Codit Signs MOU with the Korean Association of Public Administration

CODIT (CEO Ji-eun Jeong) announced on the 18th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korean Association for Public Administration (Chairman Gwang-ho Jeong) to establish a system for policy research, public administration data analysis, and legislative and policy response.

This agreement aims to establish a foundation for policy improvement by combining Codit's AI and big data analysis technologies with the academic research capabilities of the Korean Association for Public Administration. Codit has been enhancing access to policy information through GovTech technologies, while the Korean Association for Public Administration has been conducting research on governance innovation. The collaboration between the two organizations is expected to further refine policy analysis and response systems.

Under the agreement, the two sides will pursue various projects, including monitoring and sharing data on administrative, policy, and legislative trends, joint research in the public administration field, co-hosting seminars on administrative issues, establishing a policy advisory network, and human resource exchange and training.

This June, CODIT hosted a special session on "The Future of Digital Governance" at the Korean Association for Public Administration's Summer Joint Conference, and recently co-hosted a seminar on legislative tasks for "K-Administration Digital Transformation" held at the National Assembly. Through this agreement, the institute plans to disseminate research findings through seminars and networking, accelerating the digital transformation of public administration.

“This collaboration is significant as it leverages Codet’s data and technology to support academic advancement,” said Jeong Ji-eun, CEO of Codet. “We will create a virtuous cycle where information sharing leads to practical research and field innovation.”

Jeong Gwang-ho, president of the Korean Association for Public Administration, said, “Through our collaboration with CODIT, we have established a foundation for academia to actively utilize vast amounts of policy data,” and added, “The integration of cutting-edge technologies such as AI into public administration will further accelerate.”
