AI 드론 전문기업 가이온(대표 강현섭)은 지난 1일 고양산업진흥원 K-하이테크플랫폼 지원단과 재직자 대상 디지털 역량 강화 및 4차 산업 관련 교육 협력을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약에 따라 양 기관은 드론, 인공지능(AI) 등 4차 산업 분야에 특화된 실무 중심 교육을 공동 기획하고, 디지털 인재 양성과 지역 산업 발전을 위한 협력 체계를 구축할 계획이다.
고양산업진흥원은 교육 인프라 및 프로그램 운영을 맡고, 가이온은 전문 강사진과 교육 콘텐츠 제공, 교육생 모집 등을 담당한다. 특히 가이온은 드론, AI, 보안 분야에서의 기술력을 바탕으로 현장 맞춤형 커리큘럼을 제공해 재직자들의 실무 역량 강화와 산업 현장의 디지털 전환 지원에 나선다.
가이온은 단기 교육에 그치지 않고, 지속 가능한 디지털 학습 환경 조성과 산업 현장의 기술격차 해소를 위한 중장기 협력 모델도 추진할 계획이다.
회사 측은 이번 협약을 통해 기술 교육을 중심으로 정책기관 및 교육기관과의 협업을 강화하고, 지역 기반 산업 생태계와의 연계를 확대해 나갈 방침이라고 밝혔다.
