AI 기반 약물관리 솔루션 기업 약문약답 주식회사(대표 조정래)는 지난 7월 31일 경기도약사회(회장 연제덕)와 ‘AI 기반 포괄적 약물관리 서비스 질 향상을 위한 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 전국 시도약사회 가운데 약물관리 AI 솔루션을 공식 채택한 사례로, 약문약답은 경기도 내 약국 약 5,800곳을 대상으로 자사의 약물관리 AI 서비스 ‘PhAI(파이)’를 제공하게 된다. 이는 전국 약국의 약 23%에 해당하며, 약문약답은 이번 협약을 통해 국내 최대 규모의 약물관리 AI 도입 사례를 확보했다.
‘PhAI’는 처방 검토, 복약지도 정보 생성, 환자 복약관리 등 약물관리 전반에 걸친 기능을 갖춘 인공지능 서비스다. 특히 다제약물(20종 이상) 검토 기능을 포함해, 약사가 평균 2시간 이상 소요하던 약물 검토 업무를 5분 이내로 단축할 수 있는 것이 특징이다. 해당 시스템은 서울대학교 약학대학 임상약학 연구실과의 산학 협력을 통해 개발됐으며, 임상 기반 검토 노하우가 반영돼 있다.
약문약답은 약사 중심으로 개발된 점을 강점으로 내세우고 있다. 실제로 약사들이 기획과 개발에 참여했으며, AI 검토 품질 개선에도 직접 관여하고 있다. 향후에는 3만 4천여 명의 약사가 이용 중인 약사 전용 지식교류 플랫폼과도 연동해 현장 피드백을 반영하고, 약물관리 데이터를 지속적으로 축적할 계획이다.
연제덕 경기도약사회 회장은 “AI 기술이 약사의 전문성을 대체하는 것이 아니라 보조하는 도구로서, 약사가 환자 상담에 집중할 수 있도록 돕는 역할을 하게 될 것”이라며 “지역 주민에게 보다 나은 약료서비스 제공이 가능해질 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
조정래 약문약답 대표는 “PhAI는 약사가 사용하는 전문 도구로 설계됐으며, 약사의 검증을 통해 환자에게 실질적인 가치를 전달하는 것을 목표로 한다”며 “경기도약사회와의 협업을 시작으로 전국 약국에 서비스 도입을 확대해 나갈 것”이라고 밝혔다.
이번 협약에 따라 양측은 ▲방문약료 및 다제약물 자문약사 보조 AI 시스템 도입 및 고도화 ▲통합돌봄 환경에 필요한 약료 IT솔루션 개발 ▲약물관리 성공사례 및 경제성 평가 등을 공동 추진할 예정이다.

Yakmun Yakdap Co., Ltd. (CEO: Jeong-rae Jo), an AI-based drug management solution company, announced on July 31 that it signed a ‘MOU to improve the quality of AI-based comprehensive drug management services’ with the Gyeonggi Pharmaceutical Association (Chairman: Je-deok Yeon).
This agreement marks the official adoption of a drug management AI solution by a nationwide pharmacist association. Yakmunyakdap will provide its drug management AI service, "PhAI," to approximately 5,800 pharmacies in Gyeonggi Province. This represents approximately 23% of all pharmacies nationwide, making Yakmunyakdap the largest-scale implementation of drug management AI in Korea.
PhAI is an AI service that offers comprehensive drug management capabilities, including prescription review, medication guidance generation, and patient medication management. Its unique feature is its ability to review multiple medications (20 or more), reducing the average pharmacist's drug review time from over two hours to under five minutes. The system was developed through industry-academia collaboration with the Clinical Pharmacy Laboratory at Seoul National University's College of Pharmacy and incorporates clinically-based review expertise.
The strength of Yakmunyakdap lies in its pharmacist-focused development. Pharmacists participated in its planning and development, and they are directly involved in improving the quality of AI reviews. Going forward, the system will be integrated with a pharmacist-specific knowledge exchange platform used by over 34,000 pharmacists, incorporating field feedback and continuously accumulating medication management data.
Yeon Je-deok, president of the Gyeonggi Pharmaceutical Association, said, “AI technology will not replace the expertise of pharmacists, but rather serve as a supporting tool, helping pharmacists focus on patient consultations,” adding, “I expect that this will enable us to provide better pharmaceutical services to local residents.”
“PhAI was designed as a professional tool for pharmacists, and its goal is to deliver real value to patients through pharmacist verification,” said Cho Jeong-rae, CEO of Yakmun Yakmdap. “Starting with our collaboration with the Gyeonggi Pharmaceutical Association, we will expand the service to pharmacies nationwide.”
Under this agreement, the two parties will jointly pursue ▲the introduction and advancement of an AI system to assist pharmacists in visiting drugstores and multi-drug consultations, ▲the development of pharmaceutical IT solutions necessary for an integrated care environment, and ▲the evaluation of successful drug management cases and economic feasibility.

今回の条約は全国試薬薬社会の中で薬物管理AIソリューションを公式採用した事例で、薬文約解は京畿道内薬局約5,800カ所を対象に自社の薬物管理AIサービス「PhAI(パイ)」を提供することになる。これは全国薬局の約23％に相当し、薬文約解は今回の条約を通じて国内最大規模の薬物管理AI導入事例を確保した。
「PhAI」は、処方検討、服薬指導情報生成、患者服薬管理など薬物管理全般にわたる機能を備えた人工知能サービスだ。特に多薬物（20種以上）の検討機能を含め、薬剤師が平均2時間以上かかっていた薬物レビュー業務を5分以内に短縮できるのが特徴だ。このシステムはソウル大学薬学大学臨床薬学研究室との産学協力を通じて開発され、臨床ベースの検討ノウハウが反映されている。
薬文薬答は薬剤師中心に開発された点を強みとして掲げている。実際に薬剤師が企画と開発に参加しており、AIレビュー品質の改善にも直接関与している。今後は3万4千人余りの薬剤師が利用中の薬剤師専用の知識交流プラットフォームとも連動して現場フィードバックを反映し、薬物管理データを持続的に蓄積する計画だ。
ヨン・ジェドク京畿道薬社会会長は「AI技術が薬剤師の専門性を代替するのではなく補助する道具として、薬剤師が患者相談に集中できるように助ける役割をすることになるだろう」とし「地域住民により良い薬物サービス提供が可能になると期待する」と話した。
チョ・ジョンレ薬文薬答代表は「PhAIは薬剤師が使用する専門ツールとして設計されており、薬剤師の検証を通じて患者に実質的な価値を伝達することを目指す」とし「京畿道薬社会との協業を皮切りに全国薬局へのサービス導入を拡大していく」と明らかにした。
今回の協約により、両側は▲訪問薬料及び多医薬品諮問薬剤補助AIシステムの導入及び高度化▲統合世話環境に必要な薬料ITソリューションの開発▲薬物管理成功事例及び経済性評価などを共同推進する予定だ。

Yakmun Yakdap Co., Ltd.
