벤처기업협회(회장 송병준)는 오는 11월 4일(화)부터 6일(목)까지 3일간 스페인 바르셀로나에서 열리는 ‘2025 스페인 바르셀로나 스마트시티 엑스포 월드 콩그레스(이하 SCEWC)’ 한국관에 참가할 벤처기업을 8월 14일(목)까지 모집한다고 밝혔다.
‘SCEWC’는 스마트시티 분야 세계 최대 규모의 박람회로, 매년 135개국 850개 도시, 860여 개의 글로벌 기업이 참가한다. 디지털 전환, 도시환경, 모빌리티, 정부혁신 등 다양한 주제로 150여 개의 부대행사와 비즈니스 교류가 진행될 예정이다.
협회는 KOTRA와 함께 한국 공동관을 구성해 벤처기업 7개사를 지원하며 참여기업에는 ▲전시 참가 및 부대비용의 70% 지원, ▲편도 해상운송비(1CBM), ▲사전 마케팅 및 현지 홍보, ▲바이어 미팅 주선, 통역비 등 전시회 현장 지원 등 다양한 혜택을 제공한다.
협회 관계자는 “SCEWC는 스마트시티와 관련된 글로벌 트렌드를 가장 빠르게 체감할 수 있는 무대”라며 “유럽 시장 진출을 희망하는 벤처기업에게 전략적 기회가 될 것”이라고 전했다.
2024년 박람회 참가 기업은 “전 세계 다양한 국가와 산업, 그리고 사람들을 하나로 연결하며, 혁신을 촉진하는 글로벌 플랫폼을 경험했다”며 높은 만족도를 보였다.
모집 대상은 인공지능, 데이터, IoT, 에너지·환경, 모빌리티, 건축기술, 보안, 금융, 드론 등 스마트시티 관련 분야에서 유럽 및 글로벌 시장 진출을 준비하고 있는 벤처기업이라면 누구나 참여 가능하다.

The Korea Venture Business Association is recruiting companies to participate in the 2025 SCEWC.
The Korea Venture Business Association (Chairman Song Byung-jun) announced that it will be recruiting venture companies to participate in the Korean pavilion at the '2025 Barcelona Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC)', which will be held in Barcelona, Spain for three days from Tuesday, November 4 to Thursday, November 6, until Thursday, August 14.
SCEWC is the world's largest smart city exhibition, attracting participation from 850 cities across 135 countries and approximately 860 global companies each year. Around 150 side events and business exchanges are planned, covering a wide range of topics, including digital transformation, urban environments, mobility, and government innovation.
The association, together with KOTRA, will establish a Korean joint pavilion to support seven venture companies, and will provide various benefits to participating companies, including ▲70% support for exhibition participation and incidental expenses, ▲one-way sea transportation costs (1CBM), ▲pre-marketing and local promotion, ▲on-site exhibition support such as buyer meeting arrangements and interpretation fees.
An association official said, “SCEWC is the stage where you can most quickly experience global trends related to smart cities,” and “It will be a strategic opportunity for venture companies hoping to enter the European market.”
Companies participating in the 2024 expo expressed high satisfaction, saying, "We experienced a global platform that connects diverse countries, industries, and people around the world and fosters innovation."
Any venture company preparing to enter the European and global markets in smart city-related fields such as artificial intelligence, data, IoT, energy/environment, mobility, architectural technology, security, finance, and drones is eligible to participate.

La Korea Venture Business Association (président Song Byung-jun) a annoncé qu'elle recruterait des sociétés de capital-risque pour participer au pavillon coréen au « 2025 Barcelona Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) », qui se tiendra à Barcelone, en Espagne, pendant trois jours, du mardi 4 novembre au jeudi 6 novembre, jusqu'au jeudi 14 août.
Le SCEWC est le plus grand salon mondial des villes intelligentes. Il attire chaque année la participation de 850 villes de 135 pays et d'environ 860 entreprises internationales. Environ 150 événements parallèles et échanges commerciaux sont prévus, couvrant un large éventail de sujets, notamment la transformation numérique, les environnements urbains, la mobilité et l'innovation gouvernementale.
L'association, en collaboration avec KOTRA, établira un pavillon conjoint coréen pour soutenir sept entreprises à capital-risque et offrira divers avantages aux entreprises participantes, notamment ▲70 % de soutien pour la participation à l'exposition et les frais accessoires, ▲les frais de transport maritime aller simple (1 CBM), ▲le pré-marketing et la promotion locale, ▲le soutien sur place à l'exposition, comme l'organisation des réunions avec les acheteurs et les frais d'interprétation.
