하이퍼리얼리스틱 뉴럴렌더링 AI 기술을 개발하는 스타트업 ㈜미타운(대표 전상빈)이 지난 7월 25일 서울 용산구 로카우스 호텔에서 열린 ‘2025 ICT 넥스트 어워즈’에서 과학기술정보통신부 장관 표창을 수상했다고 5일 밝혔다.
해당 행사는 과학기술정보통신부가 주최하고 한국방송통신전파진흥원(KCA)이 주관한 ICT 분야 시상식으로, 미타운은 자사의 3D 가상피팅 및 XR 기술 기반 AI 패션 플랫폼 사례를 발표해 주목을 받았다.
미타운이 개발한 ‘이보바 3D 쇼룸’은 메타버스 랩 지원사업을 통해 과학기술정보통신부 정보통신진흥기금의 지원을 받아 개발된 서비스로, 패션 이커머스 분야에서 몰입형 3D 사용자 경험을 제공하는 기술이다.
전상빈 대표는 “이번 수상은 당사의 기술력을 공식적으로 인정받은 것”이라며 “향후에도 국내외 ICT 산업 발전에 기여할 수 있도록 기술 개발에 힘쓸 계획”이라고 말했다.

MiTown Receives Minister of Science and ICT Award at 2025 ICT Next Awards
MiTown Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeon Sang-bin), a startup developing hyper-realistic neural rendering AI technology, announced on the 5th that it received a commendation from the Minister of Science and ICT at the '2025 ICT Next Awards' held at the Locaus Hotel in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on July 25th.
The event is an ICT awards ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Korea Communications Commission (KCA), and MiTown garnered attention by presenting its 3D virtual fitting and XR technology-based AI fashion platform case.
'Ebova 3D Showroom', developed by Mitown, is a service developed with support from the Ministry of Science and ICT's Information and Communication Promotion Fund through the Metaverse Lab Support Project, and is a technology that provides an immersive 3D user experience in the fashion e-commerce field.
CEO Jeon Sang-bin said, “This award is official recognition of our technological prowess,” and added, “We plan to continue to develop technologies to contribute to the development of the domestic and international ICT industries.”
