인공지능(AI) 스타트업 하이퍼노트(대표 정지헌, 이유종)가 온디바이스 AI 기반 미팅노트 기술력을 인정받아 크루캐피탈(Krew Capital)의 초기 투자 이후 미국 엑셀러레이터 와이콤비네이터(Y Combinator)의 S25 배치 프로그램에 선정되며 후속 투자를 유치했다고 29일 밝혔다.
하이퍼노트는 메모장과 유사한 친숙한 인터페이스에 온디바이스 AI 기술을 접목해 회의 음성을 실시간으로 기록·요약하고 태스크 관리 기능까지 지원하는 보안 특화형 AI 미팅노트 애플리케이션을 개발 중이다. 음성-텍스트 변환을 포함한 모든 AI 연산을 사용자 기기 내에서 처리해 클라우드 전송을 하지 않으며, 오픈소스 코드로 공개하여 기업 보안 및 컴플라이언스 팀이 직접 검증하고 내부 시스템에 적용할 수 있다.
자체 개발한 소형 언어 모델(SLM)은 서버급 GPU 없이도 노트북 CPU와 NPU에서 원활히 작동해 해외 출장이나 망 분리 환경에서도 동일한 성능을 제공한다. 현재 투자은행(IB), 헬스케어, 로펌, 컨설팅 등 기밀 정보 보호가 중요한 산업군에서 초기 고객을 확보하며, 보안 규정에 맞춘 음성 인덱싱과 요약 기능을 고도화하고 있다.
와이콤비네이터는 에어비앤비, 드롭박스, 코인베이스 등 글로벌 기술기업을 배출한 세계적인 스타트업 엑셀러레이터로, 한국 스타트업 중에서는 센드버드, 마크비전, 미소 등이 프로그램을 통해 글로벌 진출에 성공했다. YC 배치 프로그램은 약 1%의 합격률을 기록하며 3개월간 집중 멘토링과 시드 투자를 제공한다. 하이퍼노트는 이를 기반으로 북미 및 유럽 시장 확장, 온디바이스 AI 모델 최적화, 오픈소스 커뮤니티 활성화에 주력할 계획이다.

HyperNote Selected for Y Combinator's S25 Deployment Program
Artificial intelligence (AI) startup Hypernote (CEO Jiheon Jeong and Yujong Lee) announced on the 29th that it has secured follow-up investment after being selected for the S25 batch program of the US accelerator Y Combinator following an initial investment from Krew Capital in recognition of its on-device AI-based meeting note technology.
HyperNote is developing a security-focused AI meeting note application that combines a familiar notepad-like interface with on-device AI technology to record and summarize meeting audio in real time, as well as supporting task management. All AI operations, including voice-to-text conversion, are processed on the user's device, eliminating cloud transmission. The open-source code allows corporate security and compliance teams to directly verify and implement it within their internal systems.
Our proprietary Small Language Model (SLM) operates seamlessly on laptop CPUs and NPUs without the need for server-grade GPUs, delivering consistent performance even during overseas business trips or in isolated network environments. We are currently securing initial customers in industries where confidential information protection is crucial, such as investment banking (IB), healthcare, law firms, and consulting, and are enhancing our speech indexing and summarization capabilities to meet security regulations.
Y Combinator is a global startup accelerator that has produced global tech companies like Airbnb, Dropbox, and Coinbase. The YC batch program boasts a 1% acceptance rate and offers three months of intensive mentoring and seed investment. La startup d'intelligence artificielle (IA) Hypernote (PDG Jiheon Jeong et Yujong Lee) a annoncé le 29 avoir obtenu un investissement de suivi après avoir été sélectionnée pour le programme S25 de l'accélérateur américain Y Combinator suite à un investissement initial de Krew Capital en reconnaissance de sa technologie de notes de réunion basée sur l'IA sur l'appareil.
HyperNote développe une application de prise de notes de réunion IA axée sur la sécurité. Elle combine une interface familière de type bloc-notes avec une technologie IA intégrée à l'appareil pour enregistrer et synthétiser l'audio des réunions en temps réel, tout en facilitant la gestion des tâches. Toutes les opérations IA, y compris la conversion voix-texte, sont traitées sur l'appareil de l'utilisateur, éliminant ainsi la transmission dans le cloud.
