，▲Mediology ▲Sevenpointone ▲Cubic ▲Eighttech ▲StudioGalilei ▲Portray等6家公司入选，并在现场进行了演示。这些公司介绍了各自的技术实力和全球扩张战略，演示全程以英语进行。
评委由Good Things合伙人卢锡勋、Sparklabs常务董事朴钟韩、Woori Venture Partners团队负责人李泰圭组成，对进入英国市场的可能性、商业模式的全球拓展性、技术差异化、可行性等进行了综合评估。评委们结合各自进军欧洲的经验，提供了具体的反馈和建议。
最终获胜者是AI生物初创公司Portray。Portray凭借其利用基于AI的空间转录组技术提高新药开发的效率和精度而获得高度评价。获胜团队将获得在ComeUp 2025展会上设立展位、参加2026年伦敦科技周的机会，以及与英国当地投资者和合作机构进行商业对接的机会。此外，所有六家公司都将获得COSPO一年免费会员资格。
活动上，Senstone英国法人swIDch参谋长吴秀铉介绍了通过英国政府的全球创业者计划（GEP）获得成功的经验。他分享了在当地设立法人、建立人脉、招商引资、办理许可等整个过程中积累的经验和策略，并介绍了后续创业公司可以借鉴的实用措施和机构资源。
Cospo专务理事崔智英表示，“对于初创企业来说，全球化扩张是生存和发展的关键战略”，并表示，“我们与英国政府共同创造了支持韩国创新资源全球化扩张的机会，今后也将通过包括ComeUp在内的各种实务项目，积极支持韩国初创企业拓展全球商业机会”。
英国驻首尔大使馆产业通商资源部商务参赞托尼·克莱姆森表示：“英国拥有欧洲最大、全球第三大的初创企业生态系统，其估值超过1.1万亿美元，拥有超过150家独角兽企业，以及超过2.5万家获得投资的初创企业。我希望韩英两国能够在人工智能、量子技术等深度科技领域携手合作，共同引领下一代科技创新。”

COSPHO et l'ambassade britannique en Corée organisent la « Journée des relations internationales »
Le Korea Startup Forum (président Sangwoo Han, ci-après dénommé KSF) a annoncé le 17 qu'il organisait la « Journée IR KSF avec l'ambassade britannique », un programme IR pratique pour soutenir l'entrée des startups nationales prometteuses de deep-tech sur le marché européen, à l'Aston Hall de l'ambassade britannique en Corée le 16.
Cet événement, organisé en pré-programme de COMEUP 2025, visait à étendre le réseau mondial de COMEUP au marché européen, tout en renforçant les capacités d'expansion à l'étranger des startups deep tech nationales et en établissant des points de contact concrets avec le marché européen. Grâce à cet événement, COSPO a établi des canaux d'échange officiels avec l'ambassade du Royaume-Uni en Corée et le ministère britannique du Commerce international.
Lors du recrutement préliminaire pour la sélection des entreprises participantes au pitch IR, 77 équipes de startups issues de domaines technologiques de pointe tels que l'IA, la robotique et la santé ont postulé, enregistrant un taux de compétition d'environ 13 contre 1. Parmi elles, six entreprises, dont ▲Mediology ▲Sevenpointone ▲Cubic ▲Eighttech ▲StudioGalilei ▲Portray, ont finalement été sélectionnées et ont présenté leurs prouesses technologiques et leurs stratégies d'expansion mondiale, et les présentations se sont déroulées entièrement en anglais.
Le jury, composé de Noh Seok-hoon, associé de Good Things, Park Jong-han, directeur général de Sparklabs, et Lee Tae-gyu, chef d'équipe de Woori Venture Partners, a évalué en détail la possibilité d'entrer sur le marché britannique, l'évolutivité mondiale du modèle économique, la différenciation technologique et la faisabilité. Les juges ont fourni des commentaires et des conseils précis, tirés de leur expérience d'implantation en Europe.
Le grand gagnant est Portray, une start-up bio-informatique spécialisée dans l'IA. Portray a reçu d'excellentes notes pour l'amélioration de l'efficacité et de la précision du développement de nouveaux médicaments grâce à l'utilisation d'une technologie de transcriptome spatial basée sur l'IA. L'équipe gagnante bénéficiera d'un stand à ComeUp 2025, d'une participation à la London Tech Week 2026 et d'opportunités de mise en relation avec des investisseurs locaux et des organisations partenaires au Royaume-Uni. De plus, les six entreprises ont bénéficié d'une adhésion gratuite à COSPO pendant un an.
Lors de l'événement, Oh Su-hyeon, directeur de cabinet de swIDch, filiale britannique de Senstone, a présenté un exemple de réussite du Programme d'Entrepreneuriat Mondial (GEP) du gouvernement britannique. Il a partagé ses expériences et les stratégies mises en œuvre tout au long du processus d'entrée, notamment la création d'entreprises locales, le réseautage, l'attraction d'investissements et les procédures d'octroi de licences. Il a également présenté des mesures pratiques et des ressources institutionnelles que les startups peuvent exploiter.
Choi Ji-young, directeur exécutif de Cospo, a déclaré : « Pour les startups, l'expansion mondiale est une stratégie clé pour la survie et la croissance », et a ajouté : « En collaboration avec le gouvernement britannique, nous avons créé une opportunité de soutenir l'expansion mondiale des ressources innovantes nationales, et nous continuerons à soutenir activement l'expansion des opportunités commerciales mondiales pour les startups nationales à travers divers programmes pratiques, y compris ComeUp. »
