My Real Trip (CEO Dong-geon Lee), Korea's leading travel super app, announced that its monthly transaction volume (GMV) reached KRW 217.1 billion in July of this year, breaking its all-time high.
My Real Trip, which reached KRW 100 billion in monthly transactions in 2023, surpassed KRW 200 billion for the first time last month. Cumulative transactions from January to July this year reached KRW 1.3 trillion, a 42% increase over the same period last year, and are expected to surpass KRW 2.6 trillion by the end of the year.
MyRealTrip is seeing consistent growth across all categories, including flights, accommodations, tours & activities (T&A), and "MyPack," a combination of independent and package travel. In particular, transaction volume and sales in the Tours & Activities category increased by over 40%.
The aviation sector ranked among the top in the industry with monthly transactions reaching KRW 120 billion based on Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) settlement performance. The lodging sector also saw a more than 50% increase compared to January, surpassing KRW 35 billion per month. Monthly operating profit also hit a record high, continuing a steep upward trend in profitability.
The growth drivers were primarily driven by improvements in user convenience, including AI-based personalized itinerary recommendations, simplified reservation processes, and automated customer responses.
My Real Trip plans to enhance its global competitiveness and reach annual transaction volume of 3 trillion won in the second half of the year by strengthening personalized services and launching brand campaigns.

Meanwhile, My Real Trip is focusing on enhancing its services as a travel super app, including recently expanding its global LCC airline ticket reservation service and beta-launching its real-time guide matching service, "Local Helper."
